No need to use any other contractor services because other than having the best prices around, Rubien effectively and efficiently demonstrates production, drive, agility, and initiative skills to help him tackle any request you throw at him. Rubiens' customer service skills are one of a kind. He always goes above and beyond expectations to keep his customers smiling. Although he usually is very easy to get ahold of, and quick to reply to messages or very quick to call back, lately I haven't been able to do so. I hope everything is ok. I have been trying to get in contact for a few weeks now and have not received any callbacks or messages from anyone. Not sure if I have current contact information for the company, or perhaps maybe my timing is just off.... Whatever the case may be I'm sure there is a perfectly reasonable explanation. I have never in my entire ten+ years of property management been so disrespected by a contractor... I reached out via yelp in June and thought he was a nice guy. He kept sending videos and pictures of work he does, as a smart marketing man would do. The other night he sent one with a price list while I was gathering bids for a junk haul. I called this morning and said we had something a little urgent- we had a contractor leave a bunch of construction materials. Over the phone, he asked about payment and I very specifically said if he requires Zelle, the owner of the property is out of town at a conference and I don't have access to the business account so payment would have to wait until Wednesday. This conversation was further confirmed via text message. Ruben said he understood. I sent him pictures and asked for a quote- he said between $200-$300. He went and did the job but called and said it was a lot more work than he thought- and while I understand these things happen and wouldn't have mind paying more he started going on and on about hours, and dump fees...which with a hauling project shouldn't that be included? and having to use his ladder because of access and, and... it felt like he was talking down to me so I said send a bill and hung up. $500. I wrote back, 'like I said we'll have to pay it on Wednesday, it's a lot more than what was expected and I would have gone with another quote so it's unfortunate for him because we manage a large portfolio and I can't use him again.' There's no way one of my owners would agree to with that history. He called demanding payment saying I said I would send it today. He very quickly got heated because I directed him to the text messages. He demanded the owners number, I said no, and he said, I quote, "Do you want me to drop all this s*** back off?" I laughed, I said go ahead and you can take me to small claims for the money. Finally having enough with being yelled at, I said "I'm hanging up now, I'll make sure you get your payment Wednesday." He reassured himself I guess, by saying "I have been nothing but kind to you and you tricked me." Ruben-- you made a bad day so much worse for me so thank you for that. You'll get your money on Wednesday as agreed upon from the onset... I mean, as long as your threats don't come to fruition. read more

I contacted these folks to haul away from items from my place. It took several attempts to set a time for the pickup. When the time came, they called to cancel and we rescheduled another day. Instead of trusting my gut, I went ahead and said OK. Again, the date and time passed and they didn't show up or call. I finally tracked them down by phone and they tried to reschedule yet again!
