Excellent brunch place! The service is great. We got here late Sunday morning and the place was packed. But the service was still fast and attentive. The skillets are wonderful! We tried the Colonel and the Southwest chicken, both are great. The southwest chicken has a great sauce, which is flavorful but not overpowering. Very pleased with our food here.

When we arrived, I was told it would be a 20 minute wait. It turned into 30 minutes. However the staff was really nice and friendly. This location has a friendly/ home-y, small town restaurant feel. The scrambled eggs were really good. But the sausage was cold. Probably because of timing it with the eggs. The biscuits were super good, nice, light, fluffy. Gravy wasn't anything special though. The pancake, which is obviously not pictured, was super dry. For the wait time, the fact that you can't make a reservation, and the quality. I would say that it's a 2.5/5. Basically just a step or two up from your regular iHop.

Nice little restaurant. We were able to get right in and be seated. The wait staff was not great. The waitress only came to our table one time and we had to ask for refills. The food came out in a decent time as the restaurant was fairly busy. I think the biggest reason I gave a 3 star on this review was due to the waitress' service.

Service is attentive and kind. I do have a tendency to get cold in A/C but with the way the air is constantly moving here, I get the feeling that it is intentional to keep the patrons from lingering too long. Floors are not carpeted so the atmosphere is a bit loud, but that is much preferred over a carpeted dining area that no doubt gets nasty as it absorbs are the messes. Booths are wooden, they are essentially a child's play drums, so when a child is sitting in an adjoining booth and insists on constantly kicking their own seating, you can't help but feel and hear it incessantly. #familydiner Half&Half is served with coffee, thankfully. It's cold and within it's so consume-by-date. The only room for improvement here would be to do away with serving it in their convenient plastic containers to reduce waste, but I can understand having kids at a table would make an open container susceptible to spills. English Muffins are hearty, maybe a little tough, but serviceable. I prefer a lighter, more delicate muffin, but these will serve wonderfully for those with a big appetite. I do believe that the EM was served with a margarine product and not real butter, as it did not melt on the warm surface. It tastes fine, but butter would've been better in my view. If lactose sensitivities are the cause for the oil-based choice, clarified butter would be ideal. I didn't try one this visit but I've had one from here before and they are not great. I confirmed during this visit that the cinnamon rolls are not house- nor locally-made, so I'd steer clear of those unless you've never had them homemade. Poached eggs were cooked very well (gooey yolk) and the hollandaise was tasty. Potatoes were crispy but tender inside. And ham is ham. It was probably a bit to "fatty" for my liking as I hate really chewy fat on my meat, but that is probably just a personal preference. Overall, this is a family diner and if that is your jam, you'll be happy with the atmosphere. And with just a few changes, I could give this 5stars but as it is, this place gets a solid 4.

Sunday morning breakfast was just a hop, skip, and jump away from my hotel. They were extremely busy so I sat at the bar. Very fast and friendly service. I had the French toast combo. Bacon was so good and French toast was delicious!

We ended up here because the original place we intended on going was closed due to July 5th maintenance. It was a great chance eating for us. The hospitality was first rate, the food was hot, fresh, quick, flavorful, and amazing!! This is definitely a must visit!! The ambiance is friendly and inviting

Very cute and homey place! It is located south side of town. I didn't think they had a huge menu but it had enough choices. I had a really big sweet tooth so I chose their stuffed French toast. Pretty yummy I really enjoyed them. All the staff were extremely friendly. You can tell this is a family place so expect to get good service. I will definitely come again. Maybe next time I'll try one of their skillet plates!!

Wife and i stopped in after a trip to Manhattan for a Kstate football game Great breakfast spot. Service was as great as the food!!! Highly recommend for locals & out of towners alike.

    Oatmeal with banana; tamale

Not easy to edit an order. I had asked for no toast, sub banana and only one tamale. I got charged for the entire of both meals even though there was an option for one tamale. Oatmeal was a pretty big bowl. The tamale was not what I expected (there was barbacoa beef or pork in it which was not stated on the menu; vegetarian) in a cornmeal wrap (?). But service was good! Cute ambiance, Midwest feel.

This place is always great for a breakfast that won't leave you hungry. A little known fact to non-locals, they serve alcohol at breakfast.

Fantastic Breakfast Spot in the heart of Downtown Manhattan Kansas!…read more The food quality was great, ordered the I love meat skillet! Service was attentive & friendly. Just be aware there are lines on the weekends on Saturday & Sundays but they're not too bad. We were originally told 30-40 min but we had a table in about 10-15 min was well worth it. The food was very tasty, good portions & priced very affordably. Was very happy with all of the above, will definitely be making our way back here more often!

Always enjoyed coming here during my time studying at Kansas State…read more This breakfast joint is very cozy, with some of the best eggs and dishes I've ever had for a breakfast place. The decor, and aesthetic are well thought out, with indoor and outdoor spaces to eat, and the staff is very welcoming and don't mind talking. Jacob was my server at the Chef and he was on top of everything, helped with ordering and answered any questions I had. I chose the special for the day, the Cuban Bennie, and I'm glad he talked me into it. I will say if you can get there before it opens and can make it in at opening time, do it, because by the time we had ordered and finished the line was starting. Time to order, and receive food was ~ 20 min, coffee remained filled as was water. If you're visiting or a local, highly recommend this cozy breakfast place.

Wine Dive Kitchen is a lovely restaurant in downtown Manhattan…read more I found them on OpenTable and booked a reservation for dinner on a Friday night. We were able to get in at 8:15. It was a little late, but they were super busy with a large party in a private room. Once we got in and got seated, the delightful server took excellent care of us. My wife wasn't really hungry so she just nibbled off my plate. I started with a half of a wedge salad, which was delicious. They had a special on a piece of paper that night, which was a smoked pastrami, burnt ends sandwich with homemade rye bread. It was glorious! Very creative and fun. Since I don't love fries, they were kind enough to substitute deviled eggs as my side dish. I didn't know there would be an up charge for that but it's okay because they were delicious. We each had two drinks from the bar and they were made very well. They have a huge wine, seller and a great selection as one would expect by the name of the place. This restaurant has other locations in Lawrence and Wichita and I would eat at any of the three. Very cool menu and an amazing wine selection. This is really good food.

I was feeling something lighter, so ordered the Fattoush Salad and added salmon for a dinner meal and it was very good, though didn't wow me like my guy was raving about his burger! They had their wine menu on an iPad (wide selection + easily updated) that had everything from fancy bottles to affordable glasses. Don't skip the cheesecake if they have it either!
