Wake me up this is a dream! After nearly 2 years my daughter had her side view mirror taped on and would not fix it because the Toyota place said they had to take off the door, do a bunch of electrical wiring it would be over 1700$ possibly more once they get in there. I highly recommend PUR collision center! My Alfa Romeo was rear ended and they did an incredible job handling the insurance company and making it look like nothing ever happened. I originally tried to go through one of State Farm's approved body shops, but they were super dismissive and told me they probably couldn't get the parts for a month a least and they (other body shop) wanted a deposit from me! They also said my car was drivable - bumper was smashed into the muffler and touching it. I showed them this and then they offered to take the bumper off and I could drive around - unreal and illegal. Anyway, I went to PUR and they advocated for me with the insurance company. Said my car could not be driven due to fire hazard with the bumper and muffler (totally correct). I got a rental and was comfortable thanks to them while they perfectly repaired the car. They even made the State Farm appraiser come to them so they could have them see all the damage and fix it properly. They fixed it fast and I am so happy with their work. I just left PUR Collision Center after Alex helped me take out the scratch from the front right side of my car after I scratched it on another vehicle while backing into a parking spot. When he saw the pictures I sent him, he offered to buffer for free to see if that would do the job, so I went. I saw the positive reviews on Yelp so I decided to give them a try. It took Alex one minute to start buffering, and he got out the scratches. Then he said to me that my scratches were actually on the PPF that I applied to the front of my car when I purchased it years ago and that my car is actually in perfect shape, that the scratches were just on the film. And just like that, I left the shop in less than ten minutes without being charged ridiculous amount that other shops were trying to charge me. I'll say this about PUR: you can trust them. They were honest from the beginning, and did not charge me anything unnecessary. Alex is the real deal. Took my 03 accord into the shop this morning to help with some damage from a hit and run. I told him I didnt need anything fancy and that I wasn't too concerned with making things perfect since it's an older car. Let me start by telling you how to judge your car repair. Look down the side from the front and rear light. Are the panels straight and in line? Check the gaps on the doors and hood. Are they even not wide at the bottom or narrow at the top Etc. Check the paint match in the sunlight not indoors. Look for overspray, runs and orange peel in the paint. Make everything works like window sprayers, mirrors et . My experience at PUR was an outstanding on each of these metrics. The paint match was excellent considering this is an outdoor car eight years old It was really excellent repair, replacing two doors and a minor dent. The price was worth what I paid but not too expensive or inexpensive. Fair considering the high quality of work. It was promised in a week and done on time.
