Buggies for bringing things from your car to your apartment. Inside mail room. A GREAT fitness center. A outside pool area. You may have a good view from your apartment of downtown.... but you can always go to the 19th floor community patio area with views of the ATT Center, Alamo Dome, Tower of Americas and downtown! There is an outdoor and indoor space with a large screen tv, kitchen and bathrooms. We split our time in San Antonio and Spain. We also do other traveling often. We know everything will be OK when we depart, between the front desk staff and the security. The Vidorra is an easy choice for us in this chapter of our life's.

There are huge trees in the front which partially screen the apartments from the road, and all the other buildings along Patterson. Located right next to HEB Central Market, you know that you'll be eating right. The elevators are nice, and speedy. The staff on grounds seem pleasant and nice. The rooms are done right, and have modern accommodations. There are some great views of downtown and Alamo Heights. The building has staggered massing and insistent scalloped parapets that make it highly visible from 281.

My first three months of living here my AC would not work and I had a temp unit. Some nights were so hot I left for a hotel. Then my refrigerator started making a loud buzzing sound late at night. So much so that I could hear it outside of my apt with the door closed. This was not considered an emergency and was only resolved when I repeatedly called at 2:00AM. I have a wonderful video that won't post here. When the AC does work it drips into my bathtub creating a stain and mold like substance. It only took 5 work orders over the course of a year to finally get fixed. Recently Avita has taken over the property. The first month they couldn't even collect rent from us they were so disorganized. Now they've decided to repaint the building. For over a month now I've had strange men yelling at each other outside my window. Sirens from the three big ass cranes are going off nonstop till 5:00 everyday. They also block the road which prevents deliveries from occasionally happening. I do contract and voice work so this has impacted my income. I rely on deliveries to complete projects and need as little noise pollution to record. When you add in the cost of having to get hotels and staying out when my apartment is too hot to be in I've lost well over $1500 out of pocket which is like another months rent. Just last night the office speaker by the leasing office was blaring music all night long and didn't stop till about 8:00am. I called the complex at around midnight as this had woke me up. They are now employing an AI assistant that "made a note of it" but nothing ever actually happened. 24 hours later the same song is blaring from the leasing office speaker. Two numbers for the complex have been disconnected or are busy and my third call to the AI assistant has yielded zero results. The office had posted open hours today but there wasn't a single staff or maintenance person on property today. A couple waited what must have been at least half an hour before giving up. Renter beware - great location but your trade off is ignored maintenance requests, questionable utility fees, noise, non existent staff, and an AI assistant that will make a "note" of your issue but not do anything about it.

They are money-hungry, and Linda is not a nice lady, only looking to make money. But I am already extremely impressed with the exceptional customer service here :D ! In addition to Jennifer and Didi, Adrian (one of the maintenance employees) and Dennis and Brian (the security guards) really do everything they can to make your stay here as comfortable and pleasant as possible :) ! No one is perfect. But they all really try their best. Adrian recently fixed my dishwasher so that the motor would spin properly again and so my dishwasher would run :) ! He also helped to unclog my kitchen sink promptly so it would drain properly again :D ! I was so thankful that both Jennifer and Didi promptly summoned him to fix both of these issues so efficiently and qualitatively :) ! It wasn't the only time maintenance came right away to fix items in my apartment unit. They also came right away to fix the latches on one of my windows in the beginning when I first moved in :) ! My next-door neighbors said they have been living here for about 4 years now and absolutely living at the Meridian :) ! They said they were so happy to renew their lease recently and stay on for a fifth year :D ! I noticed that the resident retention here overall is pretty good, compared to other apartment complexes that I have stayed in before. My neighbors told me about the Wednesday socials that the leasing office organizes around the pool or in the leasing office. And they encouraged me to come out to these so that I can meet more people in the complex :D ! Sometimes the gates are not properly working. So the nighttime security might not always be the best. However, although it's not ideal, I think every apartment complex has had its issues with their gates. I just hope that they are maintained and fixed from time to time. Other than that, so far, I love living here :D !

Churchill Charger Condos! These condos are located right on…read moreParliament Street, down the way from Churchill High School. It's a gated community, with only one way in, but two ways out of the complex. It's cool how they designed the complex so that the condos aren't all parallel, they're arranged perpendicularly, so the sound from the passing jets gets disbursed better, making it a quiet little enclave. The HOA does a great job with landscaping, there's all kinds of banana plants, flowers, statues, and interesting things to check out. They also spruce up the entry gate area for holidays! Yay! It feels safe in here, especially since there's a gate around the area. There's also a few pools hidden throughout the complex. Parking is tight, and there doesn't seem to be enough spots, but it seems that most of the condos come with a garage, so if you're living here, it mightn't be a problem.
