Both Carol Sigler and Julie Sigler-Baum treat on a level that not only fixes what you came in for, but boosts the system so that you look and feel many many years younger. A level of vitality returns that you either forgot or did not think was still possible. Also, for 6 months Carol Sigler treated me while I had to have chemo at Stony Brook hospital and I had far less side effects than others whom I got to know. No nausea, I was eating and able to walk an hour a day. At the end of the chemo I was treated for 2 months to put me back together and detox and after only 6 weeks I was energetic enough to begin interviewing and go back to work and have a normal life. I cannot recommend these highly skilled, kind and caring people enough. They are the essence of healing.

From the very beginning, Melonie made the intake process seamless and reassuring, and she has continued to stay in contact even after intake, which means so much to us. Nicole, who handles scheduling, is also so kind and responsive -- together, they both make everything feel effortless, even though I know how much work goes on behind the scenes. Our nurse, Erin, has been such a steady, compassionate presence. She explains everything clearly, is so patient with our questions, and makes us feel truly supported. And I have to give special mention to Tanessa, our aide. My dad has never been someone who is particularly comfortable with people helping him -- but he absolutely adores her. She's not only skilled and attentive, but she brings warmth and kindness that has made this experience so much easier for him and for all of us. The insurance only covers 20 days stay!! I was told by the social worker/staff no problem we have programs to assist after the 20th day!!!! My mom being on over 11 meds at this facility signed a document without a family member present that she will cover the co-pay. My mother 79 yrs young thought co-pay is $25.00 . When I finally checked my mom out of this facility, in her mail was a bill for $4818.50!!!! After contacting the business unit in Baldwin, NY the young lady told me that the bill is actually $7,751.50($209.50 per day)!!!! If a program could not be found for my mother, why did it take $7,751.50 to make her aware & the family!!! We only live around the corner from this facility.!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
