Tried to charge me $300 and didn't even get my car out of the snow. He got himself stuck for an hour. Didn't tell me the rate before hand. I'd be careful with this guy. He was mad at me for him getting stuck! Dude you're the professional, not me. Edit: This guy will harass you for giving him a bad review. I had to block his phone number because he was scaring me. Be very careful!

This owner operator has helped us out in a pinch several times. My daughter got stuck In the driveway in a snow bank and he pulled her free and just again the other day when we think her Mercedes ABS sensors failed and her car wouldn't drive he towed her to the German Auto Shop. I was put in contact with Eagle Towing through my insurance company. I scheduled a pick-up time to tow a vehicle back to my house from where I had left it the night before. Meanwhile, as I was moving a car to make room in my driveway for the drop-off, the car i was moving stalled in the middle of my street and would not re-start, nor could I push it out of the street because the electronic transmission wouldn't allow me to put it into neutral unless the car was running. I had to leave it in the street while I went to meet Daut, the tow truck driver. Daut communicated with me several times leading up to the pick-up to update his status for arrival. I meet him at the pick-up and told him about my situation at home. He said he could probably help me get it into neutral. When we arrived home he was able to maneuver his truck to place the car he towed right where I needed it, despite my other car being in the way. He then he spent a fair amount of time helping to get the other car out of neutral and started, but nothing worked. Daut said he needed to go to another pick-up but would come back if I couldn't get the car started and out of the road while he was gone. While he was gone I failed to get the car started and out of the street. True to his word Daut came back and masterfully got my car, which would not roll, out of the street and into my warm garage! It was an impressive feat to watch. I can't say enough good things about Daut and Eagle Towing!! read more

Not all heroes wear capes. On New Year's Day, Daut from Eagle Towing was my hero. At 2AM I found myself on the side of the Glenn Highway with a flat tire. After calling my insurance company and several tow companies I was left with no help. Finally I called Eagle Towing. Daut answered my call immediately and told me he would be there in 20 MINUTES and he had the best price! Not only was he there 20 minutes later but he made me feel safe and comfortable. He taught me how to change the tire and made sure I was safe for my ride home. I was completely satisfied with my service and grateful that I was able to receive help from Daut. read more

5 star for them, I was buying a car and the guy that owned the car wasn't even replying to me by the time ET came, I found it real reasonable and understanding that they waited for me to work things out in order them to get to the tow process, very patient very nice guy. An amazing experience to transport my classic car in Winter. 10 stars if i could. I contacted Eagle Towing who was easy to chat with. Eagle towing was early for their appt in 20 degree weather. Took very special care of my car (using blankets over straps, lumber), took it all the way down to the Port babying the car the entire way. Extremely knowledgable. Uhhhh man.... Idk what to say about this place. They towed my van out of my lot claiming that I…read moredidn't have a permit. But I did have a permit when I parked it. Someone took my permit, whether it was another tennant it them, I can't say. But my lock had been definitely picked by someone. Nothing was taken but the permit, which makes me think the tow company did it when they realized they had taken a legit vehicle. They also popped out my rear bumper and damaged my passenger side wheel well. I KNOW they did it because the passenger mirror was also popped inward which requires a lot of force. The girl at the desk said she would tell the owner, but I doubt anything will come of it. The only positives are that they released the vehicle with no charge because the owner of my building told them they had to. What I found disturbing is they released it with no paperwork, no signature, they didn't even ask for my ID. I think maybe she was just trying to be nice, because they shouldn't have towed my car in the first place. But honestly, they're was something shady about the whole thing.

The plan went sideways fast when one of the trailer tires blew out, the rim hit the road, and I had to limp into the Carr's Quality Center Aurora Village parking lot. A couple of towing companies told me flat-out, "No way, we're not set up to handle a boat." Then I called @Vulcan Towing & Recovery. Without hesitation, they said: "No problem, we'll be right there." Other places had us calling them every day for an opening or waiting until the end of November. L&M got us in in three days. We arrived exactly at 3:00 on Tuesday as the snow is just starting. Whew! Maybe it should have been a warning sign when the tech walked back into the office (35 min into our appointment) and asked how he's supposed to work on a BMW when Honda keys are attached to the work order? That took you a half hour??? The super sweet Christine (who makes a killer cheesy potato soup) quickly found our work order and our 3:00pm job now has a 3:45 start. The car was finished in about an hour, as quoted. Plus, at twenty dollars per tire, it would appear a successful visit, thank you to my friend! Wait! Successful up until we were on the road again, approaching Tudor on "C" street. Wobble, wobble and off comes the left rear tire and lodges sideways under the axle. The freakin' tire came clean off! It's Tuesday, 5:00pm rush on our first seriously ice covered road this season. Now we're staring at the Bear Paw bear on the corner with only three functioning wheels on the ground. But thankfully, no one was hurt. Naturally, we called L&M who called a wrecker and carried us back to the shop. At L&M's expense. Having no loaner vehicles, they then sent us home in a cab. Again, on their dime. The following morning our car was first on the rack and all repairs were made. Once more, no charge. In fact, our initial $80 for tire service was refunded and L&M paid for our return cab ride. I spoke to Michael, the owner, and he confirms that they not only double checked/repaired the problem wheel, but they also rechecked the bonehead's (my term, not his) work on the other three. Tragic in some eyes, irresponsible in the eyes of others, inconvenient in mine. Mistakes are made in this world. I get that. This is one area they are not excusable. Burn my steak and you can always make another and we're all good. A serious accident happens due to neglect on my car, that could've have been a catastrophe. One maybe you don't recover from. To sum up. A huge unacceptable mistake was made. But this group bent over backwards to accommodate. They sent the cavalry to rescue us, secured our safe transport home and back then double checked all the work done to the vehicle. They waived all charges and paid all expenses. Equally as important to me is each of them offered a sincere apology even though only one person botched the job. I normally give local businesses a few chances before totally cutting ties. In my book this is a stand up organization that will get my future business and deserves four stars. 10/22

My husband and I both have jobs that are difficult to get off of during the week. Since KD isn't open during the week, this has been a perpetual challenge. Additionally, we are a single car family and my husband needs the car for his job, so its almost impossible for us to address things that we don't feel are very important. Were we pissed? Absolutely. But it was esthetic, so lesson learned. But KD had promised us free tire changes with the life if the tires due to our purchase of custom rims, so we figured we would cut our losses since 2 changes a year equals over $200 a year. We figured KD was nice and they had earned customers for life with service like that. We liked the idea of buying bougie rims and tires her for our baby. Fast forward to our first seasonal change. Everything went fine. We have the receipt to prove it. But subsequent efforts to schedule a change over proved too challenging due to our work schedules so we stopped going here. Periodically we would call to see if they ever added weekend hours just during the seasonal tire over time, but sadly no. You'd think maybe they would do a Tuesday-Saturday thing or something.... but nope. Anyway, that's not what was the clincher that pissed me off. Finally in 2025 my husband has some seniority at work and is able to get a day off during the week off and drops the car off for the seasonal change over. And when he picks it up they charge him. And when he reminds them about our rims and their policy they refuse to honor it. What makes it worse is he posts his concerns Yelp, he gets a PHONE CALL from KD asking him to retract his review and they don't acknowledge that they every had a policy regarding free mounting and balancing. I call bullshit. I have the damn receipt. You can't put tires on a car without mounting and balancing. That's idiotic. Are you used to dealing with people who have no knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance?!?! I really thought this was one of the few quality vehicles places in town and am very disappointed to learn that is just another bunch of crooks who lie and swindle. There's nothing discount about this place. You want discount, go to Costco or something. I am the kind of person that prefers to support smaller business and pay a little more. But not if I'm gonna get lied to and cheated. Fck that.

Had a most positive experience with Eagle Towing this morning. Needed a jump start and/or a tow. Initially I was told they were busy and it would be a wait which would've been fine. Then he stated that he was nearby and would be over. Daut is an example of what customer service should be. It took some time to figure out the deal with my Sprinter van, but he finally got it going. He was here for longer than a jump start and treated me as if I was his only customer. He then followed me down the road a couple miles to make sure his services were no longer necessary. Eagle Towing is by far the most professional and responsive towing service in the Anchorage area. Daut was friendly, treated my old truck with care and drove me home. Incredible all around service. The phone was picked up on the second ring and Daut was there with the tow truck 10 minutes later. Just got towed today. Awseome service! Guy was really legit, nice, and cheap. I only had to pay a $50 flat rate, no mileage fee. I called around a couple of places, and everyone wanted atleast $100 over including mileage. Guy saved me for sure. read more

Had my grandsons camaro towed from anchorage to wasilla as the clutch was out .They were very prompt / polite an helpful the driver didn't leave until the car was in the garage Very professional id use them anytime needed read more
