I'm not familiar with the rest of the area, but this placed seemed nice and safe. Let's go to the trusty default three star Yelp gas station review check list: Good price? Hell I don't remember because it was a month ago but it's in DeBellaware so guaranteed it was a lot cheaper than how I'm getting hosed at home. In all honesty it was around $2.20 at the time which was then and still is now around thirty cents less per gallon. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? Nope, everything was hunky dory with the slight exception that this place apparently gets really busy and that does create a real PIA situation getting on and off the property. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Easy as easy can be getting on/off of Route 1. RIght at exit 156/156A. Human intervention needed? Oh, Hell No! I was starving when we stopped here for a bathroom break. I ordered a veggie sub that included cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, Chesapeake seasoning and sauce, mayo, and garlic aioli. I ordered extra sides of garlic aioli and Chesapeake sauce. The fries looked good so I ordered those as well because they were wedges. It has been a while since I had that style. The food was ready by the time I left the bathroom. I grabbed the food, paid for it on a kiosk, and went back to the car to eat. Hubs went to use the restroom and grab a coffee. When I started to go through the bag, I realized no sauces were in the bag and sandwich looked less appealing than a prison sandwich. Hubs went back in for me to get the sauces and I was given ranch instead of garlic aioli but the Chesapeake sauce was correct. The food was just not worth the price or the carbs. I was no longer hungry but also still craving an empty satisfaction. This was the first place we came across after driving for a while with no civilization in sight. Next time, I will be searching for other options if I am in the same predicament. Maybe I went on an off day or maybe they are known for other foods. They are similar to the concept of Wawa but nowhere near the quality.

I remember getting off work late and I was getting some gas. I walked in and the Cashier had some…read morevisitors from people he knew from a wedding that happened as he was talking to them and I was waiting to pay for my gas. So when it was my turn I paid for my things and left. I walked outside and saw the group talking and two of the girls looked at me then talked among themselves and one of the girls said "Does this look like a black girl's comb?" then turned to each other and laugh. The girl was obviously white and I am black with dreadlocks like I need a comb. I could have reacted in a way that wouldn't have had a good turn out but after a 16-hour shift I wanted to go home quick. So knowing that this store has racist employees that has their racist family come by and harass the customers. I will not be returning as this place was a normal pit stop I would rather wait til I get to the Valero and spend a few extra dollars NO PROBLEM.
