They are a caring and clean facility my dogs always come back happy and taken care of.

We cannot be more pleased with the attentive service we received at Eagle Hill. Our little guy spent the Easter holiday there and the staff were kind and understanding since it was the first time we used them to board our toy poodle. They made friends with Groot and he came back to us clean and happy. We will be using them again when we take our next trip. read more

My dog can be sensitive to new environments and does not do well with the noise of typical kennels - however, from the time we pulled up she felt completely at home here at Eagle Hill Pet Care!! She also typically has trouble feeling up to eating when she's stressed at a kennel or while boarding, but she had no problem at all here! She had a wonderful time and she was absolutely thrilled when I picked her up after 10 days. She was not in any way stressed and looked so happy! She was clean, had obviously had a wonderful time and been extremely well cared for! I would absolutely board her here again anytime in the future and highly recommend them! My dog here is truly happy here which says a lot as she is scared of big dogs. They always keep her with the small dogs. The place is always clean and smells fresh. They always groom her before I pick her up but she is always happy to see them when I drop her off. I will say she tends to put on a little weight while there but drop her off with her own food due to allergies and we free feed her at home and at Eagle Hill they do the same. Can not say enough good things about this kennel They do not take credit cards so make sure you bring a check or cash at pick up. read more

I have been bringing my English bulldog to eagle hill for the past two years and I can't say enough about how wonderful they are! I love having peace of mind that my girl is in good hands while I'm away. Alison and Hamish are consummate professionals. They live on the property and take excellent care of the facility. It is always spotless. The prices are great and the kennels have indoor and outdoor spaces. They promptly return phone calls and offer great services like extra playtime or a bath after a long stay. They are well organized and make sure that the pets have up to date shots so they're all safe. My only hesitation in writing this post is that if the word gets out, I'll have a harder time getting a spot! Nonetheless, eagle hill is the best and they deserve to be recognized. We boarded our two dogs for a three night stay at Eagle Hill, and were very pleased with the facility. The owners, Alison and Hamish, were warm and welcoming. The facility itself is modern, bright, and very clean. We were apprehensive about boarding the dogs anywhere, our younger dog has some anxiety issues and we weren't sure how she'd do in unfamiliar surroundings with people she didn't know. Fortunately the worry was for nothing. Both dogs were fine, they were both calm, content, and happily wagging their tails when I returned to pick them up!! They had obviously been very well cared for. The rates at Eagle Hill are very reasonable, for a small extra fee they provide daily exercise and play time as well. I wouldn't hesitate to bring the dogs back here when we need to be away in the future. read more

We boarded both our cat and dog here. Four days in our cat was brought to the vet for unexplained illness. He spent five days at the vet and was placed on antibiotic therapy. While the gentleman that owns the facility appears very nice, I don't feel he was honest with what happened to my Charlie. We picked them up and now my dog is on antibiotic therapy for a bad URI. read more

We usually leave our 2 chihuahuas home when we travel and a relative stays at our house to watch them. This doesn't work since they were alone all day and our relative didn't feed them on schedule. We wanted to take an 8 day cruise and were leery of leaving them in a kennel. Our friends used Eagle Hill for many years and recommended them. We felt much more comfortable after seeing the cleanliness of the kennel, meeting the owner and seeing what they had to offer. We even included play time for our "kids". The owner suggested we put both dogs in the same kennel for their comfort. I can't say enough about this place.. I even called to see how they were - they were fine. When we picked them up they were happy and been well cared for. I FINALLY enjoyed a vacation without worrying. I think my dogs enjoyed their vacation, too!! 5 stars and thank you, Eagle Hill. Just picked up my dog here after a 10 day vacation and I'm so disappointed. My dog lost a lot of weight and was so dirty and slept in his own feces for days. If you love your pet please don't leave them at this place as they keep the animals caged up for days without food. My dog now can't even stand on his legs due to his rapid weight loss. I can't forgive my self for leaving him with these horrible people. I hope this place gets inspected because they shouldn't be running this business at all. Poor animals :( read more

After being boarded for a week my beautiful healthy dog was returned to me very sick and very dirty. This kennel has a bad case of kennel cough. The owner lied to me at drop off saying their vet had tested everything and there was no kennel cough. On a more forgivable, but still infuriating, note the owner lied that my dog would be bathed and groomed prior to pickup. And on a side note - the owner wouldn't let me walk my dog to the quarters at drop off (despite being able to do this at every other kennel we've boarded at). I understand now that it's because the dogs are sick and neglected while there. I'm furious, and I hope they go out of business. read more

My relative's beloved dog boarded there for a week and came home with kennel cough. Never exposed to other dogs except her fellow pet, had all her shots, checked out by a vet the day before she went into this kennel. She came home depressed, did not appear to have been let out to run around despite the extra daily charge for this. Her coat was dull and flaky, and the owner admitted she "didn't have time" to groom her or bathe her as was promised on the last day "if the weather was nice," which it was, warm and sunny. read more

DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOGS HERE!!! We had a family wedding this past weekend and needed somewhere to board our 12 year old dog and our 9 month old puppy. We dropped them off at the Eagle Hill Pet Care Center late Friday afternoon and picked them up at 9:45 am this morning. First we had to wait for the owner to come out of his house, he wasn't at the kennel. He then starts telling us all about how he's supposedly been up all night with another dog that was having a reaction to flea and tick medication. They don't take credit cards so he collects our check. He then goes to get our two dogs. First he comes out with their supplies and starts saying, "Oh, one of them knocked the water bowl over and has been playing in it, and they are a bit wet." He hands us the supplies and goes back to get the dogs. While he was gone, I checked and neither bed is wet at all. I start going through the bag of supplies we left and we had provided cans of wet food with clear instructions to mix them in with the kibble we left. Every can was still in the bag, untouched and obviously never fed to the dogs. The toys I provided were not wet either and exactly in the bag as I had left them. Clearly never given to the dogs to play with. Then he comes out with both dogs. Both dogs are filthy, wet and positively reeked of urine. I was absolutely shocked by their condition. Our puppy was acting very skittish and cowered at my feet whenever the owner came near. I asked why the beds weren't wet since the water bowl was supposedly knocked over and he just said the beds weren't in the kennel with them. No explanation as to why they didn't give them the beds that I provided. I then asked why the cans of wet food were never given to them either and he said they decided not to do that "because of the heat". Um......what??? Seriously? I then said that both dogs reeked of urine - particularly the puppy. No explanation as to why but he immediately starts endlessly offering to "wash them up" before we take them. As if I would leave them alone with this man for even a single second more. I said no and he just continued to offer over and over to "rinse them off". We just wanted to get them out of there. We took them outside and started to walk them over to a grassy area to let them relieve themselves as we had a 2 hour drive home. Our older dog doesn't make it 3 feet from the door before she squats on the pavement and proceeds to let loose the longest stream of urine I have ever seen any dog release at once. The amount of pee our poor dog was holding in her bladder was staggering. Both dogs then immediately pooped. Clearly neither had been given access to potty outside for an extended period of time. Thus why both were covered in urine. We loaded both in the back of our minivan and then enjoyed a 2 hour drive home that reeked of urine the entire way. Upon returning home, both dogs were immediately bathed and fed. They ate like they hadn't eaten in a while and now are both passed out, exhausted. I cried on the drive home as I was so shocked and upset by how badly they were clearly neglected at this horrible place. Please, if you love your animals at all, steer far clear of this place. They need to be shut down before more animals are neglected and traumatized here. read more

My pets have been going here for 5+ years and I trust Lynn and Hamish fully with my furry family members! They have a website which shows the grounds, they live on the grounds, and the testimonials fully out weigh the one crap review on here! I have a Golden Retriever and a chihuahua who frequently are kenneled here and they love it and get excited when we pull in! I wouldn't even trust my family members to keep my fur babies as well cared for as Eagle Hill does! read more
