We were scheduled to stay in another park for a week. Then overnight here. The other park was horrible. No cell reception, so no internet, no TV. We stayed one night there and then called Eagle Soaring to see if we could get in early. She gave us her LAST spot. The one she saves for "just in case". So we were appreciative and happy to get it. We could boondock but its just not our style. John checked us in and he could not have been nicer. I don't think, in all our travels I've ever had a camp host interduce him/her self. So just that was nice. Then you get to pick your own site. All the same so no problem there. Nice big sites, trees in-between most from what I saw. Spaces a little close together but stagger parked so your not looking directly into your neighbors windows. He told me, go ahead and settle in and then bring the paperwork down. Again, never in all our travels, 100s of parks, has anyone allowed that. It is a bit far from town so that can be a pro or a con depending on your outlook. It was near the highway, but honestly we were never bothered by any noise. We have an older coach, maybe they were insulated better a few years ago? Didn't use the restrooms/showers so I cant comment on that. But we would stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

The hosts at this park were very nice in a last minute booking 2 years ago. We stayed in early summer for a week. It was close parking proximity to other campers, but clean facilities and just far enough off the highway to not hear all the traffic. There is a communal fire ring to visit if you're in a social mood. And the trees between the campground and the highway have grown considerably since then to provide more shade and privacy. Close location to Steamboat Springs makes it convenient for supplies and touring. read more

No Wifi, despite advertising they have WiFi. Showers are not good, mold and mildew. Plain type of campsite beautiful views. Not sure I'd recommend it. read more

Very quiet low frills campground! Owners are super friendly, close to town. Only complaint is the mosquitos, we had about 75 of them waiting every time we opened our door. Not the campgrounds fault, but be prepared with bug spray for your stay! Lol read more

Do not come here thinking you'll have wifi. I had work to do and needed wifi!! Highly disappointed that the wifi was so weak I couldn't even use it! BAD stench of sewer odors. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!! read more

Not sure what everyone that's given this place 5* has been looking at. There is NO good views unless you call a hill right in front of you a view. This is a gravel road parking lot that no matter how much people drive by you slow, EVERYTHING gets dusted up BAD. God forbid you try to sit outside and enjoy your day. You will end up sucking in dust. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE WILL NEVER CAMP OUT AT THIS CHEAPLY MADE GRAVEL ROAD THEY CALL A CAMPGROUND. read more

Stayed here in July 2016. I would give it a 4 1/2 star if that was available. THE GOOD My comments are virtually the same as the other review; nice big sites, good hook-ups, decent WiFi, fabulous views and friendly staff. We used the bathrooms a couple of times, which seemed clean - didn't use the showers, which are 50 cents for 5 minutes (seems reasonable). We happened to be parked next to some very nice neighbors who gave us tons of great local tips. THE OTHER It's a little close to the highway, although we stayed in site no. 6 and the noise wasn't too bad at all, except for the occasional freight train, which tracks parallel the highway. The bad news is you are about 10 miles from town, but the good news you are 10 miles from town. read more

Saw the review from the poster that had a one star rating and a pic of the hill behind the RV park. I'm not sure what the agenda was but suffice to say they're somewhat misconstruing the truth, e.g. lying. The views here are beautiful. The park ideally suited for big Class A's with wide pull throughs. All the hook ups are new and well placed. Staff is friendly and the Bathroom/showers clean and very serviceable. All in all a nice park that well placed to visit Steamboat springs. read more

I'd rather boon-dock then stay here again. We stayed there on two separate occasions and were extremely disappointed both times. First, the camp manager is not friendly at all. We have stayed in many rv spots this past year and this was the first time we didn't feel welcome where we stayed. Several times I would be out walking my dog when she drove by in her golf cart and couldn't be bothered to smile back at me when I waved and smiled. All she is concerned about is guests sticking to a 5mph speed limit (to create less dust) but doesn't hold herself accountable to the same standards. I watched her drag the gravel roads creating a huge plume of dust because she was driving so fast. Their ridiculous flyer they give you at check-in warns about speed limit and no dogs off-leash, picking up after dogs and not allowing kids to be unsupervised. Well, it's clearly just written on a piece of paper and not enforced. People were allowing their dogs to run everywhere off leash and kids were running through campsites and driving the loop on their motorcycle at all hours of the day. The flyer also talks about amenities - but it's the amenities of the town of Steamboat and not their RV park. The website is a joke. Doesn't say when check-in or check-out is so you have no clue til you show up. When we reserved our spot, there's no email receipt or anything given (after you provide your credit card) so you better hope she wrote things down right. Last, the water is disgusting. And I mean the color of it is between orange and brown. So, like I said, I'd be better off boon-docking since I will have to bring in my own water anyway. read more

$48/night for just a parking spot? They were somewhat level. Most RV resorts have far more for less. Only 2 fire rings to share between all campsites, very small tress with little shade. No pool/hot tub. Nothing for kids to do. I also expected for almost $50/night to not have to pay for a shower (coin operated so we used our coach shower), we also had to supply our own toilet paper in the bathroom as there was none to be found. We will be planning better and reserving at the local KOA next time. read more
