It cost $200. On a later visit, I went back to Village Silversmith, and found they were selling many rings of the exact same design that I was told was a one-off, and for only $50! More recently, I was talking to a gemologist & jewelry designer at his Cambridge store, and showed him the ring. The gemologist told me the so-called Australian fire opal is an artificial stone!!
