He Stopped over within hours and spent 30 minutes walking around my yard listening to my needs and then returned a few days later till solidify plans gave me a great quote and started work within another few days. I desperately needed a yard cleanup and about 10 tree branches removed from a very large maple tree which was actually in my neighbor's yard. After calling several other places and never getting calls back I gave these guys a call and they were happy to come out. The gave a quick estimate which was very reasonable. My boyfriend called them back to approve the work and they were understandably booked out a couple weeks. A couple days later they called to tell my boyfriend that he had estimated just a bit too high. I was really impressed as I had already approved a higher amount, but they were honest enough to correct the price in my favor. Although they said we would be a couple weeks out, they happened to find some time in between much sooner and squeezed me in. 4 guys showed up and quickly took down the branches and cleaned my entire yard. I got home just as they had finished. I have had communication troubles and language barriers with previous companies, making it harder to communicate what I wanted and ask questions. Not the case with these guys. They walked me through everything they did and were happy to answer some of our questions about part of our yard. They came back a second time at my request to do a tick treatment on my yard, spray some poison ivy and mow. As expected, they did a fantastic job! My intention was to have them come in for a twice a year cleanup, but I am having them back on a bi weekly basis for general maintenance because they really did impress me. I am absolutely THRILLED with Eagle Eye! I can honestly say these guys really do "soar above the rest." After calling many other companies (most of whom didn't even bother to get back to me), I found them here on-line this past Wednesday; they came out that very evening and spent a couple hours walking around the property with me, talking about all I wanted to do. Both Jim and Arthur are very knowledgeable about all the plants in my yard, as well as my mom's next door, and they didn't bat an eye when I asked about cleaning out old beds that had for years been overgrown with wild grapes, raspberries, roses, wisteria, and Autumn Olives. They made great suggestions about different things we could do to bring our properties back--and they even had a plan for how to do it, one step at a time ("a la carte," as Arthur said). Jim originally told me they'd be back to begin the following week (probably Tuesday)--but if he could squeeze me in over the weekend, he would. Imagine how surprised and pleased I was to see him here with Arthur and Jason on Saturday! My mom and I are absolutely delighted with the work that was done--and it's only the first step. When they finished their work for the day, they asked me to come outside to take a look and we walked all over the property again while they pointed out things they'd done and asked questions about what we wanted done in the future. It's very refreshing to find two men in this day and age who take such pride in their work! And they're not only professional, but very personable, too, and, as other reviewers have noted, their prices are quite reasonable. If you need a real landscaper, this is THE company to call. If I could give 10 stars I would. They came out when we had 20 inches plus of grass for an "emergency cut" on literally the hottest day of the year and said "no problem". Jim was amazingly professional and not pushy about recommending other services. He then took the next step and followed up a few days later to ask how things were looking. Arthur and Jim...two of the most amiable guys I have ever dealt with! The crazy storm of August 4th toppled a tree behind my poor, little shed...it hit the shed roof and blew out the front wall. The garden in front of the shed was literally pancaked, the back yard and my car were swallowed up by the branches and limbs, and what was a flower-filled area was a mess! They came out the day after to check on things...they will start on Monday to try and get everything back in order. Love working with them! read more
