First visit was Q1 2024 for a pickup load of "hot" mushroom compost, the second visist was Q4 2024 for a pickup load again of Promix organic mushroom compost for $70 + tax. Each time the guy at the counter was cool, just doing his job kind of way. That good. He told me to follow this guy on the tractor with the loader. I knew this would be janky because I am a terrible driver and non understanding of such directions. The young fella on the tractor made allowances for me, I could tell he knew I was gonna make a wrong turn or some crazy move. His eyes told me "crazy woman driver" and I was just fine with that. He hadn't seen me yet with a shopping cart at Walmart attempting to manuever through the aisles. 12 year old grandson gave me a few directions and it all came out just fine. This Promix Mushroom compost is not recommended to go direct on the garden / flower beds as it needs to cook a bit longer. I add it as a topping mix over the winter to break down on top of fallow beds and/or to mix into the compost heaps to help the fermentation. It works.

Crowley consumers beware Over the weekend I attempted to…read morepurchase Bobcat attachment from Anthony Armendariz a presentive of Lonestar tile and granite company in Crowley. I drove up from San Antonio to purchase the item and met him at his family's Lonestar Tile and Granite business location on FM-1187 shook hands with everyone and paid the agreed price to directly Anthony Armendariz in cash. There were other people there his uncle, his girlfriend who I had been communicating with and other workers. When I arrived, it was already dark and the item was already hanging from a forklift ready to load. It was late and I was in a hurry to get on the road back to San Antonio, so I quickly loaded the item and left and no point in our communication did anyone ever mention the item missing parts or being not functional. 5 minutes down the road I stopped at QT to fuel up and to check my straps as the items was big and heavy. While checking my straps I noticed the item was missing the main hydraulic control component. I immediately call Anthony Armendariz girl friend who is the persons I had been communication with, and she said that they were not aware that anything was wrong with or missing from the item and said they would be happy to return my money. She also said that there was some parts that possibly went to the piece of equipment at the business and I could go back and look at them. At this point I was pretty sure it was just an honest oversite, and the part would be found at the business, and I would be happy to take it with me and sort it out when I got home but not luck. The missing very important and very expensive part was not able to be found I then communicated this to Anthony Armendariz and his girl friend and they then stopped communicating with me at all. I decided that my best course of action was to unload the item and leave it there and with the hope that these people would do the right thing and return my money. Unfortunately I had to much faith in the honestly of the company and this family and they will not return my calls or messages. I am posting this because this is a family business and if this is how they operate it should be known to community. I am still hopeful that they will do the right thing but we will see and I will up date this if the situation changes.

I would have given 5 stars for the work but the communication was less than stellar…read more I had set up service and then delayed it a week due to personal issues. They were supposed to start work on Monday. I texted Friday, Saturday, and finally Sunday got a reply that the service rep would contact me Monday morning and they would be starting Monday. Monday early afternoon, I contacted the office and, after expressing frustration at lack of communication was told, "If we are treated well, everything will be done by Friday." A worker came out that day and walked around the house--I think more to appease me that they had actually 'started.' They sanded/refinished living room, 3 bedrooms, and hallway. The workers worked quickly and did a thorough job. The work exceeded expectation. Several times they left the front door open and when we opened the back door to let the dogs out, the front door would slam. Although it is apparent that the frame was previously fixed, the frame again cracked. The rep said he would look into it and I never heard from him again. So as far as the work is concerned, I would highly recommend. If you don't mind the rest, go for it.
