Pulling in I wasn't sure what to expect. I was thinking maybe it was a small drive through sculpture garden with a handful of sculptures. Man was I wrong! There are hundreds of cool and unique sculptures. Towards the back is a gravel parking lot where you can get out and explore. You will Find yourself veering off the main path to see a sculpture and realize there are 30 more hidden in an area. My family and down family friends spent a small portion of our afternoon here. We only allotted ourselves like 30 minutes to view so there is absolutely no way that we seen all the sculptures here. But we did see was nothing short of amazing. Some of the coolest and most unique works you will find in Kentucky. Overall this is a must do for any art lover or anyone who likes to get out and stroll in nature on nice days. We will absolutely come back and check out this free sculpture park on a day when we have more time so we can fully appreciate all the Josephine sculpture park has to offer!

She just gets to sniff and pee everywhere she wants and run around the fenced in area. The -1 star is because this park is always a little wet on the ground so you have to watch where you step. While I did have an issue finding the address, once I did it was quite smooth from there forth. There's an separate entrance for large dogs than the gate for the small dogs so that was a soothing gesture since smaller dogs tend to get spooked by my dogs size. She was able to run free and the dog waste stations were readily available to the pet parents for easier waste retrieval. The parking is directly in front of the entrance so it was easy to unload and load her back in. I found it to be quite clean and spacious. I'm not from the area but spotting this park out made this stop on my trip worthwhile for both of us.

As, I've noticed less dog poop is laying around, so kudos to those that actually do pick up after their dogs! Also, I loved the fact that there's a blackberry tree just free flowing it's fruit, one unique thing for sure! Also, many people are cautious about their dogs, which is reassuring versus the dog owners who don't seem to give a care in the world. So I'm happy to review this place that it's safe enough for my fur baby to come here. And we will soon return.

The smaller one also has access to water. For the larger one, you either have to remember to bring your own, carry bowls to the other or send your dog to the smaller paddock to get a drink. Either way, my dog likes to walk the perimeter of the larger paddock as there are plenty of things to smell. There is also nice paved path for walks/runs, an adorable sensory garden for children to enjoy, and a pavilion with some picnic tables. As for bathrooms, there is a porta potty if you absolutely need one.
