We ordered duck wonton which everyone love and would recommend and drck wings. Wings had good flavor but skin was not crisp at all. We all ordered a variety of entrees all thought the tasted pretty good. Dessert was ordered. The biggest hit was the banana cake that we all tasted and one said he would make the hr + drive just for this. It is worth a stop if in the area, differently better than the normal chain restaurants that dot the interstate. Stopped by for a quick lunch. My boyfriend got a burger (can't remember the exact name) and I got chicken tenders (my go to!). The fries were delicious!!! My boyfriend enjoyed his burger and my chicken tenders were okay. Temperature wise food came out nice and hot! Service was good. read more

We visited on a Tuesday night, group of 5 for a business dinner. We were seated immediately and provided waters while the rest of our party arrived. Our server was Tessa and she was the ultimate professional. She answered all of our questions and I have a garlic allergy and she made sure to ask the kitchen what I can and cannot have. I also asked for an IPA on tap and they just ran out so they poured a sample for me to try. They have Moose Drool on tap which is one of my all time favorites. The food was really good. I had the walleye. It came with a large garden salad and a perfectly cooked baked potato. Others in my party got the pork chop and the steak. The prices are good and the service was excellent. We support local businesses however when you get greedy and start charging for ice! Come on $1.75 to put a $20 pour of top shelf liquor on ice. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!!! We have eaten here for several years and just paid the bill and tipped well. It was not until the other week I just happened to glance at the bill and seen ice charges for all our drinks!!! Felt the midday munchies coming on so we said let's do happy hour at Torey's! Service is always EXCELLENT at the bar and I absolutely loved the duck bacon wontons and french onion soup! Their whiskey and tap selection is super impressive and today, my husband and I both enjoyed a cold pint with our food. The grand finale was Josh made me a delicious mint chocolate martini that was my liquid dessert. Torey also frequently gets in Hawaiian seafood as well so if you're a fan of snapper, ahi, or marlin, I definitely have to recommend this gem in Owatonna to satisfy that craving. This is our favorite spot in town whether we're doing apps and a few drinks, grabbing to-go sandwiches at lunch, or sitting down for a big family dinner! What so enjoyed our dinner on New Year's Eve Dec 31, 2025. Our server, April was exceptional!!!

I went to eat on 12/15 @ 12pm. Grace B was the waitress. Very attentive needs to smile a lil more but very good. I had chicken Alfredo.. sauce was amazing but chicken tasted reheated, i found 2 small bones and a BIG knuckle bone(sup to be chicken) yes i did show to waitress, didnt ask if i wanted it remade.. no i didnt ask. Noodles needed a tad more cooking. Lunch menu was a lil limited on choices. Had to pay xtra for broccoli and chicken so $40 for 2 lunches and we had water. Will i come back.. prob not. read more

Returned almost a year later and brought the kids this time! Tried the shrimp cocktail, walleye fingers and artichoke dip as appetizers. All we're great! Allocated bourbon list is no joke. Main courses were filet, ribeye, tortellini, chicken tenders and double decker burger. All were amazing except the burger which was over cooked. Small minus to another great experience!! read more

Torey's really does have something for everyone price point. Their French dip a value and high quality. I went for lunch and ordered the salmon because I don't like cooking it for myself. It was perfectly seasoned, it didn't need a sprinkle of salt or pepper. The French fries were my choice of potato, super crunchy and yet fluffy (again, perfectly seasoned). I loved the salmon so much that I brought my ass back a week later to order the double portion! Honestly that was a little too much for me, but I powered through because I'm not reheating salmon at home. Excellent experience, will be going back for sure. read more

Came here for Mother's Day after reading the great reviews. It was a disappointment overall. We came for a family dinner but it was so loud we were unable to hear eachother. Our waitress was very rude and bossy. We weren't sure if we want an appetizer and she TOLD US we will order two appetizers to start out with. She acted as if part of our group as she was bossing us around. We ended up getting two appetizers which were both $15 each. For $15, we should get more than 5 small wontons. Food was mediocre but overpriced for the portion. My salad was suppose to be a raspberry salad but they forgot half the ingredients listed on the menu description. For dessert, we ordered two slices of cake. Again the the waitress was bossy and told us she is bringing out three slices just in case someone else wanted a piece. Very weird considering we are the ones paying but she is choosing. read more

The salmon dish was good but the Irish cream cheesecake was v memorable. The water glass is worthy of 3 stars as it's plastic and very average for such a nice establishment. A Toreys branded water GLASS would be ideal considering how nice the meals are. But aye, what do I know! I just review places based on their water glasses. read more

Great food and fun atmosphere. An awesome banquet room on the second floor to host banquets. We had the MRPA annual meeting here and it was much better than anticipated. We were from out of town and enjoyed visiting. They had friendly and attentive service. The variety of food was excellent. We loved them all. The presentation of the food was beautiful and modern. This was my first time visiting Torey's. I ordered the half rack of ribs with Au gratin potatoes. My wife ordered a burger & fries, along with a bowl of French onion soup. The French onion soup was absolutely delicious! Her burger was cooked to a perfect medium, as requested. If I remember correctly, I believe the burgers were 1/2 pound. My rack of ribs was large. The ribs were tender. I enjoyed the bbq sauce that was used on them. I was very impressed with the portions of food. I thought the restaurant was priced great. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch before camping all weekend. Inside the bar was nice and clean. We popped up at the bar, each got soup and we split a rueben. Soup was potato broccoli, on point. The rueben was also super tasty. Service was great, bartender was friendly. Oh and my Moscow mule hit the spot. Small town, not very many high rated options. This was my first time here since their move to the downtown location. The look is fresh and new, but it has a similar feel to the old location. The lunch menu seems to have something to suit any taste. The server was friendly and helpful. I had the Sausage and Egg sandwich and a Bloody Mary. The sandwich had fried andouille sausage segments with melted provolone and an egg fried to your choosing. It was very good. The egg balanced out the strong flavor of the sausage. The Bloody Mary was also much better than average. I'll be back soon. read more

We recently celebrated my daughter's bridal shower with a breakfast brunch in the private ballroom on the 2nd floor. It was the perfect location for family and friends to gather and celebrate with the Bride-To-Be. The ambiance was perfect. The food was delicious and concious of any food allergies of our guests! The food display was beautiful and the serving staff was excellent. I cannot thank Torey and his staff enough for making it a perfect day for my daughter. Met the family at Toreys today for Mothers Day Brunch. I brought flowers to decorate the table for Mother in Law and Sister in Law as I heard they do not decorate for this occasion I didn't eat as the only food was the buffet and being a vegetarian. There were not enough options to justify the cost of the buffet. The "breakfast" portion of the brunch consisted of eggs sausage bacon and fruit There was very thin French toast as well. That was it. No bagels muffins bread other than a dinner roll. When the manager realized that I couldn't eat he said "we do not have a menu today to order off of" didn't offer anything not even toast. The reason it was upsetting is because I specifically called asking if there would be enough options for someone not eating meat. There was a pasta and salad but again I wouldn't want to pay the buffet price for that. The option wasn't offered up. The family said the food was good for what it was. As we're were getting close to wrapping up, the waitress actually said " not to rush you but the next party is here and we need the table" while were taking. We were there about an hour and half at this point. The waitress made some other comments that made us wonder "is she kidding or serious" and they added gratuity. I always think that a buffet tip verses a served meal should be at the customers discretion. Not that we wouldn't have tipped. I'm a good tipper I wouldn't ever go again. I do not know if it's the type of place that the whole town has been frequenting forever, as they were busy but, definitely not something I would recommend. read more

The service was great. The restaurant is updated and nice. The food? I ordered a Classic Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The greens were limp, completely lifeless, and the chicken was refrigerator cold, overcooked, and tasteless. There was zero evidence that 1) it was grilled, 2) it was remotely fresh, and 3) that it had any seasoning whatsoever. The salad was edible and I finished it without complaint, but I didn't enjoy it. It was my first, and likely last, dining experience in this establishment. But again, the service was great. Thank you for that. read more
