I asked her again and emphasized on if we could both get a cleaning.. she said yes again! My husband was at 8 and I was at 9:30am... We were late 5 min We never got a reminder/email/call for this appointment.. thank goodness I put it in my calendar. We also were never told to arrive early. The receptionist is a liar... Or just has really bad brain fog/memory issues. She denied the whole thing and was extremely rude! I have never been treated this way from a dental office. Ever. I have been to a few as I have many dentists in my family in my home state. Why would I ask my husband to take off work for an X-ray one day and a teeth cleaning another day.? I wouldn't.. I would have just gone to another place! I do not recommend this place.. the receptionist is a ugly/ nasty person. The bad reviews you read about this place are probably True.

I am a person who asks questions and like to know all the options. This was a 2nd opinion appointment, due to a less than great appointment with another dentist in the area. I listen to the dentist treatment plan, and I ask questions and want to know all the different options for fixing a problem. I do this in order to plan the best option for my family, especially if this is our 1st time meeting this staff. My son wasn't even seen by the dentist, we were dismissed by the hygienist, and whispered about by the front staff ... right in front of us.

He responds oh we don't do that and I said ok, I understand, well could you give me a second because needles really give me anxiety... I've been this way since I was a kid. I get bad anxiety when getting the flu vaccine, when I get IVs, and when I get blood drawn. Every time I say this to other doctors, they are understanding and give me a moment to collect myself. I did not get that with Dr. Windham. Instead he rudely asked how old I am and I responded with my age and he then told me that I am old enough to make life decisions and that "we can do it here or go somewhere else that is going to be more expensive (money isn't an issue), I really don't care" I said I am going to do it but I just need a moment to get over the needle. It doesn't take me that long, maybe a minute or two. He said well you have ten seconds to decide, saying you're ___ years old you can make the decision. I again said, that I am but I just need a moment. He says "no, you can go" storms out of the room like a 13 year old boy, leaving with me confused and crying because I am so upset that a "Doctor" would treat their patient like this. He lacks compassion and empathy, the characteristics a real doctor would have in his profession. I have had this same procedure elsewhere, stated the same problem and they gave me the time that I need and we completed my procedure with no problem. He is extremely unprofessional and claims to be a man of God but I do not know a man of God AND doctor who does not know how to have compassion for others. I would not recommend.
