We disagreed as I was to turn the car into the dealership. I thought Eduardo and I had come to an agreement when I gave him $2500 in cash. But he did not fix the whole car. Well, I crunched up my truck. I needed it fixed without involving insurance. I threw it out on Yelp and got a great response from Magic Touch Repairs. We communicated, and I did my best to let them know what needed to be fixed. I need some paint touch-ups for scratches, and I also needed the lower bumper facia replaced, which required the bumper to be taken off. I reached out on 4/15/26 to see if it were possible to buff out scratches on my hood and fender from cleaning off gritty bird poop. I was warned that there's no guarantee that all will buff out but that "most if not all will be completely removed by buffing out." On 4/22 Ernesto came to do the work, and before starting I made sure to have him inspect the damage closely and confirm again that he felt most of it would buff out. After the job he pointed out that only two older spots were impossible to remove by buffing, but that ALL of the other damage had been completely buffed out. I was very happy with the work at first. But, now that over a month has past and the wax or whatever shinny solution that was buffed over the damage has worn off, nearly everything is visible again. At no point when showing me everything was buffed out was it explained that this was actually some sort of optical illusion that would wear off and that the marks under would again be visible in time. It was presented to me like a done deal-- marks all gone, so I trusted they were gone for good. I know I was warned that they might not get every scratch out, but to tell me "most" would buff out, and then to also point out after the work that ALL were buffed out, even though they were only temporarily masked over, is dishonest. I also find it very suspicious I was told they take credit card, but only after the job was done was told I could only pay via Venmo "friends and family" -- which left me with zero customer protections. If gone through credit card or Venmo as a service or sale, I would be able to dispute paying the full charge. But because of how they made me pay I am totally screwed. When I reached out about this I was told they warned me it might not work, and it's my fault I didn't go with a hood repaint instead of buffing in the first place. Though paint was not something they had mentioned before, and had told me buffing would remove "most if not all" the damage.... which is why I went ahead with the work. This experience has left me feeling totally scammed. Learn from my mistake -- GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE! BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY! read more

I purchased a used car that had damage on the rear panel and bumped and was looking to get it fixed as soon as I purchased it. And was worried about finding someone that couldn't paint match. I requested a quote from Magic Touch Repairs and Jacky respond quickly and was able to get me a quote and an appointment that worked best for me. Day of repair, their technician Ernesto arrived on time and got to work right away. He went through the process of paint matching the car and it came out a perfect match! The repair took around 4-5 hours. The quality of work is amazing! My car looks brand new and the paint matching is so good it looks like nothing ever happened! Be sure to ask them how long after your repair will it be okay to have your car washed. They said I was okay to go a head and do a hand wash but recommended waiting a week after repair before doing a machine wash, which is what I did and everything held up perfectly! The whole process was super easy and super convenient. After setting up an appointment, Juan showed up right on time and did an outstanding job on my Porsche Carrera S! I had done some scratch repair work, but I couldn't get the clear coat blended in properly. Juan did an expert job perfectly blending the clear coat on the rear bumper, then proceeded to repair a deep scratch on the front lower right bumper matching the paint and repairing a small area of missing plastic. This post has been long overdue. I just wanted to follow-up with the work that Magic Touch Repairs did. I was stoked and happy that they did an amazing job with my back bumper of my Toyota Camry. A couple months after their amazing work, I was driving through Palm Springs with my Toyota and the winds were really bad. I heard a thud from the back of my vehicle and I looked back and my back bumper, where Magic had installed, was coming off on the left side. I can see it from my rear view that it was flapping against the wind. I pulled over to see what caused the issue. I saw a crack from where the back bumper was flapping against the wind and it bent back causing it to crack. I didnt back into anything or nobody hit me, since there were no scratches. I checked the inside of the bumper to see why it detached, I saw that there were missing screws from the bumper as of none were fastened by any screws underneath There were a total of 4 missing screw on that side. I can see that they used some type of retainer clips instead of actual screws, in which they had to used screws since there were liners to insert screws The retainer clips had popped off. I called Magic to see if they can come and fix the crack and replace the screws, since I am still under warranty. I got my bumper installed from them in July and it was September 2021 at the time. They refused to come and fix my bumper, even though I was under warranty. They said that they cannot fix it since it was not the original back bumper, which it came off of the same year Toyota Camry. I was pretty upset that they wouldn't fix it, since they never put screws in. I was able to go to Autozone and get the screws and screwed them on, with no problems. Fast forward to now, 2023 the bumper is still intact even with heavy winds and rains. Even insured hurricane Hilary.... but there's still a crack from when it was bent. This company does good work, I can't deny that but it's pretty upsetting that they won't come and honor their warranty and have to make dumb excuses so that they won't do the work. I WILL NEVER COME to Magic Touch Repair again and I won't recommend them to anyone. The representative was kind but they wouldn't work with me and they blamed me for what happened, which is total BS. I will add the additional photos where the AFTER their work, and going through the Palm Spring winds the bumper was falling off, the crack and a photo of under the bumper where screws were supposed to be screwed on. read more
