Juan and his team have, so far, installed a fence and a "dry look" stone wall in our back yard. I did research and checked reviews here and on Angie's List - all good! I ended up choosing them bc they are a "one stop" shop - I didn't want to have to book a bunch of different contractors for what I wanted done. They started on a Monday and were done by Thursday end of day. They are the hardest workers Ive ever seen. They worked from 9am until, literally, the last cast of sunlight. I'm kind of a pain in azz and Juan handled me and my random text messages/questions quickly. His cost estimate was on point as well. They cleaned up after themselves and were great all around. I have them booked to come back and do the patio and another fence along the driveway. I'll post a follow up then. all in all they are easy to deal with, efficient, fairly priced, honest, hard working, solid quality, clean, and they do it all - walls, fence, landscaping etc... nice works guys ty! I hired them to repoint my brick stairs. Others I consulted with wanted to tear them down and replace with plain concrete stairs. J&G Masonry came over examined the stairs and told us what they could do. My brick front stairs now look brand new. He charges what others were going to charge to replace with ugly concrete only stairs. They were extremely professional and the know the masonry business. They worked so hard all day and they were neat and you could see the pride they took with every single brick laid down. Once done they thoroughly cleaned up everything up. I am absolutely impressed by the work Juan and all of his workers did on my first yard project. They completed a big stone patio project in a matter of two days with workers coming early in the morning and staying until 8:30pm. They also did an area for the grill and a stepping section for when my kids go in the trampoline. Price was RIGHT and I never had to attempt for him to reduce price even as we increased project along the way. The design was stunning and quality was outstanding! We we're looking into having our deck removed and a patio installed. Juan was recommended by a friend who had done work for him previously. I contacted him and asked for a quote. He came out when he said he would and gave a fair price. The work that was done took more than 4 days. The work itself I'm very happy with. The craftsmanship and masonry was exceptional. However my one complaint is lack of communication during the process. He was supposed to start on a Friday. My wife took a day out of work in case someone needed to be there. I messaged him the previous night asking when he'll be at my house. He stated he'll be there in the morning. By 10am nobody showed. He messaged me saying due to the previous day's weather he had a set back. Very understandable. He told me he'll have guys there in the afternoon to start. By 3pm still no one. I reached out asking what's going on. He did not respond till 115am the next day saying they'll be there the next morning. Nobody showed till 11am the following day. During the construction we added stone veneer to my steps. Again the work came out excellent. However the lack of communication on how much it would be and what he would do wasn't there. Regardless of how much it was I wanted the veneer but just to give me a heads up would of been nice. Also once work was complete there was no follow up. Not even a notice to let us know they were done. All in all 4 out of 5 stars. The work speaks for itself. Couldn't be happier with how are patio and walkway came out. The lack of communication is my only complaint. I would use them again if needed. read more

All other businesses responded with "sure I would need to come out and see to give an estimate" , which is completely understandable. This company responded with " how many panels do you think it will take?" I'm sorry why am I being asked that? I have no idea and when I responded with I don't know I didn't hear back. Can't say enough good things about Juan and his team. He covered our driveway retaining wall and steps with stone veneers and also added a second small stone wall on the other side of the driveway to match everything...looks fantastic! First off Juan is a great communicator during the entire construction process. Second his crew are fast workers, what was initially projected to be a 5 day project they finished in 3 despite some tough digging conditions and weather. The retaining wall they built is roughly 50' and nearly 4' high and straight as an arrow. We couldn't be more pleased with the finish product. Juan and his crew went above and beyond what our initial project asked for and left our backyard looking like there hadn't been a major construction project taking place. We hired Juan to do some work on our property. Juan was prompt in meeting us and reviewed what we wanted done and gave us a price that was very reasonable. Contacted J&G to schedule an estimate on fence replacing. Was told they would be out to do this on Saturday around 1:00 ish. Waited all day on Saturday and they were a no show. Nor did they contact me on Saturday to say that they wouldn't be able to come out on Saturday. Then on Sunday around 1:15 pm, I got a email from them asking if I was home, they were here to do the estimate. It being Mother's Day, I was not home at this time and I emailed them stating that they were supposed to be out the day before. I received a reply saying "You are right yesterday we where really busy". No apology was given for not showing up when scheduled. Won't be using this company for the work. read more
