I am much leaner, have more flexibility and overall have better posture. I also recently visited my doctor and come to find that I have grown an inch and half from 5' 10.5" to 6'! Her classical pilates method knowledge and instruction was equal or better than many New York City Pilates Studios I have visited over the years. My body was very out of alignment and stressed out from traveling. Erin was intuitive, patient, meticulous about form and very encouraging. I would recommend her highly for private sessions. I felt long, lean and back in alignment by the time I walked out. Too bad I only get to Boise every 5 to 6 years...Erin is a great instructor.

Ashly (not like that--I'm married ), who also happens to be the owner, is fantastic. Her classes are challenging, encouraging, and uplifting all at the same time. I also really enjoyed Katie's Sculpt class. Her music was at a comfortable volume, and her coaching was clear and motivating without her having to yell over the music. As someone who can be sensitive to loud environments, I really appreciated that. Her music selection was on point, and her teaching style kept me motivated from start to finish. I'm looking forward to taking many more classes! I've already completed 5 classes since June 3rd, and they're currently running a fun challenge where the more classes you take, the more chances you have to win. It's a great extra incentive to keep showing up! The studio itself is kept super clean, which I always appreciate. They also have two showers stocked with big fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They even provide hair ties, Q-tips, and plastic bags for your sweaty clothes--because trust me, you will sweat! The only thing you'll need to bring is your own body lotion and face products . And if you're on the fence, their intro offer is only $30 for a week of unlimited classes. Considering a single class is normally $25, it's a no-brainer. Challenge yourself! It's you vs. you. Commit to the week and see what happens--I have a feeling you'll love it as much as I do.

First things first--I don't think I had a clue as to what pilates actually is until my first visit…read moreto Sara at Reforming Every Body. I thought I did. But, no...no clue at all. First of all? It's not all matwork. Meaning, I had been under the impression that pilates was much like yoga--a workout/stretch based exercise done on a yoga matt. I had the vague impression that there was more calisthenics involved but that basically, it was much like yoga. So, when Sara leads me up to their loft inside A-Train Fitness and directs me to their reformer (a spring resistance based apparatus with sliding platform unlike any other workout machine/apparatus I'd ever encountered), I was surprised. The reformer is created to give users a precise workout, targeting specific muscle groups to promote core strength, flexibility, and good alignment--all while protecting your back. It's amazing the number of exercises one can do on this simple apparatus. You may do one exercise laying on your back working your legs and abs--and then one minor adjustment and you're propped on a box on your tummy engaging the deep muscles of your core while working your triceps--and then the box is removed and your standing on the thing working stabilizing muscles and your inner thigh muscles. It's challenging and has left me with sore muscles in my core and legs that few workouts ever even activate. During my workouts, I've also used the Cadillac (a large table like apparatus that is equipped with arm and leg springs) as well as their pilates chair. All of my workouts have been done under the careful tutelage of Sara John who is certified in pilates apparatus as well as matwork pilates. She is always so helpful with my form and it's so amazing to me how one minor adjustment in my form can suddenly bring the desired muscle work into sharp focus. Their space is intimate but they keep their classes small (the largest class is capped at 7 participants) as well as doing private sessions. Four private sessions are required in order to participate in the group classes. The private sessions are a bit on the spendy side--but now having done them, I can see the value of the initial investment. From there, you can either continue on with private lessons, opt for semi-private (where you can workout with 1 or 2 friends), or do their group classes (with 5-7 participants). Their group classes are much smaller than other places (which is nice!) but aren't priced any higher (which is also nice!). I'm so glad to have begun my journey in pilates. I tend to be someone who likes to participate in varying workout types, which I will likely continue to do--but pilates at Reforming Every Body is one I will come back to again and again. Get to it!

With a lot of effort and knowledge, I am better off now than I was 10 years ago I credit Luke, and Andrew with helping me regain my ability to pursue my passions There would be impossible for me to give any PT entity, a higher recommendation It is unlike any other PT facility in that it is more like a super high-end gym. The PT experience goes beyond just rehab and really gets into stages that take you beyond what you would've thought was full recovery.

I thought when joints (like my elbow) go bad, they just go bad and that's part of aging…read more Nope. Luke Phillips saw me about pain in my elbow that I'd had for MONTHS. Lifting and sports sucked. I'd like to think I'm knowledgeable enough to find my on answers to fix these things on my own, like I have in the past, but this was serious and it was only getting worse. After just one simple evaluation and Luke had the tool and the exercise that bright balance and ultimate healing to by stiff AF elbow. I had been working out a lot and created in imbalance which caused the tendons and ligaments to inflame. Luke showed me this simple rubber thing that when I would bend it with my arms certain in a specific position that works other muscles that were opposite to what muscles I usually overworked. That simple balancing of agonist and antagonist muscles made my pain gone, and function returned before the week as over. Very competent PT help at this place. They gave a small amount of homework and it brought balance that let my tendons and ligaments not be so strained, imbalanced and angry. Don't suffer with injuries thinking they're age-related or that you just don't have it in you anymore. The human body is amazing and Luke proved that. I just needed little help. Suzette is a fabulous instructor…read more Because she doesn't do the exercises with the students, she is able to observe and give gentle corrections to form and technique so each participant gets the full benefit of the class. One of the best features is Grasshoppers' 10 for 10 class. It is a 30 minute classical Pilates class from 12:15-12:45 Wed.-Fri. It's easy to get a great workout during the lunch hour. And if you think 30 minutes is too short for a class, you should give it a try. I've been going for a couple months and I've noticed a huge difference in my strength and flexibility. Grasshoppers is a beautifully furnished, state of the art studio in Hyde Park with all the bells and whistles but also with a small, intimate feel.
