I made multiple payments throughout the year and trusted that everything was set. Just two and a half weeks before the event, I received a text message from the owner saying he had accidentally double booked my date and was asking if I could move the event to another day. I was completely shocked and devastated. I have family traveling from Mexico and Los Angeles, and I've already paid for the caterer, DJ, decorator, cake, and photographer. When you plan an event like this almost a year in advance, it's not something you can just change last minute. He offered to refund my money or try to find another venue, but how could I trust him again after such a huge mistake? I had no choice but to start over and look for another place, which means paying extra fees, delivery charges, and the inconvenience of relocating everything to Gilroy. Because of this, my daughter will no longer have her church ceremony, and that breaks my heart. This experience has been stressful, costly, and deeply disappointing. I do not recommend doing business with this person or this venue. They were unprofessional, careless, and completely unreliable with something so important. He doesn't even deserve the 1 star !!!

My package included the Photobooth option but I declined so I could purchase on my own, unfortunately I wasn't successful in securing a Photobooth. I got a reply within a couple of minutes that it was not a problem and would be provided. A lot of stress was lifted off my shoulders thanks to the Regal Event Venue. The venues restrooms were very clean and as my teen described as aesthetically pleasing. My favorite part of the venue were the chairs!!!! They made my party look more elegant. Our event was a sweet 16 and the head count was a 120 people. I will say Karen was so helpful and attentive to our needs through text. A lot of my guest reached out to me the next day stating they weren't able to secure their photos and I reached out to Karen directly and she provided me with the entire album of my guest from the Photobooth. I liked that there was room between the dance floor area and bar to allow guests to mingle easily. Our event didn't include hot food, but I visited the prep area and it was clearly large enough for a caterer to stage whatever is needed (ie, lots of stainless countertops and sinks). Not sure if the food was catered or was made from the event kitchen. There is also a separate house across the lane that can be rented and utilized for the wedding party.
