Shout out to Tony first of all!!! Someone had hit our car's driver side fender and ran. Because of this, we couldn't open our driver side door anymore. We requested a quote from Eagle Eye on the Sunday before Labour Day and Tony got back to us within the hour. Someone decided to brazenly damage our car passenger door either by their own car door OR a shopping cart. We ended up with two dents, one large circular dent that was on the curved edge of the door and then vertical dents just up higher. Didn't notice these dents until after our third shopping stop and we were pretty upset. Wish our car had some type of Sentry Mode like Tesla, so maybe we can try to add something similar down the line. Anyway, I immediately checked into getting this fixed and chose not go through the insurance company. Found a couple places that wanted to charge between $550 to $700+, however they wanted to do a complete repair which included sanding and painting with color-match. I didn't think any of that was necessary since there was no paint transfer or scratches that you could see. I looked into PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) and found Eagle Eye. Tony quoted me about $350 with the pictures I gave him, however he did need to see the car first. Once he arrived the next day he advised me that because the larger circular dent was on a curve, he may or may not be able to take it out, in which by the latter, he would not charge me. We also have no driveway and can only park our car across the street. However, Tony and his work associate got to work and took about 2 1/2 hours. He needed to use a heat gun in the mix to help take the dent out. Luckily we had a rather long extension cord that they were able to use. So just please note that in certain cases, access to a power source may be needed, but even in our parking situation, it was still workable. Thankfully they were able to get all the dents outs. He did mention that the door was NOT made of aluminum which made it a lot easier to remove the dents, but it still took time mainly because of where that larger dent was situated. I called Tony at Eagle Eye to come take a look at 2 dents - one on each of my cars. The dent on one car was on the hood, right next to a body line crease from the factory. Great repair in a difficult area of the car. It is IMPORRANT TO NOTE TGAT NOT ALL DENTS CAN BE REPAIRED VIA PAINTLESS REPAIR. However,in my car's case, tgedent was relatable WITHOUT any body shop. Tony assessed the lower car door damage and quoted me 250.00 which is far superior to a collision shop. The dent came out in a matter of an hour and a half. **NOTE TO CUSTOMERS: You do need to have access to an electrical outlet to do this type of cat repair.
