I was referred to Dr. Joubert and East End Endondontic Specialists by my dentist after she was having difficulty with a root canal procedure. I was very nervous before I made the appointment as I have never had a problem this in depth before this time. The ladies in the office were so nice and calmed my anxiety when I made the appointment. They all are so professional and knowledgeable and explained all I needed to know. The day of my appointment I met with Dr. Joubert and he explained all the details of what had to be done in order to proceed with my root canal. I am a middle aged woman and was very scared but when I sat in Dr. Joubert's dental chair he reassured me that all was going to be fine and talked to me throughout my root canal to see if I was in pain or nervous. An unexpected tooth ache that caused me excruciating pain for about 2 weeks during the height of the COVID-19 (April 24,2020) pandemic led me to Dr. Sanchez because my usual endodontist wasn't able to work on me. Well it was a blessing in disguise!! Not that I didn't like my other Endo, but Dr. Sanchez was a calm and caring doctor who made me feel very comfortable, at ease and VERY informed about everything he was performing throughout all parts of the diagnostic portion and root canal treatment portion of my visit(s). Even though I have had Root Canals done in the past that were painless, I was a little apprehensive because my old endodontist recently retired. The Doctors that took over the practice were young and extremely professional. My Doctor was Dr. Joubert his approach was calm and reassuring. He took the time to clearly explained the procedure. Absolutely amazing! I have such a fear of dental work that I've waited YEARS until it was too late and I needed 2 root canals :( when I say Dr Sanchez was amazing and understanding it's an understatement! I literally felt NO PAIN the entire procedure. He checks with you every step of the way (so much so that he even says "sorry I know I'm asking a lot but I just want to make sure you don't feel a thing." Everyone dreads being told that they require the expertise of an endodontist. Dr. Joubert and his staff made my treatment as pleasant as possible. The office is meticulously clean, the staff friendly and professional. The doctor's calm demeanor was reassuring and he clearly explained the procedure for my apicoectomy. From the minute I called the office the very first time, I was so impressed by the way everyone makes you feel so at ease. Dr Joubert is such a warm, caring doctor and has such a wonderful demeanor, which I find is very rare among doctors.
