Before starting at Everhard, I had tried all different types of workouts... I always got bored after about six months. I decided to try ECF in 2016 and I've never looked back. Lol If your looking for variety, a challenge, fitness, results, and a community that supports you then you belong here. Of course I love the physical results and how they translate to ease with daily tasks, but for me I love the mental gains I get from the workouts. It helps me manage my stress, I sleep better, and it changes my mindset. The fact that you can do things in the gym that you didn't think you could do crosses over into your life.. or at least it has for me. I've been a member here for about two years, and the new owners, who've had the place for just under three years, have transformed it. I tried to stay away.. I went to 2 different gyms bc this place is more expensive than the YMCA and further away for me but it's just too good and I had to come back. It's worth the distance and price for me because I get amazing coaching, accountability, a variety of fun and unique exercises (like how often do you get to climb ropes and throw heavy bags around?) and the best thing is that I get to feel like a badass lifting heavy stuff and nothing else has ever gotten me into this good of shape. I have been attending regular classes for about 4 months now at Everhard Fitness and I couldn't be happier. It is a wonderful and motivating community with great coaches and owners. There are always options to scale or modify workouts for all skill and strength levels. I did not think CrossFit was for me, but Everhard Fitness has changed that. Easily the best gym around. Nothing compares to the community within this gym and the ability to scale things at any stage of your life. Started at 7 weeks postpartum with help from all the coaches with scaling options, continued on and off through the next 2 years and still here through my current pregnancy. I love everything about this gym. Workouts are planned for you and everything can be scaled. There are many time slots for classes which is a must with my work schedule. The coaches are very supportive when it comes to teaching forms and correcting as needed. I never feel like I am just on my own. My only regret is not having found this gym sooner! read more
