I used to live in CT & now live 3 hours away (don't know why heading here says I'm in SanFran). Recently, I had bad jaw pain, went to a local dentist where I live now, who said I had a bad tooth, & would need $15K worth of dental work to address it. Dr's Bell & Reminewzski both took an interest in & X-rays for my case & insisted nothing was wrong w my teeth. (& when I asked the always competent Sandy, at the front desk, how much it would be if I needed what the other dentist had prescribed, the answer was $10K) I just saw a neurologist who diagnosed a nerve disorder, & after 2 days on a medication, I'm already 80% pain free. The neurologist has seen many patients who've had multiple teeth removed w/o relief from pain until they were properly diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. I'm so grateful to Bell & Remi for their insistence I get the right care.

I wondered if she had paid any attention to what she was doing. Come to find out, about a year later, the filling she had performed, fell out. I went to a more esteemed dentist in Hartford and he told me that the filling that she performed went all the way to the root and she should have performed a root canal. My root in that tooth is now dead. I will never go to Dr Robb for any dental work ever again and tell my story to everyone I know.

Firstly, I was a bit late to the appointment and showed up frazzled and worried that I would have to reschedule. But, the office was more than happy to accommodate me the same day. They were courteous and friendly and made me feel comfortable before the procedure. My toddler was waiting with my husband in the waiting room and had a bunch of toys and books to play with which was a blessing as I was able to go for my appointment without worrying about her. In general the ambiance of the dental office is so different and peaceful from any of the other offices that I have been to. Each dental room has a TV and the patient can pick a movie or show while getting treatment. Another plus for this dental office :) Most importantly, Dr. Mukund and her team really took the time to understand my concerns and why have not been using the night guard in the past. They recommend a newer sleek version of the night guard and took the I got the new night guard within a week and I absolutely love it!!

My children were up to date on their visits, were seen April of 2025 and had their 6month follow up scheduled for October of 2025 with no missed appointments on their behalf in between; because dad and myself had appointments that we missed due to medical reasons, they canceled our children's visits and never told us. While dad and I did not agree that we should have been barred from rescheduling our visits, we were understanding and did try calling same day for appointments that were never available. We were not made aware that our children would also not be allowed to keep their already scheduled appointments (scheduled in April of 2025) and would not be able to reschedule, so essentially being discharged unofficially, No written documentation was provided to myself, my husband or the children, formally discharging us, no certified mail, no one called or communicated the children's appointments were going to be canceled. The manager Shanice was also incredibly rude when speaking to me about this issue, she interrupted me to speak over me several times and would not hear what I had to say because I mentioned how unfair to the children this was. She was also the one I spoke to about myself and my husband's issue when that arose, she failed to mention the children would be penalized, and failed to mention then that the children's visit were going to be canceled for October. I thought this was extremely unfair and unprofessional of this office and would not recommend to families.

Another office recommended very pricey implants or a flipper, and would not take her insurance. Dr. Bascetta was able to do a bridge, and it looks so real! Darlene, the office manager, has been going overboard to get the insurance to cover it. It's still unresolved, but they didn't wait to treat the problem! My mother has Alzheimer's, and the patience and care they've given her has been so kind! They also take Medicare supplemental plans like WellCare, which isn't easy to find!

I have been going to this office for quite some time now. Until today. This review is my way to warn any person from using this place for their night guard services. I hope to save you time and money. Teeth grinding at night, comes with many issues already. And for a "dental office" to play these kinds of tricks is awful. To start off, I had a night guard that I used for many years (from another dentist). Key words many years... I needed a new one, so I went to the office and they took the measurements. I picked up this guard 2 months ago. It was fine for the first month, then it started getting slightly cloudy. I let this go (as I thought it was normal). Last week, I woke up and noticed that my grinding had broken a piece of the plastic on the guard. I called the office and made an appointment. Since the whole point in these is to help from grinding teeth, you would think that the plastic can withstand that. Once I got to the office I was told that this is not material they use, and that I may have brought my "old one." First off, they tried to make me feel dumb, as if I would mistakenly bring an old one, or one from "another place". I showed them a picture of the one from them, the day I picked it up.... Which was a pricey guard as is. They blamed it on the discoloration, and stated that it was not theirs. I can assure you, that it was the one I picked up from them. I have no time to run around trying to get night guards from dentists. Without even looking at the guard and immediately stating it didn't match the picture I had, they weren't hesitant to attempt to make me feel as if I did something wrong. I have shown another dentist a picture of the two, and they agreed that it was clearly the same bite marks on both. I even took a picture of the material they use and will call the manufacture to have them compare it for even further proof. The point in my review here is to save you all the hassle and money of being ripped off by this place. They attempted to offer me half off a new one, but I refused. I am happy to pay double the price at this other dentist, because I can sleep with a piece of mind knowing I have a quality night guard. All please be aware...
