I've always gone for the omelettes and who wouldn't their huge and they're delicious along with an equally huge and delicious side of hash-browns. This time I went for the steak / eggs and Home fries. wow so so good. The service is always great and everything is served with a smile. They keep your coffee filled and it's a nice relaxing atmosphere. Between San Jacinto and Hemet this is my favorite spot for breakfast. read more

Popular diner off the main road in Hemet with a very relaxed and easy going vibe. The food is good and the service is great. They check on you a lot and refill your coffee a lot if u need it. The big kahuna omelette I had was delicious and the French toast was really good too. I like the way they do their home fried potatoes as well, just got add a lil salt and pepper to them. It's been a few years since I've been able to enjoy this amazing restaurant but I did today and they didn't disappoint!! Even though it was a busy Sunday morning, the beautiful ladies were all smiles and as friendly as ever! We were seated in under 15 minutes but for that delicious food Id gladly wait much longer! I had the scrumptious banana nut pancakes that were beyond delicious. They came with an egg and sausage or bacon. My partner in crime had blueberry pancakes (not on the menu) with hash browns and sausage. Im not a coffee drinker but even their coffee is amazing! After voting today my husband surprised me with taking me to breakfast. We've heard great things and have been wanting to come here for a long time. I decided it was a cheat day and went with the French toast combo (fried egg and bacon on the side) and my husband went with a meat lovers omelet and a pancake side. I Really enjoyed my food! The service was great (I believe his name was Greg). This is a true hidden gem in Hemet. The vibe here though y'all, the vibe. Oryz was my go-to breakfast place for over a decade. The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and will accommodate any reasonable request. But there is NO outdoor dining, regardless of what the listing says. Maybe that is a left over from COVID? Since there is a grassy lot next door, I really wish there was outdoor dining! read more

I mean, the collection the momma has there is ridonculous and joyful. I want to paint a rooster on canvas and bring it to them pro bono. The dad cooks a mean short order. His Chilaquiles are bomb (as a GenXer I usually omit that adjective from my vocab.) But it is pure fire, as is the total chillax atmosphere. Go try everything for breakfast and everything for lunch. Service is superb, especially from the son. You can tell they truly care! There's a dry erase board with the daily quote that is your reflection for the day. Portions are big and what a great value! I think they need to raise their prices, but so grateful if they continue offering such a good deal. Try not to be hypnotized by the roosters. read more

You know when it's a whole in the wall diner that's been there since the Cold War, they are doing it right. I ordered the patty melt. Came with shoestring fries. It didn't disappoint. Not one bit. Ordered it with a bucket sized iced tea. Service was friendly, to the point and pleasant. Food came out fast. Prices are a tad less than other family diners in the area. This place was kind of small compared to other diners such as Denny's but was way better! My family and I went here for some good diner style food and oh my gosh it was heavenly! The prices are very good too compared to the portions. I'm vegetarian and got the veggies Benedict's and it was so filling. It was also huge for only 13 bucks! It also came with 2 sides one being fries or hash browns and fresh fruit. The drink sizes are also very cost effective. My small orange juice looked to be around an average medium sized drink. The workers there were so nice too! They kept checking in and also they were very nice when I asked for some toast. The service was fast and the food was good. The vibes are cozy too. 10/10! My family & I have been going to this restaurant since we moved to Hemet a little over 1 year and a half ago. We tried other restaurants in the area and this is the one we felt the most at home at. Every single time we go there the meal quality is consistent which is something my husband really looks for being a chef himself. There hasn't been a single item on that menu that we've tried that hasn't been a hit for us! The service is amazing & every one who works there is so kind & attentive. Wait was a bit, got sat down and felt like a doctors office. We're not told who our waitress was. Waited and she finally showed up ask if she was our waitresses , said yes. We were sat down before other customers and they took those orders first. Asked why the wait and said I've been waiting on you to order. Coffee is not best. Portions are large , most were walking out with doggie bags. Utensils are cheap and felt like they would bend. Other section waitress attended us more than our waitress. My husband and I are new to Hemet and we pass by this restraunt multiple times a day and finally decided to stop in and give it a try. We were NOT disappointed. It's literally the cutest little spot on the inside. Literally made me feel like I was back at home in my moms kitchen which made me feel so welcome and "home" The staff there are all beyond nice and seems like theyre all family which really accentuates the "home" vibe which I LOVE. As we were checking out the menu, we were blown away with the prices. Theyre so reasonable and affordable especially for the portions of food youre getting. Pretty sure we both ate for a little over 25$ which is unheard of these days. This morning we ordered an omelette to split and I cant even finish my half and it was split!!!! Not only did our omelette come with biscuits and gravy which were phenomenal btw, for a dollar more, you can add hash browns. MIND BLOWN. Came on a Saturday for the first time and boy was it packed! When I finally got my food, I understood why it was busy. The portions are huge, and the food was flavorful. Might have to salt your hashbrowns a bit but that's no problem. Despite the huge portions, the prices are fair. I enjoyed their breakfast foods and the roast beef sandwich. This is one of our "Go To" places for breakfast and lunch in our local area.I have reviewed breakfast previously so today I'll give you the lowdown on lunch. Egg Salad Sandwich on Sourdough is my favorite. Ask for the fries to be crispy and you will love it. I've had several different sandwiches here and they have all been large, delicious and reasonably priced. My kind of place! Potato salad is good, but probably not homemade. All of their sandwiches are very good with generous servings of meat and cheese. This is a great "local restaurant " for a quick lunch or a great breakfast anytime. read more

You taste the love of the owner and chefs in every bite. The portions will be more than filling. I always take some home, if I can stop from over stuffing myself.. My recommendation is the Huevos rancheros and their pancakes. Lunch I would suggest a burger or the club is delicious and the fries are always steaming hot and fresh.. The staff is family run, and some of the nicest people you will ever encounter in food service.. YES THEY ARE BUSY! But do people not stop and wonder why everyone is willing to wait??
