Eagle Pharmacy is a terrible company. They have repeatedly filled and sent my medicine with the wrong dosage, even though the notes in my file provide them with the correct instructions. They are expensive and provide bad customer service. If you want to wait on the phone for 30 minutes to provide instructions that your pharmacy will ignore, then Eagle Pharmacy is the pharmacy that you should use. Please do not use Eagle. They don't care about their customers. These people are dishonest and should not be trusted!! read more

Horrible Horrible customer service. Agents will lie about a manager being available and can be completely unhelpful. Transferred several times when simply calling to provide a new method of payment. When asked to speak with a manager about these awful experiences they flat out refuse. I am sure a message will post about messaging them but that is not even an option. Love this pharmacy! They always notify me ahead of time to get new prescriptions sent in if the old one has expired. They make sure to send me my new prescriptions for synthroid in time so there is not gap in taking it. Their synthroid price is the BEST in the nation that I have access to!! Terrible company. Absolutely void of customer service. Cannot seem to get a prescription from point A to point B in any kind of reasonable time frame if at all. No communication in place that is not out of the 80's. Have not figured out how social media could help or how to value customers' time preferring to drag them through multiples of unnecessary voicemail cues that do nothing and get you to no one you may need to talk to. And this is after they tell you to call them because they lost, again, information or worse yet your prescription. Avoid them. read more

If I could leave a zero star I would. Eagle Pharmacy can NOT be considered a functioning company by todays standards, it's like trying to reach a pharmacy in a 3rd world country. There is zero customer service, I know this because any attempt I've made to contact them, I.e. emails, voicemails, sitting on the phone for 30 minutes before it disconnects- has resulted in zero contact with a human being. I get my Synthroid through the mail and based off other reviews with similar needs, I can see the negligence of Eagle Pharmacy is system wide and not just my isolated event. And I quote: The website doesn't successfully translate and change an auto ship status off (you can turn it on though $$). If you turn off auto ship, please expect to receive your meds in the mail regardless. If you place an order through the antiquated website, it doesn't then update/refresh and tell you the order exists. You have to put your card information, cross your fingers and hope that it is approved, submitted, and processed by the pharmacy because there is no confirmation email telling you they received the order. What's even more fun is that once it does ships it takes 14 days to get to you. So what was the final straw that brought me here to Yelp? What was it that really chapped my lips to go as far as to report them to BBB as well as notify my doctors office who chair is the head of Yale Endocrinology last Friday, I'll tell you... I received an email that my order had shipped. An order for a dose that I was no longer needing. I had gone into their website two months prior and removed the "autoship" request in the 125mg dose because I no longer needed it. I also decided to remove the autoship feature from all other doses. Noticing the consistent pattern of inconsistency, delays and overall lack of care for customer service, I thought it best to not let them be in charge of when my meds are sent out. So how the hell did an order get placed and shipped for the higher dose when it's not on auto refill?! And whoever the moderator is for Eagle, the one who is going to come on here and say email the admistrator@eaglepharmacy.com or call the number- don't. Those are the same lines of communication that we are all on here making negative reviews about. I'll be refusing the order when it comes from UPS and sending it back with the unrealistic hopes of a refund. I'll take the generic 112mg levothyroxine (that doesn't really work) til I find another pharmacy. So Eagle! Enrolled in the Synthroid Delivers Program. My first order required me to call their customer support because their system never processed my order when I signed up. Got that squared away and set it to autoship. My second order was supposed to ship on May 6th. Fast forward to June 1st. I checked to see what happened and my May 6th order was still "processing", and their system had created a second order the day before that was on hold. Had to call their customer support AGAIN (don't even get me started on their ridiculous automated voice recognition system)...they canceled the second order in the system and called over to the pharmacy to make sure the May 6th order was shipped out that day. Later that day I got an email that my order shipped with an expected delivery date of 12/31/0001 and was given a tracking number that doesn't work (it's not a UPS or a USPS tracking number). I'm down to my last week of pills and not even sure if I will be getting my medication in time. Two orders into this place and both have been a disaster. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Your voice recognition system, is a joke! Most are, but yours certainly is. Your web site is very poor to resolve questions that arent on the "list" I am trying to enter my insurance information prior to my plan of moving all my prescriptions to you. Which for sure isn't going to happen now. I will now likely be moving my current prescription from you to someone with some customer service rather than having to deal with useless voice messaging and a poorly designed web site. When I FINALLY got your useless voice recognition system to understand that I need to talk to a "human being" since it did not recognize the word "insurance," nor did it recognize the word "no", I get get another recording telling me that there are 10 people ahead of me. Experience tells me that means, "Get lost, we dont have time to deal with customers." But, if true about the 10, (which I doubt) it should tell some "manager" around there you have some problems. Ordered on May 29. Nothing arrived. Called back on June 7, order to be shipped overnight air. Nothing arrived. Called back again on June 11-order was supposedly shipped today, 2nd day air. This delay has impacted the date of surgery as well as attendant plans for vacation time, coverage, etc. Representatives were professional and helpful. Yet another 1-star review. This is the problem with Eagle: because they have a monopoly on certain drugs, they have no incentive (and obviously no desire) to improve. I have now spent more than a week trying to get them to make a simple phone call to FedEx to re-route a prescription that went to the wrong address. Everyone is very pleasant, but no-one has any authority to make a decision, so they just pass the notes round and round. I've ordered a prescription through Eagle Pharmacy at the direction of my physician. The medication sent to me from the manufacturer through Eagle Pharmacy has not been in accordance with the physician's orders, yet I'm being fraudulently billed by Eagle Pharmacy and the manufacturer. It's impossible to get resolution, as Eagle Pharmacy makes it extremely difficult to talk to someone to address issues. Eagle Pharmacy clearly doesn't care about the integrity of the manufacturers that it deals with, as long as it can make profit, regardless of what is delivered. Very frustrating to deal with Eagle Pharmacy, as you spend forever on hold trying to reach someone that actually cares and can actually deal with customer service. read more

They'll fraudulently charge you and deny wrongdoing... My wife has NEVER requested auto-fill for her meds, and her doctor discontinued one of them 3 months ago. Suddenly this week the discontinued med was "auto-filled" and shipped without her knowledge or consent and they're denying any wrongdoing. We're pursuing complaints with the Florida Board of Health, as well as our state attorney's office for consumer protection. They've committed fraud and when they "investigated", they found no wrong-doing on their part (big surprise) and when my wife submitted an appeal per their process it was denied within 10 minutes. read more

Dispensed the wrong drug, lied about it and no refund! Eagle pharmacy dispensed a brand name drug to me when my doctor specifically prescribed the generic. They have charged me for the brand name drug, and refuse to issue a refund. When I called, they tell me that it's my fault, that I should have known that they didn't dispense this generic drug from an application to this online pharmacy years ago... However, I didn't write the script! They claim they called my doctor to advise her they don't carry the generic, which appears to be a lie. No record of a call. Eagle now claims that their people wouldn't do that. The transaction of the script from my doctor to the pharmacy had nothing to do with me, but still they say it is my responsibility to know they don't dispense generics... Now they've charged my credit card for the wrong drug. I called two more times, spoke to a supervisor, and they refused to refund the money. Shady operation. Closed account, advising my doctors and licensing boards. read more

As long as there are no issues - eagle Pharmacy seems fine. They ship medications. The meds show up. However, my experience has shifted and the level of customer service and attitude about providing service is terrible. Long story short - at some point my doctor changed the dosage of my rx. Eagle sent an email for me to approve the change and I did. I received my meds. The next month I received an email - actually 2 in the same day - one for the old dosage and one for the new. I believe I responded yes to the new. But then I noticed in my account it was the charge for the old. I called Eagle to hopefully stop the shipment. I was told I'd have to wait for someone to review this and call me back. Of course by that time, it had shipped. I talked with someone who said I could send the email that I received to their administrative department. So I did and I requested to send the incorrect meds back in the original unopened shipping package and a refund. Two days later I received a phone call to say that my request was denied. Eagle says I responded to the wrong email. I said - ok let's say I did. But eagle also sent an email for a medication I had already said I wasn't taking anymore. Perhaps there is error somewhere either way. But I am now seeking resolution (customer service). The representative said no sorry it's denied. I asked for a supervisor to call me back to discuss. That was 3 days ago. I have $65 tied up in a medication that I cannot use. And they would rather lose a customer than provide a resolution and customer service. That one star is not a star at all. *i received a phone call today to ask if I want to fill the correct medication. I said no because I can't get a resolution to my issue. She said "the refund?- we're issuing you a refund". I hope that will be the case. However, just doing it in the beginning when the mistake was discovered would feel much different than it does now. I hope it's really resolved. *i finally have the refund. I'm appreciative of that however dealing with it at the beginning of the issue would have felt much different. Perhaps there needs to be better training of the associates on the phone who are the first contacts. read more

I get my prescriptions filled by Eagle Pharmacy they're always convenient helpful and the shipping is really fast I've never experienced any type of problems. I've been using Egal Pharmacy for over four years now and I have never once. Had Customer service say things like it's not my department nor we refilled without your authorization. In fact there all most to helpfull which is Isn't a bad thing like that Egal Pharmacy goes for the name brands for a cheaper price. read more

After waiting 10 days for a prescription which never arrived after I had received an email from the company stating it had shipped I called the company and was told they would file an inquiry and I would need to wait another 2 days before they would let me know what happened. After asking for a supervisor I was told that there are none available. So let me get this strait. ***UPDATED*** Please read through to the end. Why in the world would someone from California choose a mail-order pharmacy in Florida. Well, I'm just finding out after about a year of experience with Eagle. On the recommendation of my Ophthalmologist, I chose Eagle based on their affiliation with Akorn Pharmaceuticals, the product manufacturer. For a few months everything was fine, but it's collapsed in the last three months. Great online-oriented interface, notifies me when a refill is needed, and a simple 'Yes' response is all that's needed. Here's the recap of the last 3 months: July: Product arrives on a day I specifically requested no delivery, due to out of town commitments. As the product is kept refrigerated, this is important. Net result, product sat on a truck in SoCal's 100+ degree weather over a three day period, was hot to the touch when finally received. August: Ordered the day the notice to refill was sent. After a week with no action, I called and found out that "the prescription had expired". No notice to me, or to my physician, and no shipment until I called. Miraculously, they "found" the prescription while I was on the phone, and shipped that day. September: Same deal, "no prescription" and no call. I contacted them about 10 days after the order, claimed they would contact the physician immediately for a new prescription. I also left a VM for the physician the same morning. After 3 days, no action. I called then, and was informed that they had the prescription. It was a Wednesday, and they "only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays, so it would be at least another week before I could receive it. I appealed, in that it would not be a problem if they would have done what they said they would do (contact me if there was a prescription issue, and call the physician as well), and ask for an expedited shipment, since am out of the product, which is a daily-use product. My request was declined, unless I would pay a $20 added fee for next-day delivery. I'm done, and anyone considering using them should be done before they start. Nice people HORRIBLE execution. **UPDATE**IMPORTANT** After posting this, within just a few hours I had a very positive response from a senior customer experience manager at Eagle. She was honest, attentive and very interested how the above situation had occurred. Not only did she apologize, but immediately offered me a next-day delivery at Eagle's expense, and stated that the response I received from the first-line customer representative was totally unacceptable and wrong. We discussed issues with the system in notifications, etc. as outlined above, and she was committed to bringing it to a senior staff meeting coming up on the following Monday, and making sure it would not recur with other customers. Long story short, Eagle stood behind their commitments, and seemed very serious about addressing them one-by-one. All the while she was friendly, professional and solution-oriented. I received the Rx the next day via FedEx air, by the way. I'm still a customer, and will stay one unless something changes in the future, and am thankful and impressed by their response. Hence the rating I've given has been modified to reflect the results and the response. read more

Like most of the other reviews, my experience with Eagle's telephone and online service was unbearable. I was simply trying to renew a prescription and responding to an email from them to do so. I was unable to do it online for some unexplainable reason and their telephone system, after waiting for 30 minutes or so, disconnected me. I tried again and eventually hung up. I am exploring other options even if I have to pay more. read more

Do not get enrolled with Eagle Pharmacy in Lakeland, Florida, Synthroid Delivers Program. For nominal savings on the brand of this medication, it's not worth it. They get the script from your doctor, put you on autoship, and automatically charge you $75, for the next batch before you've even run out of the current batch. Then, the next batch delivered, and you still have multiple pills left from your old batch. The problem with this is that if you've seen your doctor and the doctor changes the dosage, you're now stuck with a dosage that you cannot take. The program has no contingencies for a situation with their customers, where the dosage has been changed. Synthroid is a medication where the dosage commonly is adjusted, either lower or higher. This company has no customer service, although they claim to support their customers. The support they offer is about actual questions about the medication, but with any other issues, your entirely on your own. They won't take back an unopened and unused bottle, and do not even offer a credit. There's nothing about this company's policies that encouraged me to continue using them, so I opted out of the program. Nothing but crooks, quick to take your money, but offer no service. Totally unprofessional, impersonal, and unethical. For the nominal savings you get using them, stay away, and stick with your local pharmacy who knows you and will often work with you to resolve issues. It's just better to give a local business your business, and help to sustain them, while your needs are met. Local pharmacies, are motivated to help their long time customers. Don't let anyone talk you into enrolling in this program, you will come to regret it. Stay away from these out-of-state , greedy, shameless crooks who only want your money and leave you high and dry when you have an issue. If I could leave zero stars I would. read more

I have used Eagle Pharmacy for several years without any problems. But that has changed now. I had a prescription with a bunch of refills left on it, but for some reason I could not refill it online. I called in and after waiting on hold for an hour I left a message but no one ever called back. I decided to have my doctor call in a new prescription. I received a text message that it had been received. The website says it is being "processed." This morning I had a message on my cellphone from Eagle Pharmacy asking me to call back at 844-892-3864. I tried twice, but the message I got each time was that the number is no longer in service. So I tried the number shown on the website, and I have now been holding for an hour. At this time I don't know if my prescription has been filled or if there is a problem or what. Pathetic customer service. Impossible to do business with a pharmacy that cannot be reached. read more

I my doctor ordered my prescription on May 26th. After my doctors appointment I called them and made sure they had payment info and anything else they needed. I was told 1 to 3 days to process and 2 days to ship. So that would have put the meds coming around June 4th. When they did not come on the 4th I called again and as told that they did not even have the medicine attached to my profile yet so it had not been filled yet. I asked why and the person could not say. I asked her to have it filled and expedited to me please. I was informed that would not happen it will still take time to process and ship. Today is the 8th I called again today and the medicine is still in processing and was told it will take 24 or 48 hours to be shipped so I might receive the medication by the weekend. I had surgery and need this medicine (anti inflammatory) . And I am upset that Eagle is not only slow but shows no care for there customers. This pharmacy is a joke. The first time i called they took all my information down and got it wrong. Even after i asked the lady to read it back to and i corrected her. She told i was all set up and i would receive my prescription in a couple of days. After 3 days i called to follow up and they had the wrong address, even after the lady corrected it the first time. So they corrected it amd told me it would be another couple of days. Again 3 days came and went still no prescription, they called and left a couple of vm's and i tried to call back but was on hold too long. I work long hours at a full time job, and dont have time to wait on hold for long periods of time. When i finally got a hold of someone they said my card declined for no reason. I've had this card 17 years and it never declined. So i was transferred to another dept for them to get the correct information again. I was told another couple of days. BTW there was nothing wrong with my card) Then received an email saying my order was cancelled. Once again had to call, wait on hold only to be told all my info appeared to be correct and the price was now $15 higher than what was originally quoted. I was angry at this point, asked to speak to mgmt, who did nothing. This pharmacy couldn't even place a simple order timely, how could i even think about trusting them to send me correct medication. I cancelled my order and took my business elsewhere. That was the worst experience i have ever had, and will not refer anyone here. I've never posted a negative review, because i also work in customer service and understand the challenges, but this place didnt care, and when i spoke to mgmt she was extremely rude, and condescending. read more

This place is horrible. They are extremely disorganized and they don't seem to understand that people are actually waiting for a medication that they are supposed to send. I am now waiting for my 4th week for medication that was ordered by my doctor. No one can explain to me why they have not shipped it out and they do not notify you within a reasonable period of time if they don't hear back from your doctor in order to clarify your order. I was sent a prescription that my doctor put on file with them. I've never been on automatic refill, ever. The company always sends me an email asking if I would like to have the prescription filled. So I get an email from Eagle saying your prescription is on it's way. I never requested this be filled. In fact I still have close to 2 months of my last prescription left to use. At my last doctors appt. she and I decided I could go off the medication. Eagle sent me 3 months supply and I notified them that I was never on auto refill. I also have the previous emails asking me if I would like my prescriptions sent. I sent the pills back and now I'm working through my bank and trying to get a refund from this company using my debit without my permission! This is very unprofessional by Eagle! This group is horrible. Go look at the reviews from the BBB. Their answer is always they followed their procedures. I had issues with a prescription 3 times over 9 months. It was the same prescription with minor adjustments - each time my doctors office called, Eagle Pharmacy always had an administrative reason why it couldn't be filled without more information, they never call dr., never sent email. Worst customer service and worst pharmacy ever. They don't want to file claim for my lost package and asked me to deal with UPS myself. UPS is saying that they cannot process the claims for MY lost package unless it is from the sender's (Eagle pharmacy) side. For my next delivery they will not even change the delivery system to a signed package delivery. WORST PHARMACY AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Have no idea why my PCP recommended them, local pharmacies are more trustworthy than these expensive and inefficient ones. Going to go with my local pharmacy from next time. read more
