I am aware that most doctor office experiences are unpleasant and very untimely; however, this practice was more untimely than any medical experience I have had. The receptionist was unpleasant from the time I walked in the door, I waited an hour and a half, yes NINETY MINUTES, from the time I walked in to be seen. Although the 90 minute wait is 100% unacceptable, after the wait, I met with Dr. Deutsch who was very knowledgeable and personable and informed me of everything I needed to know. Came for help, saw what appeared to be unclean, not sterilized tools, and what seemed to be rust on some. Do not come here for any actual help. While staff was polite, they did nothing at all to help, nor did the doctor. If you have chronic issues, don't bother. Will not come back. read more

I moved mountains for this appointment for an issue that has been troubling me for almost a year. I made a mistake in the way to the appointment and put in the wrong address. I was on time, ut wrong location. When I called to tell office I'd be about 20 minutes late and I was really sorry, they told me they had to reschedule because they have no grace period. Furthermore, they told me that it was the doctor (Shroyer) who made the decision. The lack of grace period was never mentioned in any of my interactions. I live an hour away and had to take a half day and find someone to cover me at work to get this appointment. I will find someone else before I go back to this practice. read more

My son has been a patient of ENT Ltd. on and off for years. We've only seen Dr. Shroyer. He is really good with kids and how he talks to kids to make them feel so calm. We had to see Dr. Shroyer again last week and learned that they had move their Norfolk Kempsville road office to a bigger and remodel suite in the same building. It is spacious and very clean. They are take extra precautions to ensure patient safety against Covid. Both the office staff and clinical staff are very sweet. I highly recommend this medical group for your ear, nose and throat medical needs. Service and medical delivery has consistently been too notch. read more

I was kept waiting for quite some time - which was really annoying to me. When I talked to the gal's on the phone making the appointment they informed me that I needed to show up approx. 30 minutes or so early in order to have time to complete the paperwork. What ended up happening is when they told me to show up was not my actual appointment time - it was them telling me to show up with the 30 minutes already added. So because I didn't know that - I added 30 minutes onto that and showed up almost a full hour early. After waiting 45 minutes I was getting mad and asked the gal up front wth was going on and was told my appointment wasn't until 2:15 when I had arrived around 1:15-1:20. So I was pretty miffed. The gal who called me back and took my vitals before I saw the doctor was polite and friendly, she was sympathetic when I explained my frustration and said she'd be sure to say something because I wasn't the first who said this. I saw Dr. Roche who was very friendly and personable. He was easy-going on his entry, shaking my hand and introducing himself and sitting down to chat with me about why I was there and what my concerns were. He offered a solution to my problem - a small growth in my nose - and listened carefully to my concerns and answered all my questions. We even talked about my concern with having something cut out of my face because of a recent disastrous mole removal which he looked at on my leg when I mentioned it. I really liked him and found him to be very affable. I did not feel rushed at any point during the visit and will certainly go back to either have this removed - or if something else arises that needs ENT attention. Aside from the scheduling snafu they are forgiven and Dr. Roche is great. read more

I would rate the doctor 0/5, but since the review is on the practice, I am going to be very fair and open minded, as my poor experience was based on the doctor rather than the practice itself. I went in as a new patient to David Dorofi. (This was a referral from another doctor.) He spent a max of 5 minutes in the exam room with me. He didn't ask for much of a back story. He shined a light in my ears, nose and throat and that was it. He dismissed all symptoms that I was explaining and I could tell he didn't want to work with me. He suggested I see someone else because he "couldn't help me". He left out the office abruptly, apparently my visit was over, but he didn't say anything. The lack of emotional intelligence, people skills and ability to be personable in a doctor was extremely disappointing. I waited in that exam room with the door open for 5 minutes, hoping he may come back, he never did. I left knowing nothing more than when I came in. I honestly didn't even know the doctor's name until the nurse told me. The front desk staff and nurses were helpful and responsive when I had a sub-par experience. The apologized for the "treatment" that I received and were extremely friendly. I hope that I find a new ENT soon. read more

I can't say enough great things about ENT Ltd. My son, who is autistic, was scheduled to get fitted for hearing aids for the first time. Nancy went above and beyond to make him comfortable and let him know what was going on every step of the way. She really listened to him and even called multiple people to find him the perfect hearing aid (he wanted one in 4 different colors lol). We've never experienced such compassion from a medical professional before today. Every part of our visit was timely, comfortable, and easy. I wish all of his appointments were like this! I went here for the first time this past Friday. As a new patient, I was expecting a lengthy new-patient process; however, it was quick and painless. The male nurse (forgive me as I don't remember his name) is retired air force and has SO much personality. Although I'm 29, I was still nervous about what was to be done. However, this nurse had a way of removing all of my anxiety. He made jokes, asked questions about my professional life, and eased my financial fears about being self-pay. I had already paid $150 just to see the physician, and, well, as a nursing student and part-timer, I was concerned about the procedures the physician may choose to perform. But, this nurse just carried on with his jokes and made me feel so at ease. I saw Dr. Roche. He was incredible. I'm assuming my fears had been shared with him because he immediately asked where I was attending school. When he told me what he'd be performing (which I had done over 20 years ago and remember it being horrific), my response led him to say that I was acting like a 12-yr old. I was, really. His humor and whole approach relaxed me. He was quick, efficient, professional, and very nice. And shockingly enough, it was relatively painless! When I left to check out, I was credited most of my money back. I still am shocked at how much I was charged for an outpatient procedure that even with insurance, is quite expensive. It's clear that they are in this practice for the right reasons and have their patients' best interest in mind. I know that I was charged what I was because I was self-pay and in school, and it was clear that they kept this in mind. Or at least that's what I believe to be true. I will certainly be going back. The staff are beyond friendly and the whole atmosphere is amazing. I was in and out, as a new patient and having a procedure done, in one hour and fifteen minutes. I HIGHLY suggest them. read more

If you believe you have something wrong or are concerned and you would like to find out, this is not the place. Went in and actually had to ask that a biopsy be done after he told me he didn't know what it was. I did not hear about pathology report... about 2 weeks go by and I called to check. Only option is to leave a message for the nurse... okay, left a message and nothing, I called again and instead of leaving a message I spoke with the front desk who took my information, leaves me on hold and then finally came back and said that the Dr. would be calling me back he was in surgery all morning.... Guess what??? No call again, no message. Called again and asked for a return call 48 hours later I called AGAIN, and was sent to medical records so I could request a copy of my pathology report... Days and Days and they can just let you hold your breath... Do not depend on a group that says Ltd... I think that is for very LimiTeD service. You cannot use their site either, try to log in or do a survey and they keep you from doing so! read more

The Doctor is very nice and kind. He did my daughter tubes in her ears. The ladies at the front desk are very nice. I really like the one that my daughter go to her I think her brother's wife for her family doc. I gave them a one because i been taking my daughter there for two years. I missed one appoiment because i did not receive a reminder call. they always schudele her follow up appointments at her current appointmet. follow up always 3 months in the future. I received a phone call from their voice system saying I missed her appointment on July 25th on July 26th. I called right away and told them I never received a reminder call. I explained we never miss any of her doctor appointments and she have 3 different doctors. if I had received a reminder call she would of been there like the last past 2 years. They told me I still had to pay a $50 no show fee. I think that is very money hungry if I never missed an appointment and I never received a call. I even pulled my cell phone record call list I have no calls from them! If they can't wave a fee for their mistake that show they do not really care about their patients. There are more doctors.
