Instead of getting a "hello" or anything remotely decent, the FIRST thing the lady rang me up said, "I'm going to need to see I.D. and your friends too." Talk about RUDE! Yes, I barely look 21, as do most young adults, but a simple "hey, I'm going to need to see yours and your friend's I.D." would've been perfectly fine with us. I wasn't resisting showing my I.D. or anything, but basic customer service goes a long way regardless of what age your customers look like, and we were the only ones in the store. Do better.

This time it was a Puerto Rican silver rum called Castillo. Really smooth, even straight out of the bottle! Bacardi has the name in the states, but Castillo and Don Q are the rums you'll see people drinking in Puerto Rico! Stay away though from Palo Viejo, which means "old stick"! You're better off sucking on an old stick soaked in turpentine than drinking this stuff! Prices are reasonable as well. Maybe the tax on liquor is lower than in NJ! Next time when you're in Pennsylvania, check out a liquor store!

The current manager (a woman I would say who looks at least 50 years old with long hair) actually told me today that I am screwing up the order of the bottles, which has nothing to do with me because there is one flavor of one item I purchase and I had to laugh, thankfully with a mask over my face, because I asked her what she meant and the area she pointed to was past the flavor I buy / within one of the 5 of so other flavors I either dislike (and have not purchased since last year!!) or flavors that I don't generally like (like mango). So very ironically, every single bottle of the flavor that I purchased was lined up correctly and that is because I am one of those crazy people who make sure everything I touch at a store or see out of order in a store is in order. However, to give the possible benefit of the doubt, I told her that the problem that she is because of me is that is some of the bottles are filled all the way to the top and some of them are not even filled to the neck, and after I told her that all she said to me was "well they fill them that way at the location." Like thank you I believe my IQ is probably twice what yours is, but yes, thank you? I should've asked her where the location was! Especially because after I very carefully put all the bottles back in order, she stood there and watched me the entire time to make sure I had put the bottles back. First and foremost, I am not paying full purchase price for less than a regular bottle and I proceeded to go through every bottle and put it right back as I always do with her standing and watching over me. Now keep in mind most of the former employees and the ONE left know very well that I go out of my way to put things that I haven't even been looking at back on the shelves where they belong and to take shopping carts from the parking lot back into the store. This horrible "manager" can stand there and watch me all day, but I am not buying a bottle that is filled below the neck! Further, everyone else they have hired, except for one girl is as rude if not more rude than this. I would not go if it is after noon on a weekday or any day on the weekend. I guess this person (individual is going much too far!) is going to have to stay and watch somebody else because I will be going to different locations from now on which is a shame bc I loved the people who worked here before and it is a convenient location. However, to anyone who has gotten this far in the review, please know that my experiences with other employees and managers at other locations have been nothing but amazing. Just pick a different location if you want SERVICE - and, P.S., I'm not being paid to put things back in order anyway, but somebody there is because that's what all she does all day, every day I have been in! Just saying.
