I've heard good things abt this place so couldn't wait to check it out. There's a bakery and ice cream shop along with other items a typical gas station would have. I went for lunch and ordered two hot dogs all the way. I was not impressed. They were cold and the chili was dry and not very flavorful. I've never had a dry chili dog before now and honestly I couldn't finish the meal. In any case the staff was at least friendly. If I go back I'd definitely have to try something different, maybe a burger. read more

Once again, I return to one of my favorite markets. This place offers so many great food options. They have bison and venison, the highest quality of meats and select seafood in Fort Mill. Their filet mignon and strip steak are hard to beat for quality and price. During the summer you get their fresh tomatoes but sadly they don't have heirlooms. Fresh peaches, blackberries, blueberries and strawberries. They focus on local sourced products, non-GMO and hormone free. They have a deli a bakery and ice cream shop. They have recently completed an inside renovation and changed up their restaurant hours and their menu. They really needed to upgrade their bathrooms and I'm glad to see the checked that box too. We visited the Peach stand a few years ago and just recently visited again. It has really expanded into a store with a restaurant, a butcher shop, cheese and salad counter and baked goods section. One can find fresh fruit and vegetables, canned goods, a tremendous amount of bottled sauce and condiments, spices, bagged chips and snacks, and frozen prepared foods. Everything is beautifully displayed and ,neat and products well organized but everything very pricey in my opinion. read more

This place is a rip off. Full of a bunch of expensive artisan crap. Worst part is the set up, no rhyme or reason for the checkout lane and it takes forever. It is crowded and the customers are the snobs of Fort Mill or something. First time here. Service was great, food came out fast, employees were friendly and helpful. I ordered a BLT. Bread was tasty and toasted well, lettuce & tomato were fresh. The only downside was the bacon. The sandwich was huge, but it only had a few broken pieces of bacon on it. I paid $6.99. Stopped to buy their homemade donuts. I enjoy the plain and brown-sugar cinammon. Every container had glazed but not combo I wanted. When I asked an empoyee if I could get them swapped, I was told no...they said buy both and swap myself...i should have known to speak to an adult instead of a kid...nice corner store but customer service sucks. read more

Overrated. Heavily overpriced. Nothing worth writing home about. Their breakfasts used to be good. A few years ago they must have changed venders. The breakfast bowls used to be a solid 8 out of 10 for us. The hash-browns were soooo good. Now since they changed they are not the same. Their breakfast sausage has also change and not for the better. Not to mention their prices jumped overnight and the portions were literally cut in half. We live a 1/3 of a mile from here and usually went once a week for breakfast. Since these changes we haven't been back in almost two years. Their bakery items are just ok. Their "specialty" items are nothing to write home about and definitely overpriced. Their produce is less than ok and overpriced. read more

I really wanted to like this place and support a small local business. I first went for lunch when they opened and was underwhelmed. Now 6-9 months later, I decided to go back. I have been coming to the Peach Stand for years, we loved breakfast and lunch here.. It was a wonderful home town treat.. To say it has changed would be a Huge understatement, they have long ago gotten rid of the hot food options, and now only serve mediocre hot dogs, burgers, and so so sandwiches... The best thing on anyones plate was the pickle.. The fries were well fries, and the onion rings, well you can see them in the picture.. It's sad when a great restaurant goes down.. I don't think I will be coming back to eat at the restaurant.. I gave it 3 stars because the other parts of the Peach Stand still rock, especially the bakery.. read more

What an amazing find. After a great lunch, finding other great treasures throughout this beautiful establishment was so much fun. The food was great, the little tchotchkes, jams honeys, so on and so forth were adorable. People have always told me to come to this York County staple and I'm so upset it took me so long to finally come and try it out. The peach stand is known for having wonderful baked goodies, meat, fresh milk, and eggs. However they have a whole restaurant which is amazing. The restaurant is like a small town feel. My co workers have been telling me to try so I'm glad I did. When i went they had a normal lunch time crowd but the line moved fast. The special today was meatballs with all your down home southern sides or you can opt for a burger, hot dogs, and they're other sandwiches they have. I decided on the hot dogs all the way with their hand cut fries and a drink. The total of all that was $7. The hotdogs were amazing but the fries were so crispy and seasoned so well! im a city slicker from the top of ohio. i was initially worried because i sort of stick out like a sore thumb down south, but all the staff were super welcoming and sweet. they all went out of my way to help me. at the sweets section, me and the staff had trouble figuring out what which macaron was strawberry flavored, so they gave me a free one to try, just to see what it tasted like, it was fluffy and chewy, just great. mystery solved. i wanted a peach to eat for lunch, but i couldn't find one, so the lady behind the counter got me a fresh squishy peach! it was delicious, duh. at the bakery i got a carrot cake. it was super ideal. the nuts inside just add texture, not disrupting the sweet cheesy flavor of the frosting. Whew, the peach stand is that go to spot for what I call, exotic taste, great homemade ice cream, fresh baked goods, and in a sorted array of country treats from gumbo to fresh pickles, and anything else down home country that you can think of. I stopped in here as I'm aware that they had a country delicacy of rabbit fresh killed and Frozen in their freezer for a friend that loves such delicacies, Far and Away not the typical thing that you find in your average store. During peach season this is a great stop for fresh peaches and fresh peach products, some freshly baked for your immediate consumption. Their ice cream is extraordinary bar none. Although being lactose intolerant I'm mindful of indulging that much but my tastebuds say it's excellent. I am absolutely in love with this place! It's a gas station, a restaurant, a grocery store and a farmers market. But you could also buy fresh produce like peaches of course and you have a huge wine selection as well as a ton of different types of jellies. I don't even know how to describe it but I definitely tell everyone I know to go to the beach stand. When I first moved to town I bought the apple cider donuts and they are absolutely amazing. If you were looking for something a little bit different than you would normally buy for perhaps a gift or a dessert when you're going to someone's house for dinner I definitely recommend the peach sand. I bought some peaches from here from my family in North Carolina and they were absolutely delicious. They have such an amazing selection and the people that work here are so friendly and helpful. My family and I went to the peach stand to look around after we got done strawberry picking.As soon as we walked in we got attitude from the moment we walked in.We stared looking around and decided to go get ice cream then walked around some more . I was looking at the oils and went to put it back it slipped out of my hands I looked up to the cashier there's still a bunch of teenage workers standing around talking as they should be working rolling their eyes felt very uncomfortable they were very unfriendly.
