I normally wouldn't bother writing a review, but my experience with Anytime Fitness (Easley, SC…read morelocation) has been so frustrating that I feel like future members should know what they're signing up for. I originally joined at the Easley location because it was convenient for me. Then, without asking me, they reassigned my "home gym" to Boiling Springs--an hour away--because I visited it a few times. That decision was made without my knowledge or consent. I broke a rule and brought my young daughter to work out with me. The next day, I was locked out of the Easley gym yelled at l, and sent a vague email warning. I responded that same day requesting to cancel my membership, and since then... nothing. No replies. No confirmation. No resolution. But they're still charging me. If you're looking for a gym that communicates clearly and respects your time and money, this isn't it. I've had to escalate to corporate and file a BBB complaint just to try and get someone to acknowledge me. There are way better gyms out there. This one might be "24 hours," but apparently their customer service is stuck on silent mode.

When I first signed up here, I thought I would be charged $30 month for my membership. Took me a…read morefew months to realize I was being charged biweekly. I've seen apartment complex gyms with more extentive equipment options, and more recent upgrades. This gym is almost always vacant. You'd have to be smoking crack to think it's worth $60 a month. I'm most upset I didn't cancel my membership sooner.

I was a member for a year and had to cancel because we were moving back to NC. The only complaint…read more(and it's not really a complaint) is with their tanning beds. It was not easy to get an appointment in the afternoon. I would workout in the early mornings, but I couldn't tan then because their workers don't come in until late. I wish they had someone officially there at 5am. A few times I had a hard time getting my card to read and open the door...that annoyed me, but luckily someone would come along and let me in (after seeing my card). Last, it does get busy in the morning, so you do have to wait on some machines, but it's not that bad. I'm hoping to rejoin now that we are back...but only if my granddaughters can come in and wait on me. I'm going to find that out. Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to drive by there and wish I were working out. HAHA I don't know about the others who gave it a bad review, but I liked it. Everyone there was always nice.

Very very small. Outdated machines. Horrible service. The sauna is literally a 1 person sauna. I…read morewent here for about a month. I go in one day. And use the sauna and do some cardio. Im 2 ft from the owner. She never says a word. Once I leave I get a text saying I smelled like substance. But I didnt. This old man flirting with the owner didnt like how I looked and the fact I didnt act like his buddy when he spoke. So the text says I cant smell like substance they wanna make it comfortable for everyone. So i ask why isnt it a problem for the ones that come in smelling of poor hygiene. And i mean its bad. Whole gym stinks. The message also said that I can have drink in the sauna and poor it in the floor? Like what? I was clearly sweating. I smelled the Marijuana too. But it aint my place to tell grown people how to smell. The lil girl that owns it seem to be some lil spoiled girl whos dad bought her a gym. Theyll be sued and out of business soon. The place smells. Its small. The equipment is old. Very old. Crunch is cheaper and 6x as big. Several red beds. A huge sauna and most importantly, they dony slander or judge u. Save your money or go elsewhere and get your money's worth!!
