The water was terrible. Blech... I was drawn in by the picture of the cobb salad on facebook it looked freaking delicious, unfortunately what was served did not resemble the picture at all. I also ordered the Santa Fe Turkey sandwich on toasted Parmesan sourdough bread, not really sure what happened here possibly imitation Parmesan or bad oil it was toasted with either way it did not taste right. This sandwich left me wishing that I had ordered something different. I hear the breakfast is nice... too bad I will never experience it since I refuse to go back to a restaurant that refuses to filter their water. On a positive note. The walls were nicely painted, the booths were in good shape, and the waitress... well one waitress (the younger one) was very friendly :) and the floors looked very clean. We went this past week. We were really excited about our favorite little hole in the wall re opening. Sadly we won't go back. The reception we received was cold,no verbal communication.We felt as though we were imposing. Gave our order,my husband's potatoes were raw, Biscuits/gravy wasn't tasty at all,the bisquits weren't done. Of course we weren't asked how our breakfast was. We paid the bill and left. Hair in food! This place is discusting & the owner is RUDE! The iced tea had a nasty old.taste, I replaced it with sierra mist & that had no sweetness, just carbinated water. Eggs were over medium when I asked for over easy. My daughter'sstuffed french toast had a hair in it. We told the waitress we did not want a replacement french toast since we were grossed out by then. A minute after she took the plate away, the oowner/cook comes up to us upset & shoves the napkin with chewed up food my daughter had spit out with the hair & demands her to show him the hair! He continues to argue saying there couldn't be a hair in her food because he's bald (mind you the man has a mustash & beard). Very unprofessional & rude to argue with a child! We were not trying to get gree food or a rellacement for thr french toast. We just didn't want to eat there anymore. I left cash for the horrible meal & terrible memories. read more

Absolutely the worst restaurant in all of Hemet. I have lived in Hemet for over 20 years and tried most of the independent restaurants. The food was not cooked correctly with the wrap my sister ordered was soggy and tasteless along with her fries that were undercooked. My chicken sandwich was cooked too quickly so the chicken was tough and spongey while some of my fries were cooked as I requested, well done, there were other fries included on my plate that was almost raw. We still left a 5 dollar tip on a $30 bill. No one told us how to pay so we went to the cashier at the front area. When I went to pay the bill, a young boy was told to take my money while other employees were counting their tip money or texting on their phones on the counter just a few feet from where I was standing. The boy didn't count out my change and acted rudely when I asked to count it. Some waitress started yelling at me, saying I was rude for asking to count my change as she pointed out that the boy was "just a kid". Why is a kid taking money as he obviously was never taught the proper way to take $ and return any change? I suggested that I had the right to re-count my change since the boy didn't do it. This poor excuse for a waitress continued to yell at me as we walked out the door, never to return again. It's clear to me that the owner either hires family members or hires people that don't know a thing about serving people and never trains their rude staff to be better. Yes, I am upset. It's just as easy to run a good restaurant as it is to run a poor one. They have chosen to offer poor food, lousy wait staff, and untrained, rude cashiers. We will make sure that all of our friends will never go to this place ever. They would do a service to the community by closing their doors and stopping ripping people off with bad food, poor service, and lousy humans who claim they work there. read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk by, but this place is very cute and quaint. Very nice wait staff!! Every time our waitress came to the table she was smiling! Their food was pretty good, a little on the softer side when it came to the home fries but still pretty tastey! They have a good serving size and both my boyfriend and I didn't finish everything. By far one of the best hidden gems Hemet has to offer. Location makes it difficult to see. Food is served quickly and fresh. Even if the place is full, order comes out fast and accurate. I'm only giving you guys 2 stars cause the food is great but the sevice not so much. I dont even dine in and the service is still bad. You get attitude for order,paying and getting the food. Since we live on the local schedule (up at 5 am, dinner by 5 pm), this place was perfect. Lots of choices (though none really veggy) Mi lady had a french dip- 4/5 I had the trio salad which was a scoop of chicken, tuna, and potato salad on top of giant delicious lettuce leaves with some peaches, tomatoes, and hard boiled egg snuggled in. 5/5 seriously? yum! Clam chowder came with my dinner and I was tempted to cancel the salad and double up on the soup. No nonsense servers take your order, deliver it, and leave the check- it was nice that we never had to look for her. I do believe they are open at 6am- but get the dinner fare. I liked the seat yourself, calm and cozy environment but was upset when the biscuits and gravy were cold cold cold. The gravy was obviously just sitting at room temperature, and the biscuits were obviously made ahead of time and not reheated, or toasted to order. I liked that the gravy was not overly salty. There's nothing special about this place. It's just a regular breakfast cafe. The food taste sub-par, the serving size is regular and most of all, there is no personality with their servers. Talk about "No Customer Service" at all. You don't say "NO" to a customer who orders an orange juice and asks for a refill of apple juice , specially if that is the first time of that customer in there. This is not the time to be choosy to your customers,. We chose to go there, we could be anywhere else but we decided to try it out. Been in hemet for over 5 years and always wanted to try this place. I was not disappointed! I ordered the corned beef hash plate and got it with hash browns and biscuits and gravy! Is probably the best corned beef hash I have had! The staff also constantly check to see if you need a refill on your coffee, so I didn't have to go search for a waiter or waitress just to get a refill! Stopped here for breakfast on our way back home from Palm Desert one morning. Was not expecting much, given the outside of this place. Not that there was anything wrong with it, just that it was tucked away in an old shopping center somewhere. Inside, it looked a little dreary, but since it looked clean and we were hungry, we stayed. Our server was friendly and the staff was efficient and polite. Our meal was surprisingly very good. My 7 year old still remembers his meal here! We may not be likely to drive out to this place again since it is a bit out of the way for breakfast, but we would definitely stop by here on our way back home another time! read more

The waffle was great, however I was completely GROSSED OUT when I took a bite of my sausage & found that while seared & crisp on the outside it was RAW & pink on the inside. I cut open the 2nd sausage & it was the same. My boyfriend had exclaimed on "how fast" we got our food, but honestly I'd have gladly waited 5 more mins than to bite into a raw sausage link.
