One of if not the best vintage in Seattle. Reminds me of some of the great vintage stores in SF or NYC.

The sales space itself is in an exposed brick 2nd floor unit. The focus of this boutique is locally designed accessories and clothing as well as independent labels. Some pieces are designed by the owner, Audrise. She also carries items by two sisters that recycle vintage Japanese obi into hair clips, cards, and wallets. The selection for men wasn't very large, though she said that there will be more later. Audrise also made some of the men's pants. The prices might seem steep, but if you consider that you won't run into every 5th person in the same mass-produced article it is on par or even cheaper than some chains (read: Anthropologie and the like). Audrise was super friendly without being ingratiating. She even recommended some products from a nearby Ballard store. This will be my new place to go for unique apparel & necklaces (also fashioned by the owner).

( not " made by 2 japanese sisters" ) as some have mentioned before. the month of january features ultra cool butoh photographs by seattle's most innovative photographer, kuniyuki ) its too bad that the joint takes a 50% cut offa artists works. keep your eyes open, cuz you might miss it.
