Generally I like Torey's but the last few times their service has been lacking. The most recent time I went was because their facebook said they had a seafood night when I went I was told they didn't have any crab, shrimp, or salmon. There is a clear disconnect in communication as a whole with Torey's. (Or they just lie about having crab)

A long table, plush bench seating with small tables, high top tables, comfy chairs with tables, and a bar area make up the varied seating options. There was a piano player that was excellent, played lots of songs we knew and some beautiful tunes we hadn't heard before. Not too loud or too soft. The sound was very good, considering this is a long narrow building with hard surfaces. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, smiling, efficient. We ordered a veggie and hummus platter and a charcuterie plate with our wine. Both were okay, about what you'd expect. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. We will definitely come back again, the place was hopping and it's really fun to have a new wine bar in downtown Owatonna!

I've eaten lunch here a few times and I really don't have any problems with the food. I've had their pizza before and I was impressed. Good ingredients and a quality thin crust. On my most recent visit I had a ham and swiss panini with fries. The taste of the panini was fine but I thought there could have been more ham. The fries were very good. Just enough crispiness and mildly seasoned. Unfortunately the thing I remember most from each visit is sub-par service. My server was very nice but didn't know what beers they had on tap. When I was done eating I waited at least five minutes to get the bill and this was the first time I'd been approached since my food was delivered. In her defense, she was probably new and over-worked. She was the only one I saw doing anything. The prices were standard. The food is good but not great. My overall impression is that it's adequate.
