I explained to Van the situation of why I was a no-show. He had no bedside manners. He did not care and wanted me to pay 175 for a no-show. I asked him if he could waive, and he said no. I asked if he at least reduced, and he said no. I cried after speaking with the secretary, Ashley. She was insulting. I felt belittled and discriminated against. read more

Very clean and pretty, so an extra star for that. But honestly, I felt it was more for cosmetic work than actual dental work. I will never come back here as I do not feel they are experienced/professional enough to be considered for dental issues. I will stick with my NYC Park Ave dentist for routine exams and cleanings as I would never feel confident enough that they would be very thorough after my appt the other day. They just don't seem as though that is their expertise and I won't risk it. Waste of my time and money. read more

I never even got to go because they are so unhelpful to new patients. Apparently the hygienist won't see patients without getting x-rays from your old dentist, which turned out to be more of a hassle than I expected. They only called to remind me a few days before the appointment, and the receptionist Kachina was particularly rude about it, immediately threatening to cancel the appointment. Of course, they are booked up for the whole summer, so postponing wasn't an option. It really feels like they don't give a crap about the people who live here. Or at least Kachina doesn't--the other receptionists were much nicer about it. read more

I made an appointment for a chipped tooth. Prior to coming in I mentioned I'm on a covid unemployment budget and wanted to know what the costs would be before i sat down, because they do not take insurance at all. The team was aware of my situation, and seemingly knew that I wasn't going to be able to afford it, but insisted i have an evaluation at the cost of $300.00 anyway, only to find out minutes later the simple procedure would be out of my budget, and they "felt bad for me" about it. There is not enough space for me to describe how wonderful the East Hampton Dental Group is. The short version is that I neglected my dental care for years due to fear and a serious gag reflex. When I could no longer put off the inevitable I was referred to EHDG by an existing patient. I have never experienced the care and devotion to my dental health that I received here. Everyone was extremely professional and patient as they navigated around my phobias and ultimately restored my mouth to what is now a great source of pride for me. I was a very "difficult" case and through the process my fears and phobias diminished to the point where I am religiously dedicated to my oral health. I return several times each year for hygiene and it is because the EHDG took perfect care of me. Everyone from the dentists, assistants, hygienists and front office are top-notch. After putting off my dental issues for ages (and the benefit of wearing a mask for the past few years prolonged this) I finally decided to address my teeth - mostly for my health but also for appearance sake. I called East Hampton Dental Group for a consultation and was in Dr. Mambrino's chair within a few days. I had gum issues as well as crowns and veneers that were old and outdated and needed to be addressed. I told Dr. Mambrino my main goal was to have a healthy mouth that also looked natural. He quoted me a comprehensive plan of how we could achieve this. My treatment started in his hygienist's chair - Brandon is an amazing hygienist. Dr. Mambrino and all of his staff, were so kind, professional and conscientious. Over the next few weeks, Dr. Mambrino patiently waited for my gums to heal and look great - thanks to him I was able to avoid gum surgery. After a few months of (the best looking) temps, I had my final appointment and got everything I had hoped for - healthy gums and a bright, new smile! I cannot say enough about the experience. Looking at my 'before' picture, I wish I came to them sooner! No need to travel west for amazing comprehensive dental care when we have East Hampton Dental Group right here in the Hamptons! read more
