Great place to store our very old and fragile travel trailer. We've been storing our camper at East Gate every winter for the past 6 years and have never had a problem. We always worry about mice getting in and chewing stuff up but it's never happened. Scott has been great about arranging drop off and pick up dates each year and it's been so convenient for us. It's so nice to have a place we can count on year after year. We highly recommend East Gate Storage. read more

We were referred to East Gate last year by a friend of ours when we were looking for a place to store our show car for the winter. Not only was it affordable but the staff was friendly and very helpful. Our car was safe all winter long and we had access to it anytime we wanted to. We were so impressed we are using them again this year. I highly recommend them. read more

The roof was caving in and particles kept falling on my items, mold was atrocious. Obviously, if I store it, it is important to me. However, not to them. The mice were also entering and eating any bags or boxes. It was very upsetting. Thank goodness for new owners. I was going to move the next hike in price when I decided to voice my concerns with new owner. Right away, Pricilla, property manager reached out and immediately moved me to a better, clean and close by unit. As difficult as it is to move, I immediately started to move before my belongings completely got destroyed. This new owner is awesome. Really know what customer service is. Comforting because customer service has long been gone and non-existent. Thank you, Priscilla. I was definitely on my way out to a new storage facility, however, having heard my concerns definitely made me stay here. Would definitely recommend, now.

College Hunks came in at almost a quarter of the price. They are bonded and insured, which was a comfort. The best part was, they don't charge by how many people they need - they started with 3 guys, but needed to call for back-up to get it out. They did it, and were super pleasant to work with. If I could give this company -1000 stars I would…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my family's experience was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. We hired College Hunks (Naperville, IL) for a local move between two homes that were only about five minutes apart. Before the move, we answered detailed questions about the size of the homes, the number of rooms, and what needed to be moved. Based on that information, we were given an estimate of approximately 6 hours of work and an expected cost of around $2,000. The reality was very different. The move ended up taking approximately 13 hours--more than double the estimate--and our final bill was nearly $4,000. We were told the extra time was due to a two-story walk-up and a blocked alley entrance, but these explanations do not justify such a massive difference from the estimate we were given. The men on the team also did not inform anyone that they were going on break and we have no idea when they started/stopped their break. To make matters worse, several items were damaged during the move: * The back panel of a dresser was damaged. * The center support leg for that dresser was lost. * A small piano was broken. We submitted a damage claim during the first week of May and have repeatedly attempted to follow up. Despite numerous calls, we have received no meaningful update or resolution. At this point, the lack of communication has been just as frustrating as the damage itself. I understand that estimates can change and that moving is difficult work. What I do not understand is how a move can take more than twice as long as estimated, result in damaged property, and then be followed by weeks of silence when a claim is submitted. All we have asked for is a fair resolution regarding the damages and a reasonable review of the charges. Instead, we have been left chasing answers. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to get every detail in writing, ask detailed questions about how charges are calculated, and carefully document the condition of all belongings before the move.

I have been storing my RV, and now my boat, at East Gate Storage since 2015. The owner Scott and the facilities manager Randy are awsome. Whenever I need my RV its a quick phone call or text and its outside waiting for me. I had researched multiple storage facilities prior to picking East Gate and East Gate is by far the cleanest and most reasonably priced I found.
