During the initial visit, the technician was able to run the washing machine and hear the noise firsthand. This is documented on the receipt from the company. However, after being unable to repair the issue, I was told from the technician that on the initial visit they could not reproduce the noise and therefore could not determine what was wrong. They then shifted the blame back onto me, despite the fact that the noise had already been reproduced and documented during their initial visit. The washing machine was ultimately not fixed, yet I was still charged for the service. My biggest issue is not simply that they were unable to make the repair, but that their explanation contradicts what happened during the initial appointment and what is documented on their own receipt. I would not recommend Mr. Appliance based on my experience. I expected an honest diagnosis and an effective repair, but instead I was left with the same problem, out the service charge, and dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. I will be making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacting their parent company Neighborly for their dishonest practice.

I love the fact that they text you to let you know when the tech is on the way. They save you from having to wait around the house. Dale did a great job of troubleshooting, explaining the problem, and gave me a complete estimate for parts and labor. He told me that it would take a couple of days to get the part. He said they would call and schedule the follow-up appointment. The part came in and they schedule the appointment. Dale was on time and completed the repair in a timely manner. He showed me the defective part and clean up after he was finished. I will use Mr. Appliance in the future for my service need! Thanks!

I explained that I needed the case for my iPad and told him I had the 13-inch iPad. He asked which size I had, so I showed him the actual iPad I had brought with me. Instead of going by the model or properly verifying the size, he measured the iPad from side to side, told me it was 11 inches, and recommended the 11-inch case. I trusted his help and purchased it for $260. When I got home, I discovered that the case did not fit. I had to drive all the way back to the store and contact Best Buy customer service, who told me that I could exchange it for the correct case. However, when I went to exchange it, I was told I had to pay the difference for the correct case. This is extremely frustrating because I specifically brought my iPad into the store, told the employee that I had the 13-inch model, and relied on his expertise to make sure I purchased the correct product. I did exactly what a customer should do--I asked for help and provided the actual device. The employee gave me the wrong information. Not only did I waste my time driving back to the store, but I was also left paying more money because of an employee's mistake. I understand that mistakes happen, but when an employee gives a customer incorrect information and causes them to purchase the wrong $260 product, I believe the store should take responsibility and make the exchange for the correct item without charging the customer the difference. Very disappointed with how this situation was handled. I expected much better customer service from Best Buy. I am college student and this was not cheap as it's an investment for my future.

Both days I mentioned I was a veteran, showed my ID, and the store associates accessed their system and gave me the veteran discount. Today I go to the same Home Depot, loaded my cart with over $200 in materials, called over the associate to get my veteran discount. She REFUSED unless I get set up in their system. I explained to her that I didn't want to be set up in their system and the two prior days associates gave me the discount. She still REFUSED stating that the other associates did it wrong. So instead of satisfying the customer she wished to debate the customer, firm in her resolve that I not get the discount. End result...I went to the LOWE'S store less than half mile down Franklin. Furthermore I will continue to LOWE'S since they give a veteran's discount without being in their system.

So i weighted them and there was a difference of 3 LB from the bigger rolls. I also noticed the two smaller rolls were in different bags and buttoned up differently. So it was obvious i had two rolls of fence that had been partially used and returned and had been out for resale like they were new. So i returned them and told the lady at the counter Karl that two of the rolls were former returns. She said no they came straight from the warehouse. Well............ There was 270 rolls in stock. So i should have received all 4 as one shipment. But i didn't. I also have pictures to prove this if anyone is interested. I told the shady lady that this happens all the time Home Depot accepts returns and does not inspect the items and puts them back in stock for the next victim!!! You could tell she could care less. Time 12:00PM on 5/25/2026 I prefer Home depot over Lowes but lately i have been thinking maybe i am in the wrong store. Wayne Thomas. Loyal customer.

I'd expect this to be the flag ship store of the area besides locations in Charlotte but it's really not. If you're looking for the usual fair this HF will have it, but if it's in high demand you may be out of luck. Mainly because of it being in the city they sell out fast. The As-Is clearance section is very minimal and it's located up near the front near the office. Customer service is good here and they are always willing to look up a SKU number and run to the back to see if it's in stock. But again they turn over products quick here so don't rely on the app/website for correct in stock data. It's bitten me in the butt multiple times at any HF! I will be honest the Shelby HF has much better selection and the staff is much more relaxed. Every time I'm here in Gastonia it feels tense for some reason. Basically this one is OK, it has the usual items you need, the aisles are tighter than other locations, and be prepared to walk around stocking boxes as they are always restocking like it's a dollar general. On a side note I have seen workers just pull generator boxes off the top of another and let them almost drop to the floor. Maybe he was having a bad day but it made me second guess buying something big from here.
