I love Eagles, and think that it's undoubtably the best beach shop in Pawleys! They have a great selection of apparel, to include shirts, hats, sunglasses, etc., which are unique to the point that you can find something for anybody's taste and style. In addition to their apparel, they have almost any beach or Litchfield/Pawleys themed knick-knack that you can think of! This includes kites, balls, figurines, home decor, stuffed animals, bracelets, fans, towels, glasses, etc. (I could go on for hours.) And... the hermit crabs! Even though I've kind of outgrown the desire to buy a hermit crab, I used to love looking at their selection of hermit crabs and shells to go along with them. All-in-all, I love Eagles, and reiterate that it's the best beach shop in Litchfield/Pawleys! read more

This is my go to beach shop. Away from the press and out towards pawleys island. Service is good. Shop is smaller and well enough stocked.

This beach store is both nostalgic and modern beach kitsch. They have everything from Noah sunblock to high end Sun Bum sunblock. Every beach essential under the sun-coverups, bathing suits, hats, sandles galore. They have beach chairs, toys, surfboards and even hermit crabs. Lots of souvenirs as well as anything you may have forgotten. Definitely a one stop shop! read more

Bought a float here and it was huge. (Pink flamingo) Not only did they pump it up for me for free, they went the extra mile. We took it out to my mini van and it couldn't fit in the back due to the size. We strapped it to the top, they gave me some rope, helped me tie it to the rack on top. All they asked was I bring the rope back. No Problem! I suggest coming here for any beach necessities for the prices and the customer service! read more

Prices are resonable. They have very cute stuff. The staff are teenage girls so they aren't that much help, but are nice....

The first thing you see when you arrive are beach blankets from university sports teams hanging in front of the windows. Typical red-neckish/tourist place. This store is a mix between a head-shop, souvenir, novelty, toys, hippie gear, beach gear and beach accessories joint-this place has everything! It kinda feels like Myrtle Beach puked a little in here. read more

The store has a great selection however, the cashiers couldn't compute simple math percentages to figure out our total after giving them a 20% off coupon. The young cashier became flustered after we gave her the coupon. She pressed the cash out button which resulted in the transaction ending. She went to the older lady for help. She wasn't much help. Our total was $70.55. Depending on the store policy, she could have simply taken 20% off of the subtotal or final total. She did neither. She kept talking about how the drawer was going to be short. She randomly offered me $10 and some change off of the total. I asked if she calculated that before or after taxes(either way, her amount was wrong). She kept saying, "I'm just trying to be fair." Not sure what that meant. As to not cause her further embarrassment, I just said ok and finished the transaction. My new total was $59.85. I gave her 3 $20 bills. She proceeded to give me back $1.15. I kindly let her know she only needed to give me 15 cents. As an educator, I'm so disappointed in the decline in mathematical ability. But what was even more frustrating was that neither cashier even attempted to pull out a calculator.
