I under estimated this boat ride. These boats have huge engines that move so fast on the water. Then they give you a warning that they are going to spin the boat in 360* turn. You can pay extra to sit in the first 3 rows. They say, "You will get wet." Well, when they did the turn, everyone on got a little wet. They also do this maneuver where they hit the brakes hard. When that happens, the front of the boat and the first 3 rows get a tsunami of water that literally feels like getting 50 gallons of water dumped you. I was awesome, but wow, you got 100% soaked. They pulled move 4 times. I will be going again but don't wear your hat or sunglasses. Also, if you bring your phone, I suggest putting it in a ziplock bag in your pocket. This was a lot of fun, worth the cost of a ticket ($39.99 per adult). Their PA system was jacked up so it was annoying when the captain would talk about some point of interest while we were in the quiet portion of the ride and he sounded like the adults in Peanuts cartoons (wah wah wahhh wah). The fun part of the ride is when the captain does some fun 360s and big 180s and then comes to a very fast stop. Now. Please listen to me very closely: when they tell you the first three rows of the boat get wet, they don't mean a little splash from the wake. You get what amounts to a huge bucket of water poured over your head. It's not just wet, it's SOAKING WET, like you've jumped in a pool. Not for the faint of heart. If you are in the first 3-4 rows you can't go get lunch afterwards at Branson Landing. You have to go home, strip, shower, dry out all your belongings. I'm just saying, bring a backpack with dry clothes and put your phone in a plastic bag. The rest of the boat's rows were dry. Recommend, am just a little salty about getting so wet (they TOLD us, I just didn't listen). read more

We spent 5 days in Branson and we seen a sign about Branson Jet boat. We have been on a couple others but in Florida so expectations were kinda already set. They offer priority boarding for additional money think it was about $9 a ticket which we didn't do. Driver was very informal of boat and details about the lake. When we took off it was slow due to the boat docks and residential area but when we got out away from there the gloves were off and it was a blast! Did multiple 360 turns and countless nose dives drenching anyone in rows 1-4. I highly recommend this to anyone! read more

The ride on the boat was so much fun! We rode quite a way up the lake so there was lots to see. The stunts were fun, but not so crazy that I felt uncomfortable. My husband has right side paralysis and the crew was very patient and helpful to get him into the boat and out. Very enjoyable! read more

Party of 9 on July 3, 2021, 2 pm group. The first half was fine. 30 minutes, a couple of 360-degree turns, one bow dunk getting the first few rows wet. The jet boat broke down halfway through after the boat purposefully drove into team of ducks swimming in the water. Not all the ducks flew away. Didn't seem like all the ducks dove safely under water. A lot of us guessed that a duck went into a propeller / jet. The crew announced a few times that they were going to "try one more thing" but the boat never got faster than slow. Pontoons passed us by. Lots of time idly floating in the water. The last half took over an hour, most of it sitting in the sun without any breeze or any way to cool down. Misery. Everyone around me was dehydrated, bitter, annoyed, and frustrated. When we finally returned to dock at around 3:30, the next group (4 pm) was lined up ready to go. Same boat, no other boat in sight. Management did nothing, said nothing to the people waiting to board despite the boat obviously having technical difficulties. Many of us went to the kiosk to complain and request refunds. The woman at the kiosk contacted management. The first response was INSULTING. We were told that there would be not any refund since we still got to enjoy a "leisurely boat ride on the lake." WHAT?! First of all, Branson Jet Boats sells tickets based on the speed, excitement, 360-degree spins, and getting wet. We did NOT pay for a "leisurely boat ride on the lake"! Plus, we were hot and miserable - we DEFINITELY did not pay for that horrible experience! Eventually, management agreed to refund us half. When it got to my turn, they claimed I paid $328.50 for 5 adults and 4 children. I paid $345.89. I showed the electronic receipt from their very own website AND the price I paid on my credit card account clearly showing that I paid $345.89. I was told that they could only refund 50% of the amount they claimed I paid ($328.50). After trying to argue, I gave up as my family was already late for another obligation. When I got the receipt showing my refund, THE RECEIPT SHOWED I PAID $345.89! It even printed that after the refund of $164.25, I still ended up paying $181.84! If I truly were refunded 50%, then the amount of the refund should equal the amount I paid after the refund! Bottom line: Unethical, greedy management/ownership. I don't need the extra $8.69 that I should have been refunded. It's not about that. I have no respect for a business that (1) first tried to deny any refund by claiming that we still got we paid for and (2) still tried to cheat me out of a few dollars after agreeing to a 50% refund. They could have easily avoided any ill will by taking small measures to apologize and work to accommodate us. There should be contingency plans in place for how to placate their paying customers if the boat malfunctions. I feel bad for the groups after us boarding a malfunctioning boat with no disclosure from management! My advice to anyone and everyone - AVOID THIS COMPANY. read more

Me and my wife rode it is very fun. The boat dose power slides side to side. Does a few nose dives everyone in front gets a little wet nothing bad. The captain spins the boat all the way around to the left and right. Good for all ages. You will get just a little wet but by the time it's all over you'll be dry again. Last one hour. read more

My family really enjoyed it so I guess that is most important. I found it average. You go on about an hour ride that includes about 20 spins. I would relate it to being at an amusement park and riding a fun ride over and over. We sat in row 3 and I goutbsprayed with water a few times but I for sure was not soaked or wet. I would say it was like being in a light rain. My daughter sat on the outside and she got a little more wet than me. You drive around the lake and they give you some history. Every few minutes he says hold on and he gives you a moment to get ready and then you go on a fun spin. It was good but I was expecting more I guess. We decided to try this jet boat after seeing it on Lake Taneycomo. It was AWESOME! A great way to see the Lake and sights along the Lake and what a fun trip with the Captain! It was hot and the water sprays were great! Well worth it! read more

FUN FUN FUN!!!! Had a blast doing this. They take around 40 people on this jet boat and fly down Lake Taneycomo, making "donuts " in the water and getting people wet. The pilot and mate were great, pointing out landmarks and wildlife. read more
