Quick and professional. And best part was it was close to my home. I hope her store doesn't close like the surrounding 10 recycling centers around here. I would recommend this place.

Really the state of California should make the businesses who charge the 5¢ recycling fee do a redemption service to give you the fees back. It's just another way we're taxed in California without receiving the costs back. Just like the $10¢ bag fees. But this place is cool. It's organized. And they're at least recycling what would go into a landfill otherwise.

I go during LUNCH which can go either way but NO ONE is arriving in business attire to recycle. The crew usually offers to help but I refuse because it's their lunch time as well. It's not immediately clear where to go and what to do but they have plenty of staff to direct you. They asked me to empty my different types of bottles (clear glass, colorful glass, plastic) into three large cylindrical barrels before they weighed them. I can see what other reviewers are saying about how they don't fully put the container on the scale to ascertain the full weight of the bottles. They hand you a receipt after weighing and you take it to the window to cash out. They ask you to sign the receipt before giving you the money. All in all, it's an easy process and I'm not sure it's worth the trouble because I don't have that much to recycle at a time but it might make sense for the people sorting pickup trucks' worth of recycling. Pro tip: Sort your recycling in advance so when you get to the recycle center, you just have to dump it into one of the barrels and not sort it on site.
