Grant and the team at Williams Ski and Sport were super responsive and helpful in fixing those problems. He's a great troubleshooter and service tech himself. When some of the problems required service by the manufacturer, he coordinated shipment of the parts back to the company and stayed on them until the repairs had been made. He even got them to replace some parts that had not yet failed, but looked likely to do so soon, saving me visits to his shop and more shipments to HQ. Saved me money, too -- those replacements cost me nothing! We've got a lake place near the shop. His focus on customer satisfaction keeps me coming back -- I know I can trust him and his team. Just last week I was in the shop looking for trainer skis for a very young relative who badly wanted to be like the big kids. One of the sales folks showed me the Connelly Firecracker, a design I'd never heard about before. The next day we had a deliriously happy five-year-old in our midst, and I'm set up for the next generation of ambitious lake visitors. Love the shop and staff. Really can't say enough good stuff.

The staff was VERY friendly, helpful, and informative from start to finish. The check-in process was so easy, and they did a great job making sure we didn't spend our vacation waiting around. The pontoon boat was clean, comfortable, and the tube worked perfectly for the kids. Everyone had such a great time on the water! This was our second time renting a boat from State Park Marina, and both experiences have been amazing. We truly have no complaints. The staff is awesome and goes above and beyond to make sure families have a great experience. Highly recommend State Park Marina if you're looking for a fun day on the lake!

Lots of uneven roots and rocks though. We returned on Beacham Trail, just slightly inland of fuller, but it parallels it completely. It was quite a bit more flat and easier to navigate if you have any foot or ankle concerns. Lovely trails! Full bathrooms at the campground. And a GREAT playground for kids!

Our guides were so personable, accommodating,& not overbearing in that "Your a tourist so we have to do the small talk" thing. It was actually cool, like going out to the lake with friends. I originally picked Sup for the Cliff Diving feature, which to me is exactly what is needed during a vacation. My partner wasn't a fan of that idea so we found a more "relaxing" vibe, settling on the Sunset Paddle. Best thing for me is while we did our Sunset paddle our guide suggested doing a cliff jump& I was so excited! It was exactly what I wanted and I valued the suggestion since my partner wasn't interested in it. I was the only person at first who wanted to jump, the guide said he'd jump too. Little by little the whole group, INCLUDING my partner decided to join! It wasn't one of those "Peer Pressure" things. Just good ol' inviting nature coupled with words of encouragement. It was a huge highlight for me. So many options: Cliff Jumping, Sunset paddling, Eco Tours, lounging chairs to relax at the lake in. They pretty much have it all& the cherry on top: PRICE! No price gouging. If you have your own gear it's even cheaper. They sit at $20/Person for the tour when you have your own gear. Small wins in this economy. Yes we could've just went out with our own gear and got to mosey around, but it was so nice to be guided where the sun sets perfectly. For our anniversary we took a long weekend to camp at Prairie Creek Campground (a CoE park). We…read morerented a pontoon boat for Saturday from the marina. (First of all, pricing for boat rentals is CRAZY, $700 for the day!) We (5 of us) get there at 9:00 that morning, ready to go. We check in, get assigned boat #5, we load a day's worth of "stuff" (2 coolers, food, floaties, towels, etc.), get our instructions, back out of the slip, and motor toward open water. As soon as we pass the "no wake zone" buoy the boat starts beeping. We turn around for the marina. Get back, go inside, and ... wait my turn. Tell them the boat is beeping. "Okay, we'll be with you in just a minute." So ... we wait. The guy who gave us our instructions comes back, and takes the boat out. Brings the boat back in, "yep, it's beeping." Volt meter says 11.4 volts. "I'll go get a new battery." We wait. He comes back with a new battery ... and no tools to install the battery. We wait. New battery is installed ... new battery doesn't solve the problem. "You'll have to go inside and talk to them." Inside: "We're 'sorry', all our boats are rented for the day. How far away do you live?" 5 hours. "Well, we can give you a refund or give you credit for another day." Um, no, I'll take the refund. We won't be back. So, all that to say this: Does the marina check the boats between rentals? Who knows. What we do know: they don't hold ANY boats back "just in case" something like this happens. Additionally: you were just renting ONE of their 10 (12 ... 15 ...?) boats. If they ruined your day because their boat doesn't work, they're "sorry". Beware of boat #5!
