Never the less John came out with samples and we discussed two major buildings several roof types but selected a 35 y high end shingle. Not the cheap ones made in Shakopee you find allot here (I know them from seperates enterprise Atlas is not being quoted here). John was $12.5k under the last 2 companies I tried, both of whom flaked out and didn't start working or ever returned calls again. [Ai says this was in the normal price range but on the very fair side]. Come spring John called me first too give me heads up on temps , schedule and wait list, we had a few weather issues in the way. He came back we talked about some side jobs I didn't expect he would cover including; a shed, siding, missing soffets leading too drip rails falling off, and wood rotting. He added it for a few hundred and truthfully his crew actually did a lil extra gratas. They also upgraded all vents as well as adding one [mine were new but the plastic kind rodents can break into but no longer]. Come warmer weather this spring they got here an did the sidejobs the day before, then attacked roof , then by noon it was done. Took about 5 hours the crew covered everything by house, minded robot mower and cleaned the debris up including nails with magnetic roller sweeps. Communication has been been a high point here I simply wrote a check afterwards n it was done. Other firms I tried wanted allot more money, non compete, and 6 month commitment contracts. Plus were high pressure [ then of course never showed again]. At that point I decided Id ask for referrals an got Atlas. Afterwards I'm told too expect an inspector too double check it, then if there's a problem call any time. I have actually but only too get referrals on some tricky unrelated jobs involving river landscaping not because of any issues with the work. Good old fashioned net working. So basically I recommend Atlas for : -Communication/professionalism -Timeliness -Speed -Thoroughness -Value -Simplicity/no pressure dealing -Cleanup/protection -A mindfulness of proper conditions too adhear shingles under, he could clearly do more work but wouldn't unless conditions were correct. This speaks too me of someone who cares about reputation and quality over quantity. So I say proceed here with out qualms or doubts. Plus he's a nice guy with a friendly crew too work with. Ps. I normally don't leave reviews unless I feel it's warranted, I write them for compensation and do product testing so they are work. Doing it for free on Yelp is it's own statement. Naturally people don't know this beforehand, and they didn't ask for one

At this point, our larger concern is the lack of communication and accountability. Despite multiple calls and emails requesting a long-term solution, the company has stopped responding entirely. A roof is a major investment, and homeowners should be able to trust both the quality of the work and the professionalism of the company standing behind it. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend this company due to the ongoing workmanship concerns and poor communication.

They went into detail saying they are following up on properties that experienced storm damage, when in reality they are attempting to storm chase. The lack of researching who you are cold calling tells me your level of professionalism. I would not recommend a company that is just chasing storms to get work. Instead let someone call you based on your work. That's a $1500 fine by the way.

Our Field Manager, Jeremiah, came to the house to give us an estimate for a new roof and gutter guards. Our roof was in need of a serious overhaul. Jeremiah explained the entire roofing process, materials and why certain things would need to be done certain ways - which left me confident that the estimate was accurate, fair and exactly what I would need to get the job done right. He even brought multiple single sample colors so I could pick the perfect one for the house and then got us on his calendar within A WEEK. The materials arrived on time and were put in a place that was convenient for us. The Metro crew that did the roof was amazing. They were SO FAST! The entire house roof and garage were done in ONE DAY. I couldn't believe it. The workers were great - nice and considerate. They did an amazing job cleaning up as well. We haven't found a single nail or piece of trash larger than shingle dust after they were done cleaning up the job. Two weeks later they came out and cleaned out the gutters and put gutter guards on. Done quickly and on time. AWESOME! I can't say enough what great work Metro and Jeremiah did for us! I'm now not worried every time it rains that our roof is gonna leak and knowing I don't have to clean out gutters ever again makes me so happy. Thanks Jeremiah and Metro!!

After shingles starting falling off our roof in St. Paul, I was given the names of several roofers…read more(through friends). Each time one of them came, they said "storm damage. We'll contact your insurance". Each time, the insurance claim was denied, saying (after their inspection) that the roof was improperly installed. Afterwards, they ghosted me - didn't want to continue to discuss the job, if insurance wasn't paying. I search online, and found well-rated roofers, but no difference in outcome. FINALLY, I came upon iRoofMinnesota.com (Moises Pacheco, CEO) and finally got real answers as to why the shingles were falling off (wrong nails...heated up the shingle and eventually caused the shingle to melt and expand the hole). His inspection for the bid included drone photographs of my roof, so he could explain exactly what he was seeing and what was needed to address it. His bid was very reasonable, and he had everything in place - insurance for his workers, permits, contingencies for rotten wood and what each replacement board would cost, etc. There was a type of shingle he recommended, which I researched and found to be of high quality. He not only gave us excellent service replacing the roof, but also excellent advice on other issues they found when doing the roofing. If he saw something, he told me about it, and sometimes just repaired it without cost if it was minor. He and his team were quick, efficient, and cleaned up well afterwards. There are no problems at all communicating with Mr. Pacheco and he is excellent at multitasking and keeping things moving on schedule and on time. I later found out that he works with multiple teams, across several areas, but has a home office in St. Paul. I was so impressed with him that when a friend in Minneapolis was having a hard time selling his condo (in a small unit building), because the condo board wanted to assess everyone an outrageous amount of money for a roof replacement around a historic window, without getting multiple bids. With that hanging over their property, no mortgage broker would lend to a prospective borrower. I suggested he contact iRoofMinnesota, which he did, and they were able to give solid answers to the condo board, about what parts needed repair, rather than replacing the entire roof all at once. They know what they are doing! I have found Moises and his team to be exactly the type of people you want to work with, because they are honest, don't overcharge, do excellent work, and are really committed to serving the customer. You won't go wrong hiring them! BTW, this is the first time I've felt strongly enough to post a review on Yelp, and I've been around a long time! That's how strongly I feel about this business... they deserve it.

Looking for a communicative but not condescending contractor, willing to negotiate, accommodate tight scheduling needs and payment/financing arrangements? They just completed my roofing project in one weekend, with a cheerful and tidy, hardworking crew. I learned a lot about my house and about how to approach future house projects and bids, from hiring them - great from start to finish. I recently reviewed numerous contractors' estimates, and of the eight companies that came through, Green Planet's was the best. Green Planet Roofing especially excels at documenting the condition of your roof and working directly (with your permission) with your insurance claims adjuster to substantiate and move forward covered repairs, but their retail pricing for out-of-pocket work came in the upper-middle-pack of the range of quotes I received- very reasonable. Learn from my mistake and contact them BEFORE submitting a claim so that they can add the contractors' teeth and documentation to the claim. The work proposal was incredibly detailed and itemized, with lots of photos and exact materials/pricing specifications. I needed the entire roof sheathed and while using uncompromisingly high quality materials for ice & water shield, architectural singles, vents, etc., they helped me lower the project cost and were responsive to my on-site, same day request to use OSB instead of plywood. They were also communicative and flexible when I had some order-of-operations complexities regarding an insulation and attic ventilation catch-22 (in terms of new vent installation potentially voiding a warranty, but new Green Planet, and Vlad in particular, were exceptionally communicative and considerate, from making sure materials were delivered to a good spot in the yard that didn't harm the garden, to being willing to deposit a check on a specific day and give a heads up before doing so I could make sure it wouldn't bounce. I hope to have them back in the near future to install aluminum gutters - they have machinery to stamp it out on site. Will add more photos later. Super recommend!
