I recently stopped here after landing in Charlotte to see what the store offered. The last time I stopped at Earth Fare i was over in the Johnson City, TN area. So it wasn't my first time at an Earth Fare personally. The store self was very clean but I felt that the selections were pretty limited for what I was trying to find. The store does have really high standards as stated in the company's mission. I was able to get a good smoothie though it was overpriced for what I paid for. The hot bar had great options as well though I was saddened that they ran out of soup. Plenty of great grocery items nonetheless. Quiet location with not many staff members working at all either. Large parking lot with access to the street nearby as well as the highway. read more

Their meat selection is insanely amazing! Grass fed and from Australia! The prices are better than anywhere else! The best meat and prices!

Great selection of non-dairy milk, cheese, yogurt and other products. I like the oat based ones and lately coconut. I'm also on a low oxalate diet (kidneys) so it really helps to have a selection to choose from. Store isn't usually too busy and is always clean and staff is friendly and helpful. I've been waiting for their new item, ready-to-eat half rack of ribs, which were supposed to be in no later than 11:45A, since 10A. I keep getting told "the truck isn't here yet"! This is really poor customer service. Unless something happened to the driver--which I sure nothing's happened to them--this isn't right. If something is advertised, it should be available on time. Since this is supposed to be a new regular item, they won't give out rain checks for it. It's after 12 noon and the truck hasn't arrived yet. Unbelievable! read more

I was so disappointed that this store closed. I'm vegetarian and I could find great products there. I also got super quality meats for my pooches who have food allergies. I've had to scramble to find replacement grocers. This was the final closing of all Charlotte locations. I miss them, they were close by and a little gem. read more

Welcome back Earth Fare, Fort Mill, SC ! Glad to have you back in the hood and so pleased that your staff was able to get their jobs back too! I was really disappointed when it was announced that all the Earth Fare groceries were going out of business in Feb 2020. I have found them to be a great alternative to Whole Foods or as some people say, Whole Pay Check. It's true, their prices are considerably less than WF's but you still get the quality. I especially like that they carry the frozen crawfish tails, essential for making seafood gumbo. They also have excellent chicken curry salad. They also offer salmon, mahi-mahi and grouper in the frozen seafood section individually wrapped for $3-5 dollars; hard to beat! I have always found this location to be clean, organized and well stocked. This location also has a juice bar where you can get decaf or regular coffee. Plenty of free parking! read more

This store is not closed like a recent review states. It closed several years ago but has since reopened. Good options for gluten free.

What is it about Earth Fare? Love your $5 dollar Rotisserie Chicken/Peppered Lemon Chicken. It's organic and delicious. Addicted to your Monster and Vegan Everything Cookie. You tempt me at the checkout counter. I must grab one or two every time I shop at Earth Fare. My friend bought Lobster Tail back in May and was not able to prepare and placed it up on the freezer. He just made it 4 months later and it is fresh and delicious- Broiled in the oven with spritz of lemon/lime. Pizza are fresh and tasty. Prepared foods are very good. Just to name a few-Meatballs, the pasta with shrimp, and the croissants with chicken salad for breakfast and lunch. So impressed with all your products. Prices are reasonable. Always check circular for specials. Staff ready to assist and answer your questions. Will be back for more. read more

I was grateful to be invited by Erik (community relation staff) for their soft grand opening. I never been to an Earth Fare before.. Wisconsin didn't have one and there isn't one around me in Steele Creek. Well things have changed now.. Great things to take notes on Fresh sushi made daily Plenty of meals to go. Their desserts section is to die for Plenty of fresh meats to drool over Everything is easy to navigate around. And it's all about fresh and healthy ingredients You won't find typical things like sodas, if there is. You may find some sugar free ones Their precut veggies seem to be fairly cheap compared to Harris Teeter or Publix.. Finally all the staffs are knowledgeable and very friendly. Win win read more

How many Earth Fares can you fit on one street? Well highway 160 says 2 within 5 miles. This was my first time at this location and it lives up to the Earth Fare name and experience. The store is very clean, easy to navigate and full of deals. It does seem smaller than the location 5 miles up the road but we were able to find everything we needed. The other location is closer to me so I don't foresee myself visiting this one much but glad to have 2 stores so close. am a huge fan of Earth Fare . I've moved here from South Florida and I miss Whole Foods. But earth fare is exactly what I needed in my life. I find that there are a lot of similar items and the atmosphere is very similar. I'll specifically love when I get a coupon from them saving anywhere from $10 off of $50 purchase or a huge savings on items I would have bought anyway. There are some coconut chicken fingers in the frozen food section that I absolutely love. Definitely have not been disappointed in any of the locations I have visited. Very well organized and an easy location to get in and out of with ample parking spots. Yes, it's on pricier side so if budgeting an issue they often have coupons and also sales. Meat/seafood gentleman extremely helpful and friendly. Got hot bar food at 11 and none of it labeled yet. I was able to figure it out but once the food on bar should be labeled. The salad and hot bar food all delicious! Esp the drummettes, Mac and cheese, squash casserole and collards. Only complaint is sometimes I've gotten Larabars or Kombucha that are expired but when called to exchange they had no problem in doing so. read more

I know this is early in the game to be a fan. Usually I give three stars = A-OK for a first visit, then can become a fan or not. The pre-opening reception was last night. It was nothing less than fantastic. The various suppliers were there with samples of their products and there were a lot of suppliers and lots of samples. Wine, cheeses, olive bar, sushi (!), two steaks, fruits and produce will give you an idea. And the staff was conducting tours. On the tour you got a lot more detail and could ask questions. A super promotion and super job in letting people know what they had, and how they, Earth Fare, are different than regular grocery stores. Lots of organic items. In fact it was hard to find non-organic items. Variety is part of the package. Look at any area, tea for example. There must have been a dozen or more brands of packaged tea and at least 15 lose teas. Ditto for many of the categories. When I entered the type of grocery it was, I put down grocery (natch), specialty foods and deli. And it is more. Wife and I had never heard of Earth Fare until Eric W., a yelp! reviewer invited us to this pre-opening. The actual opening/grand opening is today, October 13th. Go by. Decided to check out this brand new location via invite from the community relations coordinator (Erik W.) at Earth Fare and I'm so glad I made the visit! I was immediately greeted upon walking in and throughout my shopping visit. The setup reminds me of the one in Concord, but just a tad bit more streamlined. I usually shop at the Huntersville, NC location, but given this location's seafood variety offerings that the Huntersville location doesn't have, it may be worth the drive every now and then (No love lost to the Huntersville location :)). The gentleman in the fresh meat/seafood area were actually from the Huntersville location, which made for great conversation during my visit. Again, everyone was very helpful and pleasant during my visit from the beginning, during and to the checkout process. I'll definitely be back!! read more

Earth Fare in Fort Mill, SC, now stocks my favorite no-beef burger: Akua Kelp Burgers. They are not made with pea protein but kelp, a sustainable and really nutritious vegetable product. And they taste and cook up like ground beef. I make them as burgers or sauteed like ground beef for pasta sauce or an addition to soups and other healthy meals. Bravo Earth Fare! read more

This is the best Earth Fare location , maybe because it's new , but all the Charlotte locations are unorganized, dirty, and the butcher sections are lack luster. Everytime we come here the hot bar, food bars, deli , and smoothie bars are ready and on point. The customer service is exceptional, along with the cleanliness and organization. I'm glad I work near this location so I can avoid the southpark location. I hope someone from upper management visits both and notices how the Fort mill earthfare takes pride in the appearance and products they provide, no dried up chicken wings sitting at the poor excuse of a hot bar here . Fyi , you're already priced higher than other grocery stores because you're supposed to offer better quality . Get your other locations up to standards . read more

Customer service is TERRIBLE. Looking for an item it said was there online. Said it was available for pick up in the next hour. I asked one employee and he pointed at a wall and was like it could be there but idk. So I asked at check out and she just said idk and shrugged her shoulders. And I informed her what the earthfare website said, and she was like "idk that's weird". And just kept ringing up my stuff, and then just said "If not back there then we don't have it" Again, never even knew if I was looking in the right area as no one could even give me a general direction). I ask if there was a manger that might know and low and behold she was the manger. Yikes. Don't even know your own website or store. Extremely frustrating. Also the "fresh food" appeared extremely dried out. Needless to say, I'll stick with Publix. read more

I really want to like this grocery store. I keep giving it chances because some of the others in the area just don't have a good level of quality food. The employees here are fine, but I've gotten rancid food from here and I don't get the feeling that the employees are supported by their corporate group. The store often feels empty and my trust of the food is wavering. Its a shame because this area needs a high quality grocer badly. read more

I'm consistently disappointed in this particular Earth Fare and today was no different. The staff isn't wearing masks, there was expired food, a missing refrigerator door, disgustingly dirty floors, and the most unfriendly and unhelpful cashier. I always think I'm going to a place that cares about health and good quality food (especially for the price) and they just never improve. I might as well drive to Whole Foods so I at least have a bigger selection. read more

I honestly don't like writitng reviews but every time I visit this store the same clerk Lorenzo has an unpleasant attitude. He doesn't speak or greet you back when you speak to him. I was in line behind a couple waiting to check out and he was assisting another employee with bagging the items. A woman comes behind me to check out as well and he proceeds to go to his lane to ask the lady to come over. I appreciate her pointing to me to go next because I was next in line. Afterwards, he asked if I wanted a receipt and after saying yes, he throws the receipt in the bag and pushes the bag. There was no thank you, have a great day or anything as he proceeds to help the lady behind me. Again, this is not my first time experiencing his negative attitude. As mentioned I usually don't like writing reviews but his customer service is horrible. I'm not happy with the meat department here. I usually go to the one in ballentyne but fort mill is now closer. I preorder the first week of November my turkey for thanksgiving. I went to pickup Tuesday before and they wrote down the incorrect size smaller than I asked. I needs 18-20 and they put down 16-18. I said no problem just give me closer to 18. They gave me a 16lb turkey. There is a reason I ordered several weeks before and why would the butcher lie and tell me he would try to get me to the right size? I should have checked and went back but very irritating that can't handle a simple turkey order read more
