They Care About Money, Not People -- Save yourself and stay Away from This Gym…read moreIf you're thinking of joining this place, please read my story on how they took my money and be extra careful before you sign the contract because once they have your money, they won't care about you at all I can't express how frustrating and disheartening my experience with has been. When my wife signed up for a membership, she was hesitant because of her health concerns. But the staff pressured her into making a quick decision, assuring her there was a 30-day refund policy if it didn't work out. She trusted them and signed a 10-page contract that they didn't even give her enough time to properly review. Fast forward a few days, the program turned out to be unsuitable for her health, causing physical discomfort. Naturally, we asked for a refund--only to be met with a flat-out refusal. Their excuse? "It's in the contract." It's infuriating that they're hiding behind some cleverly worded fine print, all while ignoring the fact that we were told something completely different at the time of signing. There front desk are the ones who said "You have 30 days to decide". We tried explaining our situation multiple times, thinking they'd show some understanding or basic decency. But their response was basically, "too bad--you signed, so forget about the money." How is that fair? A gym should care about the well-being of its members, not just lock them into contracts and take their money without delivering a service. You took my hard earned money (around $950) just like that. It may not be big amount for you but for us its a huge chunk of our monthly income. I have nothing against the gym itself, but the way they've handled this situation is just wrong. They didn't even consider my wife's health concerns or the fact that their program wasn't working for her. Instead, they chose to exploit a technicality to hold on to our money. At this point, we feel completely betrayed and have no choice but to take legal action. It's disappointing and exhausting to deal with a business that treats people like this. If you're thinking of joining, please be careful. Read every single word of their contract (even if they rush you), because once they have your money, they won't care about you at all.

I'm giving this 3 stars because of their weird policy that both parents have to sign off on talk…read moretherapy before a kid/teen can be taken on as a patient. The only exception is if the other parent is incarcerated or dead. It doesn't matter if one has full legal custody or not. This isn't my case but what if the other parent is abusive, addicted to drugs, MIA or not available to give consent? Well, you have to file an affidavit and await their board approval. This isn't court ordered therapy. I've had plenty of therapy for myself and my son and have never heard of such a ludicrous policy. In response to owner: The receptionist I spoke to said physical custody orders were irrelevant and didn't matter in the case of consent. Also, please tell me which law you're referring to as the laws were amended in 2021/2022. "In North Carolina, minors have the legal capacity to consent to receiving certain health services without the concurrent consent of a parent, guardian, or person standing in loco parentis. This authority is derived from G.S. 90-21.5, which is often referred to as "North Carolina's minor's consent law." North Carolina is not unique in allowing minors to access specific health services on their own consent. All 50 states and the District of Columbia permit minors to consent to health services for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and numerous states allow certain minors to consent to other health services such as immunizations, dental care, contraceptives, prenatal care, substance use treatment, and MENTAL HEALTH CARE."

Billing refused to call me back and actually said in an email "I'm not in a place to call you". They incorrectly billed a claim and tried to blame the patient. Seek services elsewhere. I'm now out of $170 and will likely need to go to small claims court to try to get funds back.
