After walking the property with me about 3 weeks ago they gave me detailed and very reasonable proposal. First, they arrived right on time. Mark went over the scope of the work with his fireman and the left me in very good hands. They not only held to the plan, they did a terrific cleanup before departing. Sad to say this is not the norm. I would use these folks again in a flash.

But unfortunately I never got the estimate this owner claims. I did actually call and I was told "we're working on it and will have the estimate to you within the next week" - this was 2 weeks after the estimate was supposed to be emailed to me. Fortunately I did find wonderful contractors who did actually come to my house twice, once for the initial consultation and once more to double check the ascetics before finalizing the estimate- this other company I ended up hiring and was very happy. The job was $47,000 and this other company did a beautiful job.

I ordered a cord of wood. Paid in cash as they expect. That's fine. They delivered a little more than half a cord and refused to deliver the rest. despite it already being paid for. When they dropped the firewood, I told the driver it didn't look like a full cord. He insisted it was. When I stacked it, it was quite clear it was slightly more than a half cord. I called, was asked to send pics and measurements. I did. it was clear. Chris's response? I've been in business 35 years I don't make mistakes. And he's yelling. Because that's what you do to a dissatisfied customer. You yell . And you dont correct your error. You hang up on the customer. And in later convos he denies his earlier statements. Gaslighting. And yelling. Over a half a cord of wood. Cheating a customer for $130. Over his mistake. Class act. (Insert eye roll here) Avoid this guy. His ego makes him difficult to work with. I'm sure he has lots of friends who will write glowing reviews. Sure. Whatever.

The team worked effortlessly on May 5th to prune 14 oak trees and a white pine. One oak tree is over 50 feet and a triple trunk tree and Jose climbed and swung between each trunk to effectively prune this massive tree. The property looks great and I can sleep easy knowing that the trees are healthy. The team even suggested the removal of a 80 foot southern pine that was leaning close to a neighbors property which was a big liability. Jose climbed that tree and branch by branch he took It down while I held my breath and said a few prayers for his safety and the safety of the team on the ground. And the team was laughing and smiling as they toiled during this arduous project. The property was cleaned up of all debris and it was like they were never there.
