I've gone by this office frequently and I (mistakenly) thought it might be pricey. Today I brought my 87 year old father who is visiting from Spain. He has one month old hearing aids that for some reason stopped working. I initially brought him to Costco. Big mistake, the woman behind the massive plexiglass divider wouldn't even look at us, specially when I told her he didn't buy them there. Not even an 'I'm sorry I can't be of help'. I could not wait one more day, as it was impossible to communicate with him. We arrived at Eartone and there were 3 people in the waiting room. I thought it would take quite a while or we might have to make an appointment for a later date. Rina greeted us and asked us to fill a brief questioner while she was with another client. In less than 10 minutes she was ready to help us. She assessed the situation and got to working on his hearing aids right away. She had to perform a hearing exam as she didn't have the client data to reset his hearing aids. She gave us the price and she recommended a special assistive device that was specially molded to his ear. She felt this would be very helpful to gain full benefit of his equipment by maximizing his hearing and it would allow his devices to stay in place better. I agreed to the price immediately as it was very fair. I'm an ER nurse, and know good patient/client care. Rina is a true professional, she was concerned and wanted to help. Her fees are excellent, fair, and will keep me coming back as I or my friends need it. A class act. read more

Updated Below: I was extremely upset at my last visit here. I felt the person helping me had zero interest in being there and I was bothering her. She had no idea why I was there when they wanted the appt. I had to ask for the wax filter as she was gonna send me home with nothing. I felt completely unheard and am pretty sure I was unheard. I felt the appt was unnecessary and I have to drive 40 minutes to get there. Very disappointed. I haven't had any issue before this but this last visit was horrible. Called back and talked to Rena (owner?) as requested. I am still very upset about what happened and the waste of my time this appt was and the rudeness I had to deal with. I won't be returning but obviously others have better experiences than I had so keep that in mind as this is probably not many peoples experience. But it was mine and I am still upset about it even though it has been awhile. Rena was polite and explained the person I dealt with was in training. So I hope if you go you have better experience. Got an appointment with them through Aetna, my insurance company. Got a link to their online forms (which actually didn't work--was told to fill them out when I arrived for my appointment). So I arrived for the appointment, to be told I was not on the schedule--I could either wait an hour and a quarter or come back tomorrow (which is what I chose) because the appointment I thought I made did not exist in their computer. Rina at Eartone Hearing Aid Center was very professional, patient, and diligent when advising my very elderly father on his options for hearing aids. She is an excellent audiologist and her office looks into all the insurance coverage to make sure they offer affordable options to you. My father's hearing is extremely poor and the off-shelf hearing aids and even those from other hearing centers were not working so well for him. Rina was able to pinpoint very accurately what he needed and fitted him with a new pair of hearing aids that he loved, they worked so much better than others he had tried over many years. I ordered hearing aids through Eartone, I got them in a timely manner and there was really no adjustments needed after I was fitted short of minor adjustments due to an updated hearing test. Office is a clean and organized. I had previously ordered hearing aids thew another local firm, but they had every each manufacturers wire tangled with each other and didn't know how to use the software. There's not enough stars here!!! If you've ever had difficulty hearing, you know what a handicap in life it can be. Here's what happened to me: I bought some aids a year ago because my hearing was really, really weak... I couldn't go to any restaurant and I couldn't socialize at ALL!! My aids quit working after less than a year. I tried contacting the people that sold them to me. They were out of business! I contacted another provider (Kaiser), but they wanted to charge me $500 per ear to help me. Then I found Eartone. Not only were they willing to see me, they could see me the next day! Anna & Rina were so nice and thoughtful. They examined my aids and gave me a hearing test. Then they arranged to send the aids back to the manufacturer for repair. Another surprise - they gave me a brand new loaner pair so I could go on with life! A week or two later, they called to let me know the repaired aids were back. I went to their very convenient location and they made sure everything was working. And SURPRISE! They charged me nothing! Eartone and Anna & Rina are AWESOME!!! About a year ago, I went to Eartone to replace my hearing aids. After I got the new ones, it took a few more visits with them to figure out what program settings I needed for different hearing situations, and which earbud was the best fit. They had no problem spending the time I needed, over a few visits, until we found the right solutions of programming and fit. The hearing aids have met all my needs, and are so comfortable that a couple of times I've left the house without them, thinking I had put them in. I just returned to Eartone for a hearing check, which showed that I needed some adjustments. I felt, again, that I was listened to. As a senior who has been staying at home,I was very distressed when a part of my hearing aid came off and was lost. I called the hearing center and asked them to send me the part and I'd put it on myself. The audiologist said they could not do that but requested I come in. I said I didn't want to go out, so, I'd get along with just one ear working for now. I was pleasantly surprised when she could come to my home and repair the aid. She arrived within a short while, made the repair and checked and adjusted both aids. All this was done with no charge and proper social distancing. I came to Eartone when my previous provider closed down. It's the best thing that could have happened! Anna Maria is very skilled at programming and provides excellent customer service. She balances the sound in my hearing aid better than any other provider I've been to. She is responsive and asks questions to understand what my needs truly are. She genuinely wants her patients to leave hearing better. I am a musician and very specific about how my aid is working and what I can and can't hear. This place is very professional and friendly. Sue Chamberlain is a wonderful certified hearing specialist and I highly recommend her if you think you have a hearing problem. My first visit she noticed I had so much wax build up she wasn't able to test properly so she recommended a wonderful ear nose and throat specialist where I went to have my ears cleaned. When I returned to her office for the test she surprised me with good news that I didn't need a hearing aid, and she was pleased for me and didn't charge anything for the test! read more

June 2019; Our story may be unique; but I can't say enough about Eartone Hearing Aid Center, Anna or Rina! My father is an im-mobile multiple myeloma patient, bound to the house. He's had some hearing aides for quite some time that weren't up to the task, but due to his condition couldn't get out for new ones. I reached out to Eartone on a Sunday not thinking I'd receive a response, and low an behold Sunday evening I heard from them. I arrived Monday old hearing aids in hand, as well as my heart, as my 80 year old mother was too in failing health, and they assisted me right away. In fact on the day my mom actually left this beautiful earth, Anna had arranged her house call for my father and worked wonders. Not only does he love the new hearing aids he has, Anna will be rounding on him about every 90 days to check in. This is what they do folks, come to YOU when you can't get to them. For this service alone, at a time when all seems so difficult in the health care and well being industry, these lovely and helpful team of professionals care.
