They called after eight weeks to schedule my surgery for another three week wait. Let the scheduler know need to sooner. She scheduled pre-order for Monday at 2:40, surgery on Wednesday. After their office is close on Friday, I get email changing appointment to 4:40. No phone call to see if I'm available, I'm not. Left phone call to cancel pre-op, surgery, and post-op. Can't deal with people like this! Three appointment never met the doctor.

I am not one to write reviews but I feel like my experience warrants this. I was referred to Dr…read more Caspary by an urgent care center in Panama City for a potential abscess behind my ear. After arriving at the office and being told they had no record of the appointment, I pleaded with the receptionist to allow me to see a doctor due to the size and area of the abscess. They were able to get me in. Dr. Caspary said he thought it may be Masitioditis (which can be life-threatening) and that I would need to come back the following day for a CT Scan that would be done in office. I am currently traveling and the office was outside my insurance network so I had been paying upfront. The office said they would call me the next day and let me know the price of the CT Scan. They gave me the price of the CT Scan and scheduled the appointment. Since they mentioned it would be done in office, I had assumed they would also read it in office. When they did not read the CT and sent me home (the abscess has not gone down, there were no additional antibiotics given) I went back in and pleaded again to the receptionist that I would like to see the doctor, that I did not know what to do, and was afraid. At this point, it was suggested I consider going to the ER or make arrangements to go to the ER. Dr. Caspary did not come in the room and instead sent his medical assistant. I ran home to grab a bag for the ER, I lose hearing in my ear and it begins draining. I rush to the ER. I call Dr. Caspary's office at 4:45 to request that the CT Scan be sent to the ER knowing they will need them. The answering service says they cannot connect me to the office. I hang up. Once I arrived at the ER, they immediately took me back, started new rounds of antibiotics, run additional CT Scans, flushed the ear and made me feel safe. Dr. Caspary's office did not follow up with me until days later (after I had already called their office to schedule the follow up). During follow up with Dr. Caspary's office, I let him personally know that I felt the care I was given was less than acceptable. His response was to the effect of, "yeah, I don't know." At this point, all I want to do is make sure I am okay and leave the office. I will say Dr. Caspary did seem more concerned after this and gave me great care from this point on. After my last appointment, I spoke with the office manager who apologized for my experience. I felt that since I was self-pay and had to have the imaging redone - that I should have my money refunded for the CT scan that was done in office. She said she would get back to me and did not. This was at the end of May. I am fine now and continued about my life and had decided to just move on. Then I received a bill from a radiologist for $1200. The office never informed me that they would be sending the radiology report out - just that it would be done in office. The also never disclosed I would be charged separately for this. When I called to find out why, I was told this is normal and that there was nothing they could do. The care I was given at Dr. Caspary's office of Head & Neck Associates of Bay County was neglectful, unfair, and unacceptable. I sincerely hope no one else ever has to go through this type of experience.

Northwest Florida Surgery Center is the best surgery center in Northwest Florida Hands Down.

I even underwent two surgeries. After moving to Florida, I was extremely hesitant to switch providers, so for years I continued traveling over 8 hours back to Georgia for appointments. Because of that history, I was initially unsure about seeing a PA instead of an MD. But Jonathan Needler exceeded every expectation I had -- and then some. Jonathan's attention to patients is truly exceptional. He listens fully, without interrupting, and takes the time to understand every detail before offering thoughtful, knowledgeable guidance. What impressed me most is that he was able to answer several questions that specialists in Georgia -- MDs -- could not answer. More than once, I heard "I have no idea" from previous doctors, yet Jonathan immediately understood the issues and provided clear explanations and helpful suggestions. I am genuinely grateful that I scheduled a visit with him. My only regret is not doing it sooner. I spent four years traveling long distances to see specialists, when right here in Florida I could have been treated by someone far more attentive, informed, and effective. In the middle of the night I woke up with the feeling that I had my ear plugged. An extended family…read moremember experienced the rare sudden hearing loss in her 30s and so I am super sensitive to this. Also, I experience a loud noise a couple nights ago and was worried I could have had loss of hearing from that. All of that led me to look on my insurance app for an ENT provider and found them. I gave them a call at 8:30am on a Friday and they were fully booked. I explained my situation and they were super kind by fitting me in. They took a look and it appeared that there was compacted wax blocking the ear. To rule out anything else did a hearing test. Overall, just appreciate the quickness in getting me in on a Friday which was a short day for them.
