Sal uses our sink, so he stops by fairly often. The girls in the area swear by him, which I took as high praise since they have daily access to all of the counters. When he met me, we were talking about my cult-like addiction to their Orgasm blush. It is SO pretty and sparkly! He looked me over and said that he thought Deep Throat would look even better with my skin tone. I stopped by to get the blush and also had him just choose a concealer for me without even trying either on. I have seen so many women leaving his counter looking gorgeous and feeling beautiful. I was pretty sure I could trust his judgment. He has a great eye for color and skin tones. Needless to say, both products are perfect. I love them. If I ever have an event where I need my make-up done, he is going to be my guy. Until then, I am just happy to have him as my go-to guy for product.

There's a small parking lot on the side of the building with a door, and then there's another door facing University Avenue. Once you step inside, be prepared to be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of nail supplies and how tightly they have fit everything into the store. To your right, you'll find a vast array of nail art supplies, including rhinestones, embellishments, and more. There are also a few rows of gel nail polish sets (if my memory serves me correctly). On the left, you'll find a display of gel nail tips in every possible shape. I wish I had noticed this earlier, as I spent most of my time searching through the back of the store for the specific tips I needed. Straight ahead, you'll find a huge selection of SNS dip powders and their dip nail powder essentials (bonder, base, sealer, and top coat). They offer both the regular version and the SenShine. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be organized by SNS "collection" names or even by color. It's a bit of a jumble. But if you're looking for a specific SNS dip powder, there's a good chance they have it. I even picked up the Natural Fill Dip, which helps hide any seams from my gel nail tips. To the left of the SNS area, you'll find several other nail dip powder brands and their matching gel duos. If you want to see what the colors look like, they have the nail colors on a clip ring at the register. They staff are happy to help you if you engage them and try to articulate what you're looking for. If you venture further back, you'll discover a wide range of additional supplies, including nail buffs, files, toe separators, various small glass jars, and probably a lot more. I did find some pretty sad looking regular polishes back in this area, but that wasn't what I was there for, so I wasn't concerned with their condition. Keep in mind that the store isn't open very late, so make sure you allocate enough time to explore and familiarize yourself with the store before you start shopping. It can be quite overwhelming, but the variety of products is truly worth it.

Upon finding the location, it was a fairly crazy store, with cramped aisles, and lots of boxes and stuff unopened. They certainly had lots of options, but it felt overwhelming to really look through. On top of that, they now have a sign in store saying that you must be licesned to shop there. I certainly respect a store keeping it to professionals, but it was frustrating after driving 20 minutes there to find that I was not going to be able to shop there. I'd appreciate if they updated their site to prevent this issue from happening to anyone else in the future.

If I want bargain hair products, Target's the place, and any regular salon for higher end hair care (today's trip was for a shampoo listed in Real Simple for $15. Ulta's price: $17). For a haircut, I'd just feel more comfortable at a place that specializes in hairstyling, not a place with 3 chairs tucked in back next to the Jessica Simpson hair extensions ($99).
