Sticks and Stones is a great furniture and home decor store in Estes Park that focuses on beautiful…read morehand crafted wood products. The products are rustic, unique and one of a kind! Ranging from small items like salt lamps, to large recycled barn board beds! I discovered Sticks and Stones last year, when I bought a great wooden vase with a dried flower arrangement, and a great aspen wooden candle centerpiece that were both stunning...and still are! This week, I worked with the owner VAL to purchase a sofa, chair and ottoman - these are handcrafted with Aspen boughs at the base, then covered with gorgeous upholstery- With Val's help, I selected the coffee microfiber that looks like distressed leather. The prices are reasonable and downright GREAT for one of a kind pieces that are handcrafted ($2700 for three pieces). When they are in, I will submit a photo! I am very excited to have found such a great and unique "cabin-furnishing" store in downtown Estes Park with such helpful and sweet proprietors!

Not only are the items in the…read morestore wonderful, but last time we were in, we were able to chat with the owners for a while. They are genuinely great people (and longtime locals!). They were happy to suggest items for different people and were even happy to give us detailed directions to the nearest bathroom on our way out. We will be sure to come back and shop here every time we are back.

They store pieces of amazing handmade art from more than 120 American Artists. pottery, jewelry, photographs, prints, paintings, art glass, metal art, stained glass there is something for every preference and price point. We were so fascinated by some of the kaleidoscopes they had -very intricate work . The glass paintings were also gorgeous and definitely something I would have loved to buy only if I had the space in my luggage . fortunately for me some artists come from Oregon and the store owner gave me the names so that I can look them up in my local galleries . She served me a delicious cup of Chai Tea in a Victorian cup & saucer. NICE! There was so much nice stuff to look at but I was just there to browse. I asked if she had anything for a 1 year-old little girl & she showed me an adorable little tea set. It was too cute so I bought it without hesitation. This nice place sells all kinds of things and then some. Handmade quilts, gifts galore, jewelry, fabric and much more. Unfortunately, I had very little time to browse since my bf was next door at the sport shop. But here's the kicker, besides enjoying a nice hot cup of tea, I mentioned that I was having a bad headache because I'm not use to the altitude. If I could afford it, I would have 100% bought the rare pearl necklace, maybe someday!
