Probably spent almost an hour and a half going through all of their awesome clothes and ended up buying a few great pieces for myself too. Wonderfully curated store. Clothing is modern and fresh. The sales assocuate deeply cared about what I was looking to get my best friend for her birthday and i can't thank her enough. We had a blast. I can't wait to visit again!

Then I bought a LV Neverfull GM. The UPS delivery guy was embarrassed to give me the parcel. I was shocked what I found inside-the bag was just thrown in without being properly packed, let alone put in a plastic bag. The bag was soaking wet inside out. I spent the entire night drying it out. The seller apologized to me and said I should just ship it bag to her so she can file an insurance claim. Didn't even offer to pay shipping back cost. Claimed that the original box was custom-made and she paid good money for it I suppose reusing a produce box can be called "custom." You can see for yourself. I asked the owner to compensate me for the time I spent drying the bag out, purchasing new box, and taking my valuable time to ship it back. Properly. Her answer was I'll pay you $15. Long story short, sunken costs, etc, I kept the bag, but will never ever shop from this lady ever again and caution you from consigning with her - she is a liar and a cheat.

My first visit was simply a walk-in. I was in downtown Seatle, where I was visiting and interviewing for work. Walking by the shop as I had some time to sight see and went to the Pike Market that day. I stopped in because the window manequins looked cool. I had to check it out. I gained a little weight over the Spring so I was looking for a few good pieces to update my wardrobe. JR was there. Very dapper guy. He was welcoming and offered a cup of coffee from his espresso maker in the back. We chatted about silhouettes, as he tried to see what I might really be interested in. He knew all the right questions to help me help myself. I made an appointment for later that week to design a suit for a big date I had scheduled for late Summer at Maryhill in Goldendale, my wine pickup party. I like to dress up for these things. Feels good to look good! I envied JR; he gets to dress up everyday for work. I work from home, so jeans and tee shirts are my regular attire. The appointment lasted about 1/2 an hour. JR showed me fabric books to pick the color and feel for my 2 piece suit. I found a nice wool, blue square pattern. The texture was the best part, kind of an open weave. Perfect for a late summer date! I picked up a new wallet and a pink shirt which I took home that day. Just as expected, JR called about 2 months later in August for me to test fit the new suit. It was perfect of course! I was stoked! Date at Maryhill was great too! Amazing wines, good food. Fabulous view. The drive was pleasant. My date loved it as well. To my surprise, I got jeans and sweater for my birthday which my date sourced at Harris & Tailor. They are Billy Reid jeans and the sweater is a Jach's NY Cardigan. Perfect for my work from home daily rotation! Highly recommend this cool clothing store for custom suit, or best quality jeans and accessories that you can find in Seattle!

J.R. chats with me casually about how things are done in Italy, though he doesn't know I've just moved to Seattle from Rome - and he's right: Quality and purchases to last for years are the emphasis, and it's a mindset I can see reflected as he returns my coat and jacket to me free of charge. Despite the triviality of my ask - replacing two buttons on a coat and one on a blazer - everything was sent off and returned in short order with the fabric brushed and cleaned, 'gratis'. Yelp?
