Relic Hunter Firing Line is a United States Concealed Carry Association official partner range, and has USCCA certified instructors. I worked with Tom, who was very patient with this first time shooter, and took about half a dozen lessons with him. He explained the different types of pistols, and we used a different one for each lesson, just so I could get the feel of them and decide which one was best for me. Thanks, in a large part, to his patience, I became a member of the range, and will soon to be purchasing a pistol of my own, which I will do there. I haven't taken lessons with anyone besides Tom, but all the other employees are very professional and friendly, and I enjoy interacting with them as well. The selection in the shop is quite comprehensive and, from what I've seen online, the prices are competitive. Even if the prices were higher here, I would still probably go, because the professionalism and service would be worth the extra money.

My experience was so positive I'd give it 10 stars if I could. I worked with Tom Kane and he was knowledgeable and professional. He spent time time reviewing my father's fire arm that I inherited for condition and safety. He assisted me in choosing a new pistol that I love and gave me excellent instruction on safety and using my firearm. Excellent experience and can't wait to go back for some target practice.

I have been coming to Unami for 4+ years now, and never had any problems until today when a very…read moreproud board member, driving a black Mercedes, decided that 5+ people at the rifle range were suddenly breaking the rules. He drove his Mercedes like a bat out of hell onto the parking spot, almost hitting another range member, (4 of us witnessed it) and aggressively started accusing us of breaking the rules at "his" range (He said at least 6 times he's a board member). We tried to explain that 5 shooters with 5 separate rifles might give that impression, but he did not want to hear it, claiming "he has the knowledge". He cussed me out in front of my wife and friends after randomly accusing me of breaking rules, after I told him we have no idea what you're talking about, advising me to "shut my F'ing mouth", and threatened to "revoke our memberships" since he is a board member. We talked very respectfully to him, trying to get him to calm down, saying things like "I'm not trying to give you a hard time but there are 5 firearms out at the moment and were all shooting, maybe you have the wrong idea" but that just made it worse for him. He started aggressively explaining how we have no knowledge of guns and that he will get the members at the range today all revoked. 3 of the 5 people packed their rifles away and 2 kept shooting to which he commented "see now you're not shooting so fast are ya?" which we responded "only 2 people are shooting now". He then sat in his black Mercedes and watched us all for the next 15-20 minutes before he left. I do not understand why someone would come act this aggressively for no reason at a gun range when 5 separate people are shooting 5 separate guns at 5 separate targets. It was a truly disrespectful interaction, and three of us are considering dropping our memberships because of this. I do NOT want to be apart of a place that treats members so abrasively, basically bullied, for no given reason. Again, I have been a member for some years now, and never had any issues, but this changes after such an incredibly childish and unwarranted interaction from the very prideful Mercedes board member.

Never had a problem using the facility or issues with staff. Recently had a run in with one of the Members-staff who thought he was the range police. Made a seen like a Karen and threatened to call the cops for no solid reason. Was nothing shy of confrontational and tried to escalate the situation because his Ego was hurt. Not the place to have abrasive encounters. We wont be returning and advise anyone with options to look else were.

Incredible shooting range!…read more We came here while staying nearby for a weekend away and were so impressed with the knowledge of everybody from start to finish. Reid was our instructor and made sure we knew all about gun safety, even for those of us who have shot before. He took us through different types of guns and tips and each of us got a bullseye! The entire facility is great. Outdoors with ear and eye safety protocols in place. Prices are fair considering the amount of fun you're guaranteed to have. Plenty of parking. Can't wait to come back!

If you don't have the proper PPE they do offer disposable PPE for your ears and they give you glasses , if you wish to purchase they have a whole store full of items and accessories , I believe you can bring your own firearm at this location but you must purchase a visitor range pass to do so and also be transported in a case or holster and remain in the case until your at the shooting bay

Used to love this place, but new policies and lack of transparency changed that…read more I'm writing this to help fellow shooters make an informed choice. I used to be a big fan of The Gun Range because of their friendly staff and their policy allowing outside ammo. As someone who buys in bulk from Cheaper Than Dirt, being able to bring my own rounds makes this hobby much more affordable. Unfortunately, my last visit with my son was a major disappointment: Shotgun Ammo Price Gouging: We brought a new Boss 25 to break in, only to be told we could no longer use outside shotgun ammo. They quoted me $48 for a box of 25 shells. For context, I buy 250 shells online for $86. That is a massive markup. Misleading Safety Claims: When I questioned the policy change, the manager claimed it was due to a fire caused by "faulty shotgun ammo" at another range. I looked this up while waiting; the fire she referenced was actually attributed to faulty air filtration, not ammo. Poor Customer Service: We bought two targets but only ended up using one. When I tried to return the unused, unrolled target, I was told it was "unreturnable" because it was rolled up--despite the fact that the clerk was the one who rolled it when selling it to us. A private business has every right to change its policies, but they should be honest about it. Don't hide behind safety excuses to justify inflated prices. They've lost my business and my trust.

I saw them interacting with people that were clearly first time shooters and they seemed very nice and helpful. As someone that was clearly experienced, they didn't ask me a lot of questions, and just gave me the information on their range protocol and I was good to go. I went on a weekend and it does get busy. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a lane, which really isn't that bad. I appreciated the fact that you can bring your own ammo with a few restrictions such as in rounds, tracer, steel, core, etc. Nothing too over-the-top, and all very reasonable. I did not buy any ammo there, so I can't comment on the prices. The range rental fees are for as long as you like to shoot, which is very nice. They have a number of handguns and long guns for rent, the only restriction there is you must use their ammo and you must have at least two people... For some reason, they will not rent a firearm to single shooters. The shooting positions are a little narrow, but are absolutely fine for two people. There is not much room behind each position, especially if there are many people on the range, so keep that in mind. It is good to note that since they allow a wide range of calibers, you may find yourself on a line with people shooting long rifles and large caliber handguns. If you're a first time shooter, or don't like it crowded, I would strongly recommend going during the week. They have extended hours until 9 PM every day, but Sunday, which is great. The Saturday that we went the range was completely full, and some shooters were shooting large caliber rifles, as well as a few people had full auto or maybe they rented them. It's definitely a little overwhelming if you're not prepared for it!
