Already stuffed from a late lunch, the fiancé and I split the fried chick'n sandwich with mac & cheese (with added hot sauce, of course) and our tastebuds were blown away. Not only was the flavor on point, but so was the texture. Not even exaggerating, idc if you're a meat loving omni, you need to try the food if you ever come across this bus. Definitely hope to find the bus again when I'm in town again next year. Thanks for making the extra trip worth it!

My biggest problem with Veggie Thumper? It isn't closer!…read more In effort support Black & minority-owned businesses, I've be stretching out of normal zone to try new and intriguing places. Veggie Thumper fits that mold splendidly! - It's not within walking distance to my house - I'm not veg/vegan (though, man, they have converted me) - It's...a literal bus. First things first, let's talk food. After telling my mom I was heading her she asked me to grab her something to support the business. I got the buffalo mac and she get the red bean burger. The mac was amazing! It had a wonderful blend of texture and flavor. A kick (which I love) but it's wasn't overbearing. I've never even considered spinach in mac and cheese but loved it! I had one bite of my mom's burger and now am know exactly what I'm getting next time. It was...so good. It's been over 48hrs and I'm still thinking about it. Second, the service. They were so incredibly kind! The were happy, fun to have a little light chat with (even though I had never seen them before in my life). They were, finally, efficient! They were quite quick to get my order out even though I was not the only one out there to support them that day. They had a good amount of customers. I...can not WAIT to go back here! I highly recommend you join me and going there as well! Their food, although veg/vegan, can satisfy any palate. I promise you. ***SIDE NOTE: Make sure to follow their blog and where the bus will be at: https://www.veggiethumper.com/the-bus*** Thanks for existing!

They have such an interesting variety of food, and, as someone who is nowhere near being Eastern European, I thought it was super cool to see all of these foods I had never tried. If you love chocolate like I do, come to this store because they have a fine selection of European chocolates for great prices. Kinder bueno, anyone? If you haven't tried it, you're missing out, just saying. I would also recommend their tea selection, which is also extensive and cheap. They have everything you'd expect in a specialty grocery store, from spices to meats, from canned foods to sweets/snacks that you definitely wouldn't be able to find at any American grocery store. It truly is an excellent selection. Whether or not you are familiar with the foods, I highly recommend checking this place out. Seriously, the chocolate selection alone will knock your socks off.

Plus, I was deterred by having to submit my own medical claims to insurance. As with anything, not all acupuncturists are on the same level regarding knowledge & experience. The extra effort needed on my part is so worth it. My friend recommended Jay and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Jay studied under a woman in San Francisco who treated breast cancer patients exclusively. For my ladies out there impacted by this disease, it is far more comforting to work with professionals who get it than not. In addition to that experience, he also studied in China. At my first appointment, one of the first questions Jay asked me was- What are you eating? YES. He requested a two week food journal for my follow up appointment, which was like music to my ears. He has offers dietary suggestions for healing. The office is easy to find and it's a beautiful, relaxing setting. The bathroom decor is beautiful and they have a PF Co diffuser which smells amazing. I love this place and the care I'm getting here. Jenny & Jay are wonderful!
